Given that circumstance, let's say that that same account banned in January 2007 already has all of its appeals used up, including its Last Chance one. Just out of curiosity, how then would one go about getting ahold of Jagex? Via their actual e-mail? :?

Perm ban in rs lasts usually 2 years.. I'm very curious as to how you came to that conclusion. So you're saying if I had an account that was perm banned in January 2007 - 10 blackmarks and all - it would most likely be unbanned by default on January 2009, more or less?

Check the list before you suggest a player, he's already there.

Lol dude.. go to bed and think again in the morning.. bb6 has never ever been banned, he doesn't even have a single black mark on his account.. Here's a list of top100 offenders of the mass ban: Ah yes, the mass ban of February 2004 in which 957 players got banned for "cheating and using macro software to automatically play the game for them". Heh, that's one way to get your name immortalized. :lol:

XxCavalierxX has 93 cooking, no 99s. Indeed, this is true. Snake Slava actually appears to be unbanned now and, based on the Runescript database, is still an active player. I'm almost positive that the reason he got banned was that his Russian-English translator was wrongly detected by Jagex as cheating software. I found that bit of information on RS Wiki, and I've also heard accounts of other RSC players affirming that event.

It's happened before in the past and it can happen again. Now that the old recovery method for checking P2P status doesn't work, any submissions here on out could have been P2P at some point - granted they don't get a single point of XP in any p2p stats. And Bromotoffis is already on the list.

It means that your total level (provided that you are 100% F2P and have never, ever been a member) is what's being considered, not your combat level. For example, Franzk is the only 100% F2P level 126 known to date, but since his total level doesn't measure up to the current contenders of the F2P list, his name isn't displayed on it. In other words, if you are 100% F2P, then no matter what your combat level is, if your total level is at least the same as the lowest shown on the F2P list, you're eligible for placement on it. Hope that clears things up. :D
