  1. If a 137 could get onto a f2p world the only place they could kill me would be at lvl 1 Wildy and beyond. As far as I've seen for f2p no where in the map boosts the level ranges. So yeah, in a p2p or wildy situation chances are that a level 137 could jump me and pwn me a round in advance probably.
  2. Ok, I'm not physically able to confirm it, so I used a spreadsheet. Some problems with that is if Jagex is using a decimal level system so you could be a 117.83 combat level. If that's the case, well, we'll need to use the combat calculator. However, you physically confirmed that 137's cannot attack you and you them? As an f2p player currently (going to members soon it's driving me insane) the level range is 102-136, unless I enter the wildy:
  3. Oh and may I also add: HOW AWESOME IS THE FAVOURITE WORLD SELECT!! :D
  4. I have to say after having it around for a few hours I'm a bit disappointed (as a current f2p player). PvP seems to be strictly for the melee players, they now have dragon armour, weapons and possibly the specs? Yet magers and rangers get no new armour or weapons, :/ And to Nuke Marine, your data is slightly wrong. As a 118, I can only attack from anywhere between 102-136.
  5. Wish I knew that when I chased the guy I was about to kill, even though he probably healed up by then #-o I like the PvP but I don't see it being something I'll do very much, ah well!
  6. Got attacked by a dude in Varrock, 99 str + R2H, I was still trying to walk away for 3 rounds, I only wore green d'hide chaps and top, zerker shield, rune gauntlets, str ammy and rune scimmy and pwned him, but alas didn't get the kill since he could run to the Varrock bank and ate ¬_¬ Needs to be some sort of penalty if you try to run? Otherwise a bunch of people will just happily run along to safe zones. I like the new armours, would love to get hold of a set!
  7. It's just the new pking armour for free players atleast, it's mentioned in the article along with new level 78 members armour for all combat styles and new ancient magicks. *update* If you are lucky, you may come across some severely damaged dragon equipment. These have all of the same equipment bonuses as ordinary dragon equipment (click here to see a list of its bonuses), but can be distinguished by the faded colours. You can wear these for 30 minutes before they crumble to dust. The following dragon items are available in a corrupted state: * Chainbody * Medium helm * Platelegs * Plateskirt * Square shield * Battleaxe * Dagger * Longsword * Mace * Scimitar * Spear
  8. Free players have access to Corrupt Dragon Armour Oh yeah and new Ancient Magicks btw.
  9. Lets wait like 15 nore niutes >< Or another 2 hours and 15 minutes, or tomorrow...or Thursday  It'll come when it comes and with any luck it'll be good!
  10. I see them getting added eventually, but at the moment they are quite rare. Jagex will probably add them to the list when a whole bunch of new weapons and armour come out.
  11. I can't afford membership now after paying off a big chunk of tuition fee soooo I'm now f2p! Thought I'd treat myself to some new outfits: And my 'f2p' bank: I'll use that 800k to buy supplies for some good ol pking :twss:
  12. Well atleast it might get in a couple of extra blows :) Summons are like Tesco: Every little helps!
  13. This is my own opinion but I think familiars will be useful: - The Spirit Tz-Kih can drain peoples prayer (assuming they don't turn on the summon prayer?) - Iron and Steel Titans boost defence against stab, slash and crush. Then there's the special attacks: - Minotaurs deal magic damage and can stun. - Locusts can destroy food. - Praying Mantis binds, causes magic damage and drains prayer. - Forge Regents can unequip opponents weapons or shield. - Spirit Dagannoths can cause range damage and stun. - Lava Titan's drain special attack bars. - Geyser Titan's can do some damage to people in melee armour. Those are the highlights for me, sure a summoner isn't overpowered and maybe they only provide a minimal advantage, but they could be very handy in some combat situations, they can be used as distractions, it'd get annoying having to requip a weapon or getting stunned a bunch of times. There's so many factors that can influence the outcome of a battle now, just because someone's combat level has been 'bloated up' with summoning levels doesn't mean they are going to be a weakling. Someone could be all high and mighty with their 99 str, 99 att, 99 def and HP and whatever else, but someone else could quite easily come along with those same stats and some added backup from a summon.
  14. You forgot theirs a mage in the background with new armour, and who say's that's the only armour.
  15. Because who doesn't love mysterious doors? Mithril Door, Frozen Door, trapdoor by the GE (has the word door in it, so I say it counts), and now this :D (though nothing beat the mysterious random door that was on a random piece of land in the water to the west of the wilderness in classic, lol) Wonder what it will lead to. We'll probably not know for a long time :P You forget the body door in elemental workshop And the two collapsed tunnels in Camdoozal that no-ones mentioned yet And the trapdoor 'scenery' of the runecrafting guild, and the door/gate on Ape Atoll, and god knows what else there is!
  16. May annoy people having campers around safe spots but then it's a waste of the camping persons time when they could be going out and attacking people who can properly defend themself and gain much better rewards. And besides people could easily get around campers by equipping all their gear, logging on a safe world, go to where they want to be and then log in on a pvp world. Camping in RS is just silly.
  17. It's the month of October, Halloween time! Time for some Runescape treats! :)
  18. I was getting a bit bored of RS, may as well camp here whenever I have the spare time to see if that's the case :)
  19. My first whip drop ever at 87 Slayer, it's such a relief to finally get one: 32.7k till 88 Slayer ^.^
  20. I can see the Vampyre race being very close to the Mahjarrat race and I suppose you could say Drakan is an honorary member. What seperates him from the Mahjarrats is that their is an entire Vampyre species, as compared to the Mahjarrats dwindling numbers. I know Lucien has a daughter, but considering how long the race has been on the planet, they haven't spread very much! But Drakan, he has an entire empire of Vampyres, Vyrewatch and Vampires, I'm not explaining it well but I hope you get what I mean. We've encountered a bunch of Drakans minions and they only show basic connections to the Mahjarrat, they don't have anywhere near the same scale of power of Mahjarrats. It could be possible that the Vampyre race are descendants of the Mahjarrat, Mahjarrats breeding with Humans? Icyenes? This would make the Vampyre race much like the Dragons of today which are the descendants of the Dragonkin, watered down versions of elder races. It could be hard to try to make that work since Drakan was around during the late 2nd/early 3rd age?
  21. I think Jagex have always meant Zaros to be the Empty Lord, I think it's a fitting title for a God who has had his power taken from him and given to another, sort of gives the analogy of being emptied. That's how I've always seen it  Edit - After completing that little mini-quest that is. I couldn't possibly of known that beforehand... ah I guess I should go back to my vodka, that makes more sense
  22. I don't recal the elves ever directly linking the Name of the Empty Lord to Zamorak Talking to certain mourners and elves at certain points in quests gets you dialogue tht refers directly to Zamorak as thier lord. I also believe in the comment about their lord sweeping through to camelot with little opposition they mentioned him as being "red" and red is zamorak. All these references clearly imply the empty lord in thier letter is Zamorak and it is logical Zamorak be knwon as the empty lord since he got his pwoer from Zaros the original empty lord Zamorak is the Dark Lord, not the empty Lord:
  23. It's north of Morytania, a npc says it, don't know if it's the main guy at the museum or one of the workers for the boat. But it is most definitely north of Morytania.
