  1. From my current 73 prayer, 95 is gonna be 30m MORE than i currently have. With my skills and wealth, i cant justify that xD 80 prayer from 73 will cost 20m. is that worth it? 88 herblore is definitely an option i will explore. What method would you use to get from 79-88? I could make 22.5k super energies for 88 and lose ~ 60m. Worth it? I will edit this once i see your edited post regarding slayer :) Regarding the 99 mage/range comment - i would rather not get a 99 unless its a really good one. Call me crazy, but my goal is to get an untrimmed rc cape xD I can justify 95, maybe even 98, but i want to stay away from 99 until i get my rc cape.
  2. What prayer/herblore lvls would you go for? And what method to train? Prayer is pretty obvious, but herblore has many options to train. I might consider getting a bit heavier into combat. What should i get for slayer and summoning? I already have verac skirt, dh top, full slayer helm, fury, zerker - pretty much the basics. what should i get with all of this in mind?
  3. I am a skiller for the most part. Ive never tried boss hunting, nor do i think i have the combat stats for it. How about i rephrase it: if this was your 100m cash pile, what would you do with it?
  4. Hey guys. Ive managed to accumulate 100m, but i dont know what to spend it on. I am open to suggestions! My skills are in my sig.
  5. The smartest move would be to put it into the most costly skill, or one that levels ridiculously slowly. I used mine in prayer - saved me like 9m in bones. Herblore is another good option, perhaps an even better option. If you hate rc, 400k is a huge exp boost. I can get about 20k exp per hour in rc, so you would be saving yourself 20 hours of work with that exp. If you can make 500k+ an hour, rc is the most economicly friendly option. In the time saved, you could get the same materials/exp in prayer AND herblore. Think your way through it so you dont regret it later on. Mining - definitely dont... mining is fast and easy. Doesnt warrant 400k exp Summoning - Decent idea, but i would rank a couple others above it perhaps.
  6. ^^ thats what i was thinking. Everything is rising and falling all over the place.
  7. Hey everyone. With the recent closing of bonus xp weekend, what are your thoughts on the economy? I was also wondering what santas are going to do in the coming weeks. Ive got one and couldnt decide whether i should sell or keep. Any and all information is welcomed :)
  8. How much are wegali unf pots worth each? I didnt know they had much value. Ive been farming them for a week or so now and have got almost 500 herbs.
  9. I miss the good ol' days. Santas were 3m, eggs were 2. Although there are tons of new things to do, the game seemed more fun to me back then. I am just getting back into it after a 3 year break or so. I hate this trade limit more than anything though... BTW: My join date doesnt have a thing to say about when i started playing.
  10. I beat nomad with very similar stats, but a different setup. Heres what i used: Head: Neitznot Necklace: Fury Cape: Accumulator Ring: Archer Ring Boots: Snakeskin Boots Gloves: Barrows Shield: Spirit Shield Body: Black D hide Legs: Black D hide Weapon: Rune c'bow Ammo: 150 Ruby (e), 100 Diamond (e) Familiar: Terrorbird (I used a terrorbird because of my nooby summoning, but since you can use a tort, use it instead) Spec weapon: NONE Diamond Bolts (e) 7 Super restores (or some regulars, but supers makes prayer restore irrelavent) Sara brews in rest of inventory You may say, "what about a spec?" Of all the times i tried specing him, whether with a BGS, claws, dds - you name it, ive tried it- i only landed one solid hit. The small chance of a decent hit against him is small, and honestly not worth the space where you could have another brew. Use ruby bolts till he goes berserk. Be sure to utilize the pillar when he launches his 75 damage attack or when he makes duplicates of himself. Just hide out until they all disappear. Once he goes berserk, make sure your familiar is dismissed so that it doesnt get in the way of sidestepping. Go to a pillar, equip your diamond bolts. Here is where you play a game with him. Step forward one step so he can hit you, step back instantly and shoot him twice. Step forward again so he can hit you, then step back and safespot him him twice. Keep doing this to minimize the number of hits he does to you without him saying "Coward!" and teleporting to restore health. Try this setup if you keep failing, even though you may disagree with it. I tried a lot of the other regular setups, but none worked as well as this. I tried probably 10 times using the others. I succeeded my first try doing this. Good luck though :) BTW: Praying mage is useless. Use eagle eye and 2x hits restore the whole time. When he goes berserk, however, be sure to pray melee the whole time, even though you are sidestepping him.
  11. Waterfiends are weak to crush attacks. So perhaps a crush weapon would be appropriate. A gs or z spear are the best options.
  12. The setup i use works amazingly well. I can finish a task of 150+ in 2-3 loads. I use: Slayer helm/Black mask Fury Karils top/skirt Zamorakian spear (on crush) This is vital to the whole task berserker d boots barrows gloves soulwars cape either no arrows or miths (they drop miths in 90 arrow quantities.) I always pray range and piety for the task. I take along a slayer gem, emergency teleports (house), lunar staff, 1 pure set (4), 7-8 ppots (4), crimson charm (just to guarantee an inventory space) and the rest monks. I cant quite use a bunyip yet, but if i could, it would make you last even longer. Once you pot and pray, just smack those waterfiends. With my nooby 90 str, i can hit 43's at max, and consistent 35s. You may also choose to bring a holy wrench to increase ppoints per dose of ppot. The worst thing you could do is wear melee gear down there. Not only do waterfiends hit with deadly accurate ranged shots, but they also have a mage attack. By praying mage and wearing magic resistant armour, you minimize damage. if you feel that you can last without protect prayers, feel free to try. piety is recommended to speed up the task, which is why the soulwars cape is vital. Good luck :)
  13. Oh, i completely missed the charms part lol.
  14. Just stay calm and time everything right. When you are cutting the roots, cut only until you hear the attack sound, then run like hell. In the second part, just run in circles until the chat notifies you that the thing (cant remember what its called) has been released. Then just stand next to a hole, dig it, and wait. The last part is the easiest, just takes some luck. Just focus on which colour went where, and avoiding the attacks. Just follow these steps and you wont die. I didnt die when i did it, and i just winged it lol.
  15. Just wear good melee armour, like a dh plate with a verac skirt. I would whip and super pot. you should be fine with just monks, but if you get overwhelmed, just pray ranged.

