Succeed on 1 Chi and 2 plate voyages yesterday, While I have enough for both Tetsu chest and SS hood (and thus complete both SS and Tetsu), I might hold them out until the armor update. I probably won't be using them for a little while just yet. Mousepad: Did you try checking if you have a lingering Random at Surula or the Marketeer? I reliably get them everyday, though there are a few days where I didn't get them, but that should be a rare occurence.

For the record, sending out for scrolls after getting the 80 achieves nothing beyond getting experience for your crew, so no hidden 81st scroll...

I know of one, but I have no idea after that. Could even be hundreds :P

Sorry, feeling too excited. At long f'ing last. Just for giggles, I sent out on an 81st scroll before I collected my 80th at 82%, wanna see what happens. For the record, nothing changes in port. Nothing at all, except for the fact that you can no longer select what scroll to get, hardly a surprise. Update on 01-May-2013: Completed all of my PoP armor sets (last piece was DL hood), now gathering jade for my jade portal, and then... the long voyage to capping all of the resources and trade goods (which is undoubted going to be a huge PITA, especially Bamboo)

I completed my Story Trios about 2-3 weeks ago I think at this stage, I initially started with 3 FOTS, used 2 for the Trios (all of them were gathered before the bottom row effect nerf), and been doing the randoms everytime it came up for me. I have yet to regain the 2.

What they use and what they want to use are two completely different things. We use what is avaible, such as the F keys to switch back and forth. But do we want to use F keys? Some do, I don't, I prefer to have those keys remapped to something that isn't that far up the keyboard.

Throw a EE in that and you are pretty much good to go.

1. On the bright side, at least it's 'only' a tetsu helm, rather than a tetsu plate. 2. They ought to add a confirmation screen for PoP items. Not trying to dumb down the game, but since you can't actually control how the game takes the goods (IE you can't just take 100 tetsu to stop you accidentally make 2 tetsu plates, not an unlikely scenario either), a confirmation screen, at least for PoP only, could be desireable.

I never thought training slayer as a money maker since the tasks are far too unpredictable, even with task banning. You get some tasks which can be decent money, then you get some which are outright horrible etc. Getting the slayer level to kill something new is something I strive for, but I have learned to never expect *anything* when actually training it (ironic, since earning money with slayer and training slayer are two completely different things). But the only slayer monster that is really worth anything is pretty much ganodermic beasts, and even those might not compare to bosses such as QBD. Ganodermics does have the easy to kill appeal though (I know plenty of people who outright refuse to even go near any boss).

Sometimes silence fit me better than getting abuse. I have grown weary of the online gaming community that I have switched several games because of the constant abuse people were throwing at each other, and thus I am more than happy with the silence. Better that than "hey noob why don't you have torva?" I got the other day.

I am pretty sure it's like gems, since I have never seen I get a proper ore and starlight ore at the same time.

On the downside, i failed that 5 plate voyage, again! The game is trying to stop me from full tetsu or something. Rolled a 3 plate one and did that instead...

I am keeping my ores to make them too. I am going to use lrc to level my smithing and mining, and I'll reach 99 mining long before I get close with smithing, so the extra mining xp is of no use to me

Polypore dungeon has a even bigger penalty for non-mage attacks iirc, last time i tried, it barely did any damage
