Quite sad to see as one of the highest populated and economical driven states having to fire off teachers and reduce education. Last I checked we were about 34-37th place in education in the US. The rich folk up in Sacramento better do something soon. I suggest stop letting the Governor buy steroids using state funds.

I wanted to do something similar to this as a kid. Drive throughout Los Angeles: up the Hollywood Mountains, down the steep hills of Echo Park, the busy intersections of the 5 Freeway...it seemed so awesome as a kid...still is too. ;)

Britain colonised us in Malaysia until the Japs rescued us in 1941. They surrendered in 1945 and the British came back and rewrote history, saying the Japs were evil. I know they weren't because my grandpa worked and made friends with the Japanese. With every faction in every war, the common soldier was not "evil". Granted, some troops joined the army because they're bloodthirsty hunters, but most of them joined because of the adventure, national pride, their friends went, or got the draft. It disgusts me how people think all the Japanese and Germans were evil, only their leaders were. But even then, "evil" isn't really the right word to use. Another thing that disgusts me is that how in the world no body ever knows/remembers of the Japanese Internment Camps? Where they were stripped off their property and sent off to poorly-made camps in the middle of the desert? Plus, being Canadian does not hide the fact that you should know this.

I agree with assisted suicide. Being plugged into a machine with no chance of survival is only putting a burden of pain upon yourself and debt to your relatives. However, what if said person doesn't remember who they are? Alzheimers? What then?

I've noticed this too. Loads of "lesbians" (whether serious or for attention) make out and hold hands in my school and no body says a thing. When two guys say it, its instantly shot down. Men are the biggest homophobes of the two genders, and the most sexually desired. This much is fact.

It sounded like a good idea the time it was created, like Affirmative Action. But through time we saw the pointlessness in it. The solution to racism isn't throwing out the minority cards, but understanding that we're all humans.

But why do you want to make more money? Money shouldn't be an end, maybe a means, but never an end. So I can eat better food, drive a better car and spend more money on hobbies and such. I do not mean just making more money for doing nothing different from anyone else, I mean working harder then the next guy. I should be able to choose if i want to work 18 hrs a day, make more money and buy more land then my friend, even if there may be no point. Why would you want better advantages when you have everything that you need and there's no complaints about it? Because people always want more. And they should goddamn stop at that place.

The idea behind the "Black History Month" is that we 'celebrate' the other 11 months of the year as White history months because most of taught history revolves around them. And the fact that we still must feel "pity" upon the blacks for being slaved and separated. :roll: Yet, we don't see an Asian History month. Specifically Japanese History Month. But hey, we make that up for recognizing the Hispanics! Hispanic Heritage Month, couldn't give us History since we don't got none!
