  1. If you are planning on doing any long term bursting, battle robes are a must, imo. The biggest cost will be the runes, and the combination of battle robes and a sol will make your bursting far cheaper.
  2. I have designed my house for the easiest access to the most important parts of the house. Primarily, i use my house for prayer, summ point restore, and my portal chamber. The next priority is my study (both demon and eagle), and then my quest hall for glory. I didnt bother showing my dungeon or upper level, but i truly do like the way the ground floor is laid out. I dont find having a mounted glory in the boonies an issue at all: I seldom use it. I generally just fill up my prayer and go through my canifs portal if i dont have a convenience teleport. The canifs bank is very close to the teleport spot. TPQTQNTUMUNPUQDUUNUYHVMSVUGVaFWMQWRF *note: directly right of my garden is supposed to be a menagerie, but it seems the house planner doesnt have that function yet.
  3. Another option, if your looking for mage exp, go bursting rock lobs. It may not get you to 99 mage but you will gain a crapload of crimson charms as well. Use SoL and battle robes to save money on casts. What he said. There isnt much of a point wire waving steels. Your drops probably wont cover your costs (unless you somehow get a visage) whereas by bursting lobbs, you will get the charms that you need for high lvl summ. Whether you think summoning is worthwhile or not now, believe me, you will wish for it to be higher soon enough. Youll kick yourself over wirewaving drags instead of bursting lobbs.
  4. I agree. 5k ext atks would definitely cover you for a while. once you get that covered, either go to another ext pot, or stick with specs if you want cheap exp.
  5. You can get like 500-600k an hour picking mort myre fungus. without any memb skills, thats about all i can think of.
  6. Ahh, ok. I would still rather pay 1gp/exp more for a useful pot. Just something to consider :)
  7. Fair enough. You might note that once you hit 88, you should do extreme attacks though. They are cheaper and are actually useful. The exp, based on rune wiki, is 28.7gp/exp for spec restores and 28.31gp/exp for extreme attacks.
  8. Thats slow cash though. Farming herbs is a decent plan, though.
  9. If you have a sol and battle robes, you will be set to burst A LOT of charms. I highly advise having both for any prolonged bursting.
  10. Almost exactly what i am doing. Did super atks to 81, brews to 84, spec to 88, then 2.2k of each extreme as you can do them till you have all overload supplies done. At that point, you will almost be 93 herb. From there, you can stew those 2.2k overloads and get 95, nearly 96 herb. Thats what im doing right now, and seems to be a very good plan, imo. Keeps you gaining fast exp while also making useful pots. I was going to do spec restores to 92, but realised that i could be preping for overloads for a little bit more cash, which is ultimately what i want. 2.2k overloads will last me forever :P
  11. Ive done some calcing, and have decided i will make spec restores to 88, 2200 extreme attacks, str, def, mage, and range pots. Those will get me 92, almost 93 herb and will set me up to make as many overloads as i could ever want. Once i make those overloads by stewing, ill be a bit shy of 300k from 96. What do you think? I am currently selling 5.1k papaya and 8.2k super energies, if anyone is interested.
  12. Ok. What sort of lvling plan should i have then? How many of what should i be making instead?
  13. Hey guys. I have got the materials to get to 88 herblore for sure. I decided that i would go all the way to being able to stew overloads rather than just stopping at extreme str. My question is: should i make another 8k spec restores, 1k extreme atk and 1k extreme str pots to get 92, or is there another route i should take? Note: i already have the stuff to do what i listed, but i realised it might not be the best plan. Also note: i dont plan on going to 99 for a while, and dont have much cash leftover right now, but will work on making more. I would love some opinions :)
  14. My vote always lies with rc. Never mine your own ess, and just graahk nats till you get 82 rc, then do double astrals to 91, and double nats beyond that. By the time you hit 91, expect like 150m+.
  15. Took the words right out of my mouth. Finally, somebody who understands opportunity cost! The less time you can spend wcing and more time moneymaking, the better your overall results will be.
  16. I did the exact same. Just go out and grab the stuff you screwed up, just as Monkeyguy said. Pain in the [wagon], but recoverable.
  17. That had nothing to do with anything in this thread.... Didnt read the part about turmoil lol. Point being, not worth the prayer points. Its pretty much just valuing super sets vs. ppots.
  18. If i was going to pray during slayer tasks, which i do, i would be using super pots AND using piety. I would rather spend ppots on piety than have to repot slightly less per task.
  19. If you are looking to spend some points, battle robes are super useful for bursting/barraging rock lobsters. Dragon gloves are also somewhat useful, but i would take a set of robes over those. The robes have a street value of ~15m, btw.
  20. It is being dumped right now (4k). Give it some time before you try to buy any, otherwise youll pay an inflated price.
  21. The thing about superheating is there is a fine line between economic efficiency and time efficiency. I would argue that steel bars would likely be the best method to gain smith and mage exp. This is because you will be spending more time superheating and less time banking. With mith, you get 5 bars per inv, whereas with steel you get 9. Thats almost half the bars smelted per inventory. I wont say that you will make 50% less bars and exp, but I would think that you would get more exp per hour superheating steel due to the reduced time banking. Steel nets you about 70k mage and 25k smithing exp per hour. I am not sure what mithril will get you, but steel is definitely a good candidate. This is theory, because i simply havent superheated mith in years, but it wouldnt shock me for the numbers to support it.
  22. Why spend money on herblore? There's a way to get 100k+ xp an hour and make gp's....wait for it....cleaning herbs! Mindless hours of clicking, but it works. It is a decent way to make money and train herblore, but i honestly dont want carpal tunnel haha. Ive already got the materials, and am 1/3 of the way through it, so its all good. Ill be getting the level in half the time, which will leave me more time to rc for cash :)

The thing is, nobody picks up the oranges - they only pick up the papayas. Oranges are pretty much only useful for maples. There are so many people in this game though, so perhaps a large number have taken a liking to farming.
  24. I have never had a champion scroll before... so based on that, i commend you. Might want to try cropping your pic next time though :)
  25. Thanks :) Im currently spending some of my cash getting 88 herblore for extremes. From 88, ill likely go back to rc and debate getting 92 herblore for overloads once i make back a lot of my money. Ill likely get 88 summ before overloads though. Cant do a whole lot with overloads and no uni.
