Ah, there's the attitude that has shown me that RS is on its way down as an MMO and instead is becoming a single-player game. Yes, I go hours without talking sometimes, but I don't like it when people assume there's no point to talking because it doesn't raise any of your stats. I find that talking while leveling is far more fun than not talking on the whole.

Please explain how you think they're making the content more mature. They've blocked out approximately 3% of the English language so far, and there's not even blood or anything when you fight. I don't see them integrating anything slightly more mature, probably because they know their little age box is completely ineffectual at stopping little kids from playing.

Definitely. I miss the fact that there wasn't all this advertising for it *cough* Miniclip *cough cough* and people had a lot more respect for each other. None of this noob-this and noob-that. People were nice for the sake of being nice, not because they wanted something, just a good clean fun gaming experience. Now it's all about levels and items and gold and people are forgetting the real purpose of MMORPGs (IMO)- to socialize. If youre a pure anything, you get so engrossed in your training and whatnot, you just don't have time to be social and it really hurts the atmosphere when everyone ignores each other. I'd rather have a bunch of people spamming garbage like "@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" than nothing at all, personally. *Gets down from soapbox*

Isn't it 13 or something around there? I dunno, I'm just guessing. But what use does that do. It won't stop even a fraction of 1 percent of ppl who sign up underage. They can lie, just the same as there are 10 year olds on Myspace and everything else. Again, unless Jagex requires you to submit ur SS number or something very private like that (which they won't cuz it's prolly not legal), they'll never beat the young'ns.

I dunno, personally the pures kind of bother me. Not because of their low combat level, but it's just their attitude. They make it seem like because they spend all their time doing one thing they somehow have this higher knowledge. If I wanted to spend hours on end only doing one thing in this game, I would. I don't bug them about their decision and they shouldn't be on me for wanting to have some combat stats so I don't have to endure the embarassment of being pwned by a lvl 14 river troll.
