26th November 2008 - While Guthix Sleeps
'Search' one of the bookcases until a switch goes CLICK. Then follow the wires that are charged up to find the next bookcase in the sequence, once you go round enough times, they'll turn off the door.

Ok it finally worked. I have no idea why it took me doing the same thing several times for the door to finally unlock. -.-

I just don't get the weights... I assume I must make the Thermometer match my weight. My weight is 6KG, and the Thermometer is 3 tickits. I tried putting 6KG of weight on the statue and also 3KG of weight on the statue, and even tried using the contraption and neither work. What is it I'm missing here :S

ARGH! These weights do me head in! If someone figures out what they are for, and know what to do please pm me or something. I don't dare go through any of the doors  THINK I GOT IT! The thermometer says 5 tickits, I'm assuming I must convert the mass of the weights to equate to that 5 tickits on the termometer? Nevermind...probably for something else!

Perhaps you need to smelt them along with a Dragon Chainbody in the Dragon Forge?

I'm up to the room with the statue where you can add weights too, bit stumped  And regarding, artefacts... [hide=]Could it be that the Eye of Saradomin, the fist of Guthix etc, are actually parts of the stone of Jas and not necessarily the actual stone itself.[/hide] edit - just made a staircase appear, cool beans!

grandmaster quest
November 30th is a Sunday... The reason why the quest hasn't been released is because Jagex very rarely do two in-game updates in a week (and I think that's only ever been because of bugs!) If there is two pieces of content for one week they get released together, and according to the BTS the Thanksgiving event will be released 'a few days' over the last weekend. So we are most likely going to get the quest on Thursday, unless for some reason it's been delayed... I'm praying to see it tomorrow along with Thanksgiving though, I won't have time to play from Thursday onwards because of uni assignments.

I noticed the wording they used for the turkey event, it'll be slightly before the weekend, may as well shove two updates into one day, so we'll probably see the Grandmaster Quest on Thursday :ohnoes:

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Not in all legends, some are also classed as fully developed (adult) dragons. To some degree you could argue that brutal green dragons are some form of a wyrm.
-
Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
If anything, they'd probably look like bigger, meaner, dragons. And now, for the proof: And even more interesting is this too, Stone of Jas reference anyone, and he apparently appeared at the centre of the war field...Fist of Guthix anyone?

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Juna mentions the wyrms. They were colossal beings that lit the sky with fire. Now i'm just trying to find somewhere to actually back it up, but I do definitely remember that it was mentioned in game, it was the first time I ever heard of wyrms and made me get a bit obsessed with them He'll want to stab himself with Zamorak. I suspect that since they were close allies, Lucien may be aware of little advantages that he could use to tackle Zamorak, and is just after something that would give him the strength and opportunity to go face to face with a God. Ahh how I love speculating!

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Yes there was Wyrms, they were most likely the direct spawn of the Dragonkin. However overuse of them during wars and climate changes brought them to the brink of extinction, over time the remainder of them evolved into the current dragons of today. Urghh, did I bring this up in a topic before or did I forget to mention it? The one flaw with the Wyrms is that they were apparently used in the God Wars which shouldn't really be possible since White Dragons existed at that time, unless White Dragons were infact Wyrms, which may also explain why 3rd age range armour doesn't look like other dragonhide equipment. How do you know 3rd age range is made of dragonhide? Not all range armour is dragonhide; there's snakeskin and whatever barrows is as well. Because the examine say's it's crafted from White Dragonhide. :) "Fabulously ancient range protection crafted from white dragonhide."

I've started thinking a lot more about this. According to some undefined rules Gods are not allowed to have a direct influence on Runescape so that always made me think that it was impossible for the Dark Lord to be Zamorak. With deeper thought however I'm starting to think he may appear, let's make Lucien the Mahjarrat Deceiver for once, I mean he is a bit shifty anyway. Although there's no link here, he could possibly be the person behind the plan of reviving Zamorak. Why? Well if he has the Staff of Armadyl, and possibly the stone of Jas (or atleast something that amplifies his power) he may be trying to bring Zamorak to this plane so that he can take his godhood. Just something else to throw onto the plate!

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
THANK YOU! I was wanting to post something about this yesterday but I just couldn't write it up properly! The problem with the existence of Dragon items is thanks to Jagex and their inconsistency. Long before the Dragonkin were 'introduced' they claimed it was the Mahjarrat who made Dragon equipment. However as soon as they introduced the Dragonkin, they claimed they were the source of Dragon equipment. The only way to try and make it work is that the Dragonkin were the creators, and at some point in time, in one way or another, the Mahjarrat obtained the gear and when they left Frenaskae for Gielinor they brought it with them. It could be possible that under Zaros, the dragonkin and Mahjarrat came across one another and formed a pact? Zaros' empire did include Dragon Riders who used Wyrms, the direct 'spawn' of the Dragonkin, so it's possible for connections, but this is only speculation. After that it start's to make sense again, Mahjarrat died, Humans looted them for the dragon equipment. Human's used the equipment and were defeated by various monsters around Gielnor. Simplest way to look at it: Dragonkin are the creators, the Mahjarrat were the distributors. And bringing up Wyrms again makes me wonder if Jagex will ever add one to the game.

19th November 2008 - FunOrb - Zombie Dawn Multiplayer
Quest will be next week along with the Turkey event. They updated the article of the week yesterday and the hint of the week in game on Monday, when those are added without a in-game update then normally there won't be an in-game update.
