Manipulation doesn't cause inflation, but it amplifies it, and the item rises in price much more quickly. that is NOT inflation

once again, manipulation does not cause inflation. do you know what inflation is? and the reason players act this way is because of the faulty system (GE) that allows this kind of activity to actually work.

i have been using pc my whole life, have no bank pin, and have never been hacked in 9 years playing runescape. it has less to do with what computer you use and more to do with how sensible you are.

We need wither untradeable armor that is extremely hard to obtain, or degradable armour capable of recharge that is rare; or Common, powerful armour that is unrepairable and degradable. Making more Bandos set-alikes is just arrogance at it's finest at this point. are you accusing squisher of creating the bandos armor set? be reasonable - players act rationally in response to the stimuli (updates) applied to them by Jagex.

I suppose, but that's not a very broad market affecting every player in F2p now is it, apart from the inflation caused by rares. the demand exists whether or not the player has the gp to purchase the item. also rares do not cause inflation. they are simply more reactive to changes in price levels than other items, such as yew logs.

decreased demand for lower end equipment is still a deflationary force, and your explanation doesn't explain the fall in the prices of potions, herbs, bones, fish, and other commodities. which is not to say that the release of chaotics is the sole contributing factor. other factors like the release of frost dragons & herb resource dungeon, increased botting all contribute. however it is safe to say that runescape is experiencing mild deflation.

although the causation has yet to be proven, since chaotic weapons came out price levels have been falling.

without cannon at dks, you are right c cbow would be an absolutely huge improvement. and i agree with sirizenhime, instead of spending 20 hours for another chaotic you would get way more utility either making money and chinning for a higher ranged level or making money and burst/barraging for higher magic and summoning levels.

oh yeah armadyl. ccbow won't make a significant difference against prime since cannon does most the work. he said he pvps, so there. also rex i guess.

on lower defence tasks (i.e. the ones you want to be doing anyway), yes.

the problem is that for the near future will be oscillating between being bought out and junk, neither of which is conducive to increasing the quantity traded. it will be several months before they will be traded at some price around med.

ranger boots give you more ranged bonus per gp than armadyl, which is why i recommended them instead. you could instead buy a fury. be sure to eagle eye and use [extreme] ranging potions 100% of the time.

if you only have 20m to work with, here's my recommendations: 1. get a chaotic crossbow 2. get rigour 3. buy an archer's ring. -1.6m, + 4 ranged attack 4. buy an amulet of ranging (until you can afford fury). -900k, +5 ranged attack 5. buy ranger boots. -18.2m, +5 ranged attack for tasks, i wouldn't block suqahs - they're a quick task and actually pretty decent xp. i wouldn't block terrordogs either since they are so uncommonly assigned. i recommend you cancel or block all metal dragons since they will be very slow with ranged and don't pay out very well anyway.
