You can get an extra set if you store your first in a POH. It won't work if you just leave the set in the bank. To be honest, I took the boots with me.When I got the right event, I dropped the boots before killing the zombies.After I got the lumberjack item(sometimes I didn't get an item during the first wave), I picked up the boots.Note:If you don't get a lumberjack item during the first wave of zombies ,pick up the boots and wait for the next wave.If they show up, drop the boots again. Oh a random fact:when I got the lumberjack event I said "Here top top top" and guess what I got as a drop... Thanks for the info guys! I'll consider trying to get a place holder set for it very soon :)

I'm wanting to get more sets, do you have to drop a piece to continue getting drops still? Or can you now get more pieces even if you have the full set in your bank?

Actually thinking about it. Doesn't Castle Wars rewards use a similar system to Trouble Brewing, where you buy it like from a shop, have those prices changed at all?

I could understand your pain there, but honestly I'm very thankful, I got rid of purple naval outfit years ago and regretted it but couldn't cope with having to play through that minigame again, managed to get about 235 POE, and thankfully I kept them! Managed to get the black naval shirt and trousers, and only 15 POE away from the hat!

System Update and you can still do it. I don't see any harm in having an extra set of any item. The main purpose would only be to act like a place holder, I think it's ridiculous we can't get an item several times over, it's just like when you couldn't own a second fire cape, thankfully Jagex realised that was a dumb idea and changed it. If your willing to put in the effort to get an item a second time to act as a place holder then you should be allowed to, rather than having to wait until the one day you do finally die with it in your possession and having to do what you could of done to start with, your still putting the same amount of time and effort into collecting it. I personally cannot stand having to constantly rearrange my bank because Jagex won't allow me to have a second of an item that is not going to give me an advantage over someone else, say for example, a seal of passage. Seriously, what harm can that cause. All it does is become a nuisance for when your sorting out your bank. Now I would understand it not being acceptable if say for example, you could get two Falador shields and use both of them to restore prayer in the same day, that is definitely giving you an unfair advantage and I don't agree with it, but you can't do it, so I think it's perfectly fine. And if Jagex disagree then I bloody will fight it out with them to change their mind! Now some items are in a rather gray area like the God capes, having 2 of the same one should be fine, but is it really fair to have all 3 types? Allowing you to boost the power of all 3 spells, when someone else may only have the choice of one? That's definitely debatable.

I can't get 2 of every god cape :( edit - yes i can.

Best update tbh. Hate having to constantly rearrange my bank because I could never get place holders for those items.

Atleast the Dragon battle Axe has been fixed!

High Detail actually runs smoother than standard detail for me :shock:

One of the main reasons why I never thought we would get night and day in runescape is because you wouldn't be able to tell in Standard Detail (there's no sky, just a big black nothingness) but now that it's been upgraded to Runetek 5 it can now probably support day and night now, so that should make it a little more likely to happen now in my mind. And yes, I imagine the Excalibur has been slightly nerfed, the Dragon Battleaxe isn't working properly, you have to actually be in combat to use the special. I'm sure this is just a bug though.

Oh they will! Atleast I recognise that Runetek 5 and script changes will allow for bigger updates in the future but I bet some people are going to complain that there isn't a new skill/quest etc etc for the past 2 weeks. :roll:

Game engine sounds nice, certain staffs being made slightly stronger for maging is nice too. Don't give a damn about the shops though. edit - new game login screen :lol: edit 2 - You can also turn off the 'cinematic opening' in the bottom left of it.

Absolutely incredible achievement Jard, congratulations on all the hard work! My greatest achievement was finally getting a champion challenge scroll and unlocking 'all' music tracks, years of torment and far too many monsters killed in the process for something so simple, but so hugely satisfying to say I finally did it. If that's exactly how you feel then stop paying. I'm taking two weeks off from membership, going to focus on other stuff.

The final 5 levels for me! But only 2 days membership left, followed by a 2 week break from RS. Guess it'll be a while before I'm remotivated to start training it some more. #-o
