  1. lower reps, higher weight for strength higher reps, lower weight for endurance [hide][/hide]
  2. Okay, the second body takes years and years and years of training, and possibly steroids. Just because you lift weights doesn't mean you'll get monster massive, there's nothing wrong with having lean muscle all over your body, but you'll probably never have obscene amounts like that guy. But it's your body, you don't need to lift weights if you don't want to. if all you want is abs, go for it.
  3. Stop drinking soda. If you're thirsty, drink water. Eat better too, exercising is only half the battle, you need to eat right too. You need to lower your bodyfat percentage if you want to have visible abs, and you also need to do ab isolation exercises if all you're going for is abs. Situps, crunches, heavy squats and deadlifts, captain's chairs, whatever. A repetition is just how many times you perform a certain exercise, for example 15 situp reps would be doing 15 situps. a set is a fixed amount of reps. 3 sets of 10 reps, 4 sets of 20 reps, etc etc Do Starting Strength if you're looking to pack on some muscle all over yer body.
  4. I think math is necessary to learn in school. Even if you think you want to do something in your life after graduating high school, it might not work out the way you wanted it to. You might be interested in the subject matter of a particular course, but once you actually enter that line of work it may not be that appealing to you. For example, for years my brother thought he wanted to be a journalist or whatever, but when he graduated hs and actually went into the journalism field, he realized he didn't like any of the people he would be working with or how the industry itself worked. He cooks now. Anyway, my point is, just because you think you like a particular math-less subject now doesn't mean you will like the actual career that deals with that math-;ess subject. and if that happens, you should be able to fall back on a job/career that requires you to use your math skills you learned throughout school. hopefully this makes sense
  5. The ending was extremely disappointing but I thought the movie was pretty good. Michael Cera was pretty good in this movie, too. Oh wait, that wasn't michael cera!

  11. No, no, no, no, no, no, NO. 1. It was CORRELATED with schizophrenia, note that correlation != causation 2. That was in people who were already genetically predisposed to schizophrenia Yeah, that's what I meant. I didn't mean smoking causes schizo, i meant #2. oops!

I'm going to HARD haunted mansion, holyfuuuuu-
  13. There's not much mental damage one gets from smoking ganja, but it's still there. One side effect is someone who smokes is more likely to get schizophrenia earlier in their life than if they didn't smoke. But Will, you need to stop and take a few seconds to think. Marijuana is still used by millions of people in America, and if the mental dangers were as bad as you think they are, the government would be all over those cases using them as evidence for whatever. Just like IF there was even a single death caused by marijuana use, it would be blown up so much it would be ridiculous. What I'm saying is mota isn't nearly as bad as you think it could possibly be. I don't understand how you think what you think.
  14. Legalize it! It'll fix the economy.

Mmmm, Monster Massive is humongous. Last year 60,000 tickets were sold. I'm betting thousands more people are going to be there this year, too. Not all raves are outside in fields and such, the ones I mentioned are both inside gigantic stadiums. LA Sports Arena and Shrine Expo hall, both big venues.

Does anybody here go to them? I'm planning on going to HARD Haunted Mansion on Halloween with a few of my brosephs, I was wondering what to expect as this will be my first rave. Either that or Monster Massive. Someone tell me what to expect. Anyway, share your rave experiences.
  18. Are there any restrictions on what you can/can't do?
  19. On Friday, October 9th at about 4:30 A.M. PST, NASA plans to slam two spacecraft into the moon in an effort to find water. One part of the spacecraft will be sent into a crater on the moon, and then a second part of that same spacecraft will follow it in and make impact with the new crater that the first part creates. lolwutbomb?!?!?
  20. For the cost of our semi-stable ecosystem? What is the worst that could happen? You honestly think a small bomb will mess up the moon's rotation? The moon has been hit asteroids(or w/e) with much more force than the bomb will create. Yet the bomb is the first thing to actually explode there, you just said one could survive sitting on a hangrenade that is about to go of because one had previously been hit by a car that had an impact greater than the force of the explotion. What? That isn't even a good example. Have you seen the moon's craters? Do you know how much force it takes to create things that big? Even abomb's explosion would not equal the force and damage done by those asteroids. I really doubt a bomb exploding will change anything. We're not talking about a nuclear bomb, here.

I like Stephen King. Tommyknockers is my favorite book. I dont read much, but I enjoy it when I do. If I had a job I'd buy more books, but I'm only 15.
