10second hero, you weren't the first to post about the salve ammy upgrade, I posted it a few mins before you and everyone seems to keep forgetting that :P Is it because I have no avatar and sig and rarely post that people ignore me :(

True...but the plate DOES look heavy. The helm, lol it looks like it's just a stone shower cap or something :? doesnt look like it deserves to be heavy at all.

He's still a lil bit further, perhaps 10 mins away? Try to go through passage ways with water decor near like (like fountains etc). You know you're real close when you get near skele mages and a load more traps. Oh may I add that people will most certainly want to keep hold of their salve ammys now. It seems to specifically mention they are the source of being able to use necromancy :) So if summoning/necromancy does come out, that may be a key ingredient. Assuming the book is not telling nasty lies :XD:

You have to kill Tarn, once done, there should be another dooway you can go through to another small room, look at the desk and you'll find the book :) It's an interesting read too.

Just to suggest the helm may already be on the in game guides (i think it's the str one) there is a pic of a chunk of granite...im assuming it's the helm. :P *edit* Why hallo thar granite helm!

how do you find this out? lol Simple, it says in the book anyway :P And also, I sussed it out a lil earlier then him, check further up on page 3 :) And some piccies I guess... I think he talks about the Wyverns so much to try and suggest a link between the two areas and to get people trying to get the granite helm ^_^

If you use the book you get from the room after Tarn with your salve ammy it will boost you're bonus against the undead by 20%... It also seems to have some connection with Skeletal Wyverns... :-k

also to note, granite helm is in the knowledge base :)

Mod Ash has confirmed the shortcut from burgh de rot (is that what's it called) to the haunted mines is just a bug...and he's hoping for a quick fix.

Not only is Guthan great for health, but it also beats B2P for defensive purposes too, it's got a decent range defence for if you were fighting Dagganoths for slayer etc. Guthan is highly efficient Slayer armour :) and it's also FANTASTIC for barrows, by the time i'll of gotten my armour to the verge of breaking, I'll atleast have 5mill + from just bloods, chaos and bolt racks. It's wonderful! I am wanting to get B2P though for when I get back to the Dusties, TC you say it cost's about 900k to get it...errr, fancy telling me roughly how many of each runes that is :) at a rough guess

Is it just me or has the lighting changed too? It seems all just a little bit darker, yet characters seem slightly better lit :S

An old real life friend told me when I first started in about March 2002 that there was a level 99 Wildy and you could fight a level 999 White Dragon. When dragon items came out he then told me that you could make full dragon out of the hides and claws of the dragon. He also told me that on members you could fight lobsters and if you killed them you got their 'casket' (which we thought at the time was what a lobsters exoskeleton is). If you got a knife and used it on the casket you could get: FULL LOBSTER! And it had stats better than rune but worse than dragon. Ah man, I was so gullible back then. I was also told from the same guy to keep hold of all 3 of my halloween masks because they would be worth millions one day. That was the one time I didnt believe him, and sold them all for 80k each that same day... Darn :boohoo:

so the odds are small but its larger than we think :-k Zamarok didnt switch sides, he rebelled and overthrew Zaros, he was still sided with the Majorat. Technically, Zamarok will always be evil since he is the anti of Saradomin and is meant to be part of the balance by Guthix. In a quest it was said that if the balance is thrown then Guthix will more than likely destroy Gielinor. Therefore, it is impossible to get a D chain :o Jagex lie!!! :D

Just to inform you all. The blessed range armours are NEAR EQUAL to the stats of black dragonhide!! The armours are also meant to be quite powerful, so im assuming that the Third Age Warrior is infact, definitely better than dragon. Just info taken from the RS forums
