  1. I know that most dragon equipment is long overdue. But the pickaxe seriously needs to come out asap.
  2. Click on a diagonal square but make sure it's the square that's closest to the one your on. If you click diagonally too far ahead of where you are, chances are you won't go that way. I was wondering how to do it at first.
  3. I'm looking forward to the price dropping wouldn't mind owning a set again. Gave it to a mate to finish the quest and he never gave it back -.-
  4. mine just came through with the goods 5 logs :D hard workers in miscellania i got nothing else now they can have 3 more years off <3 Heh  I'll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon, atleast I got stuff to keep me occupied until then!
  5. Just need Mahogany logs from my little slave work force and I've done both Diaries :D
  6. - Helm - Amulet - Legs - Weapon 4 slots left? So four more areas? - The Desert - Gnome lands - Elf Lands - Kandarin - Adrougne, Yanille and Seers - Taverly, Burthorpe and Troll lands - Wilderness - Morytania Guess we got plenty of choice, seven more areas, but I assume we won't get Gnome or Elf lands because they don't really have human establishments, nor does the wilderness. So that brings it back down to four areas. Perhaps Jagex will do something were once you have done all the Achievement Diaries you unlock tasks around the Gnome and Elf lands plus the wilderness and by completing them you'll unlock a trim for the quest cape?
  7. I watered and put compost on mine. What I did do wrong was that I put the scarecrow in before I planted the sweetcorn. So to correct that, I just took out the scarecrow with a spade and then replanted it. Then it ticked off the achievement. Woke up earlier today to a full grown yew tree ^.^ now got my lovely shield, I think it'll come in handy for restoring praying to max at Zammy mages instead of wasting a prayer pot :) don't have to worry too much about losing str bonuses since I slash through them easily enough.
  8. OK, I still don't get it :P Probably because I've learned all of my English watching episode after episode of The Simpsons <3 Guessing a spirit is a drunk person or something? :P or a spirit drink has alcohol in it. And just bug-reported :) Spirit is another word for ghost, so the joke is that it's a ghost ghost. Not quite. Rum is a spirit (type of alcohol), that's where the pun comes from. edit - your against a spirit in a quest about a different kind of spirit.
  9. Talking about Jagex? \ Reminds me: When I was killing the Spirit Ghost in the Rum Deal quest, I examined it, and it said: 'The pun was intended.' How would this be a joke? Spirit Ghost ;) There is a pun and it is intended. And yeah, probably just a bit of a glitch, report it to Jagex if you haven't already.
  10. The reward is: [hide=]A shield that restores 1/4 of your prayer, once per day, this is the 'easy' Falador reward.[/hide]
  11. Thankoo to my bud for lending me the full helm: I personally think it looks hawt! I soo hope to get Dragon Claws to complete my outfit :
  12. It looks awesome seeing two people go face to face with one another with the claw special Looks like an epic brawl!
  13. It's a shame that it isn't very popular because I personally find it one of the most fun things to do in Runescape, I've only done it a few times, won a couple, lost a couple, and it was wonderful, all the people I faced were competitive but we all had respect for each other and it was nice seeing different set ups for fighting and stuff. I nearly got pwned by one dude who was a considerably lower combat level in comparison to me because of some awesome Dragon Dagger specs he hit on me and I'll always remember the first final I got to were I had 2 HP left, no food, pots or prayer and I was fighting a guy in Dharok who had a little bit of health left, we hit a good chunk of zeroes and I managed to finish him off in the end and won a nice bit of cash. Jagex should update it or something, give it some interesting rewards like maybe increased exp rates for a short duration depending on how far you got into the tournament? And maybe some decorative armour, like gold trimmed mithril or something daft.
  14. I'm sure merchers will see this as an opportunity to buy the plate as cheap as possible, then start selling for max since less and less will come into the game thanks to the update to drop rates.
  15. I've only just realised that when the KBD said in a letter before about what makes us strong will be our downfall (or something to that degree) I always thought he meant the dragon equipment, as we use it more, the more powerful the Dragonkin become. Now it's blatantly obvious he was referring to magic! As soon as humans gained access to magic, our golden age of runescape started, were the human races came into power. The key to the Dragonkin's power is magic, and by removing the Stone of Jas from the temple of Guthix it has only speeded up the process for the Dragonkin. -edit - Ah the quote: The very weapons that make you strong bring Kin's return ever closer. Ok, so magic isn't exactly a weapon per say but meh :D
  16. Ahh just thought of something!! Although it doesn't quite work there is a Dragon threat coming from all directions. North - Wilderness - King Black Dragon, Red Dragons and Green Dragons (also Black ones) East - The Dragon in Lumbridge underground and Black Dragons in Evil Chicken Lair South - Bronze, Iron and Steel Dragons in Brimhaven dungeon West - Mithril Dragons, Green Brutal Dragons and Blue Dragons to the west. Don't really see the contribution this has to the thread but eh, may help someone else to speculate if it hasn't already been mentioned.
  17. Sounds like a good month. Perhaps nothing exhilarating for me, but greatly appreciated!
  18. They're definitely related, but the first of Guthix is located pretty far from the Stone of Jas. The Stone of Jas is also known as the Fist of Guthix, and the Eye of Saradomin. The minigame you are thinking about was named after the Stone because it landed or hit there (the imprint in the middle is made by the stone). Exactly. 10 points to you. where can I get some of these "points'? So how does power emanating from a stone turn in blue and green liquid? Or are tthe tears of guthix and the stone unrelated? As far as I know, the Tears of Guthix arent related to the Stone of Jas. Maybe because the stone is pretty close to the Tears cavern that because Guthix was emotional the stone of Jas could detect it and caused the caves to produce the tears, not Guthix itself.
  19. *looks at the drop in price of the Platebody* Ok! It is dropping! Never gonna sell it though, it holds a special nostalgic value for me. I just need the full helm back and a kite shield now.
  20. Maybe you can't sell the shard because people are trying to buy one of the other shards or the actual platebody. And as long as one of those are being sold for max price or above med price, then all the other pieces can rise! You have to consider that the price will change overall depending on four items not one, they are all interconnected (much like visage's and dragonfire shields, godsword blades and godswords etc). I don't see the platebody itself dropping at all on the G.E and until it does, it's not crashing.
  21. Being able to use the Shield of Arrav would be very handy, Zemouregal wanted to claim it because it would give him a distinct advantage over his fellow Mahjarrat, and I think Lucien also attempted to claim the shield a long time ago too. That's all I can think of at the moment, perhaps the shield can negate magic, which would severely hamper the abilities of Lucien.
  22. Ah no no, not yet, but by making it easier to get, more supply will reach demand. It'll just start dropping a little quicker than what it would of beforehand.
  23. To make the plate do the opposite of what it's doing now: drop in price. That's the only way I see it.
  24. For the reward alone it's definitely worth it, and it is a very enjoyable quest, so yes!