I made spirit terrorbirds until i could do barker toads with my golds, pyrelords with crimson (easy seconds) and something else that i cant recall..., steel/mith minotaurs (when you can do them) with blues, and magpies (i think) with greens. i do these because the seconds are very easy to gather and are relatively inexpensive when comparing the value of the pouch you will be making and selling.
  17. If you wont dk, youll be best of cannoning and/or meleeing regular dags (in waterbirth). How come youre looking for hides?
  18. You would be best off buying them. Better still, you should just craft runes to lvl rather than make talismans. You will waste time by collecting them. Time = money. If i spend 1 hour collecting 100k worth of tallies, i just lost 600k potential profit. You would be best off making money specifically, then just buying them.
  19. Not entirely certain what you are asking here. Your average is correct, apart from the incorrect rounding, but that is negligible. If you plan on gaining 6969140 exp within 3 hours, it really like gaining 2832984 without any multipliers. The exp per hour required to do this, however, is about 950k. Idk what skill you plan on doing, but gaining close to 1m exp per hour at a regular rate would be either rediculously hard, expensive, or impossible. I cant think of a single skill that can do it. If you can though, you are correct.
  20. If you just stay focused, there is no reason that you should. i did it with stats pretty close to yours, but its pretty irrelavent anyways. All you need to do is keep moving, have brews ready in case you choke up, and have super energy restores for the final room where i personally ran for like 5 bloody minutes straight. your hits are high enough that you wont get 1 hit by his attack, which is the only thing changing the simplicity between you and any other person.

They are the Black Mask equivalent for range and mage. And you have 40m, 5m isn't going to cost to much as it helps on many tasks. It helps out on many more if you get 85 herblore. And the ZS/SS is needed for WFS as they are weak to crush and any other attack style isn't as effective. Oh ok, that's cool. I assume it goes into a slayer helm? How much would 85 herblore cost from 74? Is the zspear limited to waterfiends largely?
  22. geesch replied to geesch's topic in Help and Advice
What does a focus and hex do? I still need to get a slayer helm. Other than pouches and stuff, what do I spend 40m on? Why the z spear? A 5m weapon just for waterfiends seems overkill to me. Unless there are other uses for it that I don't know about.

got that too. I have a cannon 2 crystal bows, full karils/4k racks (I hate you jad...), whip, defenders, I'm practically set with the basics. I figured me next step was to move to high end gear like bandos, but perhaps I'm wrong?
  24. geesch replied to geesch's topic in Help and Advice
I still have like 8m or something leftover after the bcp. The thing is, I don't know what to do with the money, so I figured I would buy expensive armour. My setup is exactly as Transcript suggested. If I were to sell my bcp, what should I buy then? I have hundreds of ppots too, so I'm set in that department. Edit: I have a fury and berserker already btw.
