should i remind you that the crystal bow is a long-bow- hence it is rubbish for pking and has not got a special attack. Too many people without any knowledge of dark beasts post here like they know everything- dark beasts are NOT like abyssal demons, dark beasts have loads more defence and hitpoints compared to abyssal demons, so you cant really kill more than about 50 in an hour. The second thing about them is that you cant use guthans there either, because of their high hittingpower, so that means using prayer potions, that not only limit inventory space and banking but also cost alot of money.

They were still 25 million when I got 85 slayer. trixstar , no need to exagerate... the 1st whips were not 100mill , they were more in the 35 - 40 mill price range. dear little boy, no need to post unnecessary, false facts. The first whips sold by slayers were ranging from 60-85m, though the first whips sold on the market by merchanters and duelers were indeed priced in the lower hundred millions.

too bad theyr worth 2x less then the right half now....in rsc you could but 2 purple party hats for a left half, now you cant even buy 1k blood runes. i remember getting my first lefty from kq when they were 6.7m, and second one from abby when they were 1.3m, and thats all the drag halfs i have got with my 80m+ melee xp.

the bow wont be for the common scaper, the bows will only be obtained by people with 90+ slayer, and having that is very uncommon. I tried killing dark beasts a few minutes ago and can say that they require alot more effort in killing than abyssal demons- they have high defence, very high hitpoints and require proctect melee prayer to be used(guthans is not eunaugh). Even if the dark bow is a 1/10 drop they wont be sold for 100k each. Your post brings me on to another point- rangers being cheap and rangers always complaining about them being weak- at start of rs2- they were overpowerd and could rule the wilderness, now magic is overpowerd, and can rule the wilderness, rangers cant always be the best. And even in the olden days, rangers used to go out with 50 rune arrows, msb black hides, coif and a power ammy and still beat a warrior in full rune, though risking 10 times less, now you want the new ranged equipment to be cheap and powerful- just not going to happen. Rangers in rs2 have always been very cheap and dislike every single update they get, dragon bolts are a great ko wepon, but because of they price, rangers dont use them. When melee got granite shield to stop rangers huge power- rangers moaned, calles melee-ers cheaters and would only fight melee with rune kite, the only right thing for jagex to do is make rangers lose alot of money every time they die(similar to full dharoks, veracs or ahrims with fury and whip) and make it easy for them to ko people- then they just would not have anything to moan about anymore.

that does'nt really make any sence....the new bow will be focused on pking, not training(who would train with dragon arrows). I don't recall Jagex saying the bow would be focused on pking? More likely than not this bow will be able to use every arrow type up to Dragon just like msb can use every arrow up to rune. I don't see how this could not be considered a viable option for training. :? learn to read- i said focused on, not made only for. still, do you really think they make a 20m bow that is able to fire dragon arrows just for training? and who would you train on with dragon arrows? ofcource, you can train with it too, but as a pking wepon, why would it make training slayer better?

how can bronze be rare, if, as you said, everyone can make it. bronze is uncommon, not rare, there is a VERY big differance.

that does'nt really make any sence....the new bow will be focused on pking, not training(who would train with dragon arrows). anyway, most probobly, if the bow is +80-90 range attack, same speed as msb and not a great special attack, it would cost about 25m at start and lower to about 8m in a few weeks. if the new bow is 100+ range attack, same speed as msb and have a special that can ko, it will be worth 50m+ and hold the price quite stedily. when slayer came out, partyhats only cost <30m, that means you could get a partyhat set for 2 abyssal whips, since we already have 3k potential dark beast slayers already, the bow wont be that expencive, but it will be very expencive indeed.

I don't think that you can have 99 slayer without any combat stats. check zzzamorak- 55+ slayer without any combat stats. 99 is possible, though pointless.

how can slayer be the best SINGLE moneymaking skill? even if you had 99 slayer without any combat stats you couldnt make any money. easily c- 1.2m h with 91+ rc

Because it's a combat quest, really. ;) though some people cant train combat anymore.....

rune ores cant be mined fast eunaugh to influence the price of furys- there are about 6 rune rocks in rs and the spawnrate is 12 minutes- with about 40 servers thats less than 3k rune ores an hour max- not even near eunaugh.

well, because rune prices are very stable, and fury price has always been connected to the price of death and chaos runes, fury prices have always been very stable.

it is not 90 rune ore per onyx, its ~233 rune ore per onyx, and youd have to change worlds 233 times for that(1120 tokkul per ore)

now when furys are under 4 mil, noone is going to sell deaths and chaos runes to the shop to buy one, so the production is only on obsidian monster killers, and because of that obsidian prices go up, but because they cant produce eunaugh furys they will go up aswell. the main reason why there are so many onyx stones around is the chaos/death selling business, ive seen people sell 2.7 million chaos to the store to make furys, and whats happent now is, the demand goes up, production goes down, and price rises again.

fury prices will most probobly just stay at 4.2-4.3 for now on and obsidian capes will rise to about 350k each. fury prices have always been connected to the price of deaths and chaos runes, and if the price of chaos and deaths dont change, neither will the price of fury.

I fail to see how that new telly speeds up nat crafting. Could you tell me how? in the olden days, people accually used to run between shilo bank and nature altar, though it was a pain in the [wagon].

so theres 2 real rewards- cheaper furys and faster slayer without lunar spells.

well, high level updates are something that requires serious dedication to do, lets say making fury ammys, using ice barrage and so on, not something as easy as getting 100 combat. capes of achievement are a perfect example for a high leve update.

What exactly is a high level player in your opinion then? Someone with 126 cb and 2000+ total? sorry for the double post if you had read my post you would have understood that i would class anyone 120+ combat as being high level. Though in these days it is not as simple as that, because there are packs of pc products around that accually know nothing about rs. and where did i mention skill total? when classing players on their level i assume it is combat.

anyone lvl ~100 is defenatly not a high level player, with the additions of new wepons and pc id say a high level player is atleast 120+
