if everyone stopped, then fishing would instantly become incredibly profitable and people would move back and reap the profits. don't be asinine. it's all about seeking out competition and moving to the market you perform least poorly at.
-
let's get this straight. you don't have to fish to make money. you can go do other things that don't suck for money. stop acting helpless to justify why you like doing easy things (yes, fishing is easy, it's like 60 actions per hour). yes, they contribute less. fishing contributes less effort than soloing dagannoth kings - not only is it risk free, it takes about one fiftieth the effort. this is runescape, not america - you actually can be anything you want to be. you aren't forced to fish. and being stubborn isn't a good reason either.

can't open effigies with dg -
just like to add, if you heavily abuse a glitch, don't post it on youtube if you care about your account :P or just don't do it at all

op cant inb4 jagex said they are/were planning to utilize item resets, so yeah, i guess this is just confirmation props to jagex. only thing i want them to not do is remove discontinueds in item resets, at least put them in the party room at a jagex event or something

gotta get dem skills up to open dem effigies :\ almost got another mining level and hunter level today -
In a month sharks just about all the gathered items will be stable.. at incredibly low prices.. making RS very one sided... easier buyable production skils, useless gatherer skills. Unless Jagex can actually do what they promised, take care of the bots.. the game will suffer a lot. low price is their true price. fishing and woodcutting are hardly labor intensive, and hence earn low wages.

Anyone who has ever taught or tutored a subject knows that you get the same questions over and over. Why should learning how to play Runescape be any different than learning anything else? you don't get paid  but about the search bar point... 45s is WAY too long a cooldown. to prevent flooding my ass.

How do you use staff of light spec effect with other weapons?
Bladewing replied to superway25's topic in Help and Advice
it is a bug, however -
not worth farming cw for the halo but if you have the tickets already, it has its uses a friend of mine is going for 200m str xp (he's almost there), and he says it helps him afk nearly twice as long at azs before he has to pray at the altar
-
wyvern bones are 7k+ so i think i'll stick with yak :P
-
chaotic rapier fury soulwars/fire cape proselyte chestplate and verac's plateskirt + prayer potions for piety should be a good start. once you have even more money get a berserker ring, extreme potions, turmoil, and bandos armor (in that order)

You are playing a videogame with millions of others. If there wasn't meant to be comparisons, highscores wouldn't exist, decorative forms of armor wouldn't exist, and hell, it'd probably be a single player game. You should really start thinking your posts through before you hit the reply button, because you're way out in left field here with regards to what I am saying in this thread. yes there are other players, and of course comparisons. people will be better than me and people will be worse than me. i should have been clearer: don't let it get to you. one of my friends went from 100m to over double my bank (accumulated over 7 years) in less than a week, but i don't let it affect my gameplay or how i view my own accomplishments.
-
stop comparing yourself to others and you'll be fine  it's a game, not the olympics of merchanting

Yep, it's not the fault of free trade. Try reading the thread, you'll look less of an idiot. not really, he's right you know. staking is 50/50 odds under the best conditions, and knowing that there are bugs you're probably looking at 40/60 or 45/55. even 49/51, it doesn't matter - staking is a losing game unless you have some shenanigans of your own to pull (be it bug abuse, switching rules, or having specialised stats like 99134th pure). i worked for all the gp i have, and i'm not stupid enough to bet it in a losing game. [/hide] What you and him seem to be missing is that this thread isn't blaming free trade or staking for me losing money, obviously that was my own doing. The thread is here explaining my situation and to see if anyone else feels discouraged from playing the game as a result of these updates, regardless of if you've won/lost anything staking ... "i am discouraged because i lost money staking" >free trade's fault no, i am not discouraged from playing due to free trade at all. if i lose a big pile of money (like when i was pked in my own poh for about a quarter of my bank in 2008) yeah it can discourage me but this is not about the new updates, this belongs in the rant thread "how i lost my items by dying or otherwise". whatever you do, please dear god don't write a tip.it times article on it

every time i use cls i am disappointed with it except wyverns - it's astonishingly good there.
-
in a month prices will be stable on all but the most extreme items (partyhats, crackers, half wines, torva/pernix/virtus, elysian/divine)
