  1. Should be made a requirement for some new high-end weapons. Maybe when they release the eastern lands they can add katana's up to dragon requiring agility levels to wield, just to spice things up a bit. :)
  2. I wouldn't mind having a level 92/95 slayer monster coming out to keep me inspired to continue raising slayer. Although I have no complaints about this new one, I just hope it's somewhat enjoyable to kill, whether it's for exp, drops or whatever other reason. Regardless of whether you think this slayer monster is high or not, don't forget that this is Jagex's game and to them, the level 70 region is high. The chances of us seeing updates to skills in the 90's region are nothing more than godsends, they'll come.
  3. With the latest quest I think we may see the Desert Pantheon getting roped into the Mahjarrat plotline, and potentially being used to stop Lucien, in one way or another. I think it's fairly safe to say that the Stern Judges the Pharaoh Queen mentioned is just another name for the Mahjarrat and she also talks about redemption. Currently the player is an enemy of Amascut the Devourer and through this quest line we could perhaps finally get on her 'good' side. Having the help of some Gods who have experience with the Mahjarrat could be helpful and I think Amascut will want revenge on the Mahjarrat since it was them who helped twist her into becoming the Devourer. Also some extra tidbits not really relating to the overall scheme of things: the ritual used to pass on the Pharaoh Queen into the next life was also used on Akthanakos albeit the 'twisted' method that the Queen mentioned, this is what transformed him into a boneguard. Actually the more I think about it, this ritual that they use could be related in some way to how they affected Amascut - the Goddess of Rebirth, they can allow someone to pass onto another life, return to life when needed, and corrupt and bind them to a form against their will - the boneguard, and who knows what else, their control over life probably enraged Amascut and perhaps threatened her role. If the Desert Pantheon get involved then I think it's safe to say that they will also try to prevent the revival of Zaros too, since they aren't particularly great fans of his.
  4. I think you get it from rummaging the bodies of the dead bandits.
  5. How did you get the second name piece? I have looked all over the top floor of the temple as she instructed but have found nothing. [hide=possible spoiler for other people]Did you talk to Ali again with a ring of Charos after getting the copy of her name?[/hide] Anyway, I did it all and got 100% :) [hide=after quest spoilers]I assume the faceless one's of Itchlarin are in actual fact the Mahjarrat. And it had further talk that when one dies, more appear/grow stronger? And the process of that Mahjarrat who was transformed into a boneguard sounds like the twisted version of the ritual the Pharaoh went through. And it would appear Zaros primarily ruled from Morytania, and it seems to confirm that he wasn't particularly a nice God.[/hide]
  6. So it is :o I guess this means Jagex are starting to focus on one whole storyline albeit from different directions so that they all tie up together near the end, much like how quests lead up to Whilst Guthix Sleeps. Wonder if we could see the bigger parts of the plot near the end of this year :ohnoes:
  7. Intermediate quest, not going to be overly difficult but should offer some interesting little tidbits if this pyramid is pre-Godwars.
  8. it's going to be difficult to recognise people if they change there name every time. :wall: I'm not sure how Jagex will go about implementing it, but it would certainly be nice to get rid of the Dark in my name, I hate walking around in Saradomin gear knowing my name sort of contradicts my alignment.
