why can't OP use runescape's ignore feature? and why can't crusty use tip.it's ignore feature?

well i suppose that depends if you chopped yews or mined ess on a daily basis in 2007 - bots used to be concentrated in places that weren't frequented by anyone who actually wanted to play the game. nowadays, there are bots everywhere you go bar bosses.

you see more bots in your day-to-day scaping in 2010 than you did in 2007. rwt might be expand (because let's face it, the number of players actively seeking gp for $$ far exceeds the players actively seeking phats for $$).

obsidian would be better than spectral, since the only damage you take is from the ranged minion. then you can also bring fury and whip (for use on minion) without risk with protect item prayer. you can also get away with dhide if risk is a concern, it's only like a few ranged defence less than karils.

if you are playing for levels you are doing it wrong. this is a game, not a job. if you don't find getting levels fun, then quit.

karil's xbow would be better than darts. you should use it for sure on hellhounds, gargoyles, blue dragons, gargoyles, and dark beasts. chaotic crossbow maybe is better on abyssals, irons, and steels.

don't even bother with spirit mages - they're so far spread out that iron titan, which can only use melee attacks, would not be able to walk over to them before you kill them. use on all others except gargs, which you should do in kuradal's. e: use cannon on black demons in taverly instead.

That's completely false. Karils has the best magic defense for meleeing(arma if you're ranging). For example if you prefer tanking at spectres with ss/pony/what have you karils will be your best bet. I am sure that there are others but I honestly can't remember any other magical slayer monsters anymore. if you are tanking spectres then you are doing something horribly wrong. the only task where karil's is best is waterfiends. that's it.

I was surprised how little I got hit by the mage... Still, I wear karil's top. If that is a problem, I'm sure OP can spend the first 10 seconds of the fight killing the mage. are you sure you have been to GWD? minions respawn immediately if the boss is alive.

magic defence is ridiculously important at bandos, though.

something around 800k/h. anyway it was less than 1m/h back when ppot (3) were 7k each, so it's even less now. bandos is the best armor if you can carry enough ppots to finish a task without banking. which should be every task if you are turmoiling (instead of piety) and have access to tortoise (for dark beasts).

it would be even more stupid to only drop part of your bank.