  9. Meh I guess I should've of posted this  The RSDev bit makes me thing the penguins one is a dev diary, with a Desert Quest coming today/tomorrow. You should also add that they have a project at the moment to allow people to change their names sometime in summer. :)
  10. I was going to post a topic but I assume it would get shut since it's only speculation of an update, but I do believe we'll get a Desert Quest today/tomorrow: Oh and further down it says there's a project over the summer to let people change their names :D
  11. I was thinking about quest guilds last night, i've been wanting something higher than Legends for a long time, I used to always like the thought of a 'Gods Guild'. But lately, thanks to Whilst Guthix Sleeps, I've been thinking the next new quest guild (if it ever happens) would be to join Crux Eqal as a full pledged member, giving us access to some sort of secret hideout. It would offer us a new store with some new equipment. And offer us another bank and training spot much like the legends guild. Ever since the Taverly graphics update, I've hoped we would get the newer Druids robes, rather than the boring white robes we still have, perhaps this guild would give us access to the Crux Eqal Druid robes, providing the best prayer boost in the game, at the cost of offering little or no defence. The Guardians of Armadyl could also get roped into the group too (like some sort of pact brotherhood) and offer to repair the Staff of Armadyl to be used as a new mage weapon, aka, the mage's answer to the Godsword. They could make up some plot that it get's destroyed in a later quest, with one small fragment remaining that get's reforged albeit into a weaker staff and awarded to you. Heck they could even throw in a quarter of a dragon kiteshield being sold at the store, and you have to do god knows what to get the other 3 parts  They could also throw in a high level slayer monster too, something that drops dark boots. I've been fond of the idea of a new guild for a long time, it's sort of nostalgic, we don't have very many oppurtunities for new guilds nowadays and I miss it and Legends guild doesn't feel all that legendary since becoming easier to get into compared to RSC times. Edit - I went completely off onto just discussing my fantasies of guilds! Whoops! So, for titles, there isn't really very many titles that sound better than being a Legend, imo. So joining Crux Eqal and taking the role of a Guardian of Guthix...I think being a Guardian of a God sounds better than just being a Legend
  12. They've done a really good job, I think it looks awesome, looking forward to getting to re-discover Zanaris.
  13. Whats that 1.8mill item called? It's Verac's helm, I had to check it up on the G.E because I actually thought it was Karil's coif! And if it was then that would be bloody expensive
  14. Yeah, but if you can sneak into those worlds right now, you know you'll have all the runite rocks, mage trees, and red chins to yourself. You only have access to Edgeville and the Wilderness on Bounty Worlds I think.
  15. I've always wondered, where is that? It's on top of the roof of a building in Seers village. I think you get access to it in One Small Favour - actually can't remember now  .
  16. It's done, my 3rd 99 : [hide=Large picture warning!][/hide] And: Now to runecraft my cash back.
  17. Good luck on last lv! String jewellery ftw Meh, bursting is nearly as cheap. You will regret getting 99 on anything else than bursting, later on. Trust me, even I do, and I bursted quite a bit, yet I still feel stupid not bursting it all. I've been doing string jewellery because it doesn't distract me from my university work too much. Another two weeks before I can start doing runecrafting and slaying and other stuff.
  18. No uni work to do over the weekend + no money to go out with = me stringing jewellery all day to get a level: 28,215 amulets left!
  19. I'm starting to like the Dwarf Development Diaries, it feels as if we are moving along with the progress of it. It feels more like we are behind the scenes than with the old behind the scenes  Seeing the words Grandmaster Quest made my eyes light up and I can understand requirements just sticking in the 70 range, that'll be OK just so long as the quest proves an actual challenge -with puzzles and strong monsters. I speculate the Dragon pickaxe coming out in the second from last quest. But i wouldn't be too surprised if Jagex makes us wait until the finale. edit - and I was thinking just before I loaded this page that maybe the next quest would be the perfect time to give the dwarves a graphic update and read the diary only to find they will be! It's about time! Fingers crossed that a gnome and maybe an elf quest come out this year so that they get reworked too. Along with a rework of the Gnome Stronghold and Village.
  20. Little things that are quite nice and handy. I have no complaints -except all the Uni assignments I gotta bust out before I can play :(
  21. Getting 99 strength, is just as good as getting 99 Attack or Defense, who care's if it's more popular, if it's something that you wanted and set out to achieve you should feel proud to accomplish your goal.
  22. Ali the Wise after the quest, accumulates all the details about the Mahjarrat storylines.
  23. Poor requirements, easy. But fantastic Storyline that has answered a few of my questions. The storyline definitely made this worthwhile. Being underwhelmed made this better for me
