  1. We are equal to all users. At this point it is clear YOU are trying to continue the flame war against hex, even AFTER an admin posted on the thread. Any posts that could even be viewed as personal harassment from this point on will be dealt with. As this is the 1st/2nd warning, future incidents will be handled with a temporary ban from the forum. 2. Which one? :P I have had 3 main ones through my career.
  3. Post all your questions! We are not answering them here, we will be having something special for everyone in the future! The questions will be answered in that special thing.
  4. To Whom It May Concern,

    Lulz

    Sincerely,

    Nic

  5. Keep asking everyone! Loving the questions so far!
  6. I think it would be hard to implement a "favorite media feature?" on the forum. One thing that is very similar is the blogging system. You can make a blog for yourself. You can also blog your favorite posts. Go ahead an look around the Blog Section of Tip.It. I think you will like it.
  7. Nice signature?

  8. Just released an announcement regarding this. :) http://forum.tip.it/topic/276088-reminder-signatureavatar-hosting-malware-warnings/
  9. We've recently seen an increase in reports of people visiting our forums and getting malware warnings from browsers like Firefox and Google Chrome. These warnings are caused by signatures and images hosted externally on sites which these browsers consider potentially harmful. First of all, we'd like to stress that visiting a page containing images hosted on these sites does not put you at any extra risk. If you get such a warning, please use the report function so that we can remove the signature or avatar in question. Please note that this will not count as an official warning. We simply remove these signatures and avatars because of the inconvenience they cause to users. While we have no official rule about what sites can and can't be used to host your images, we strongly suggest using a dedicated image hosting site such as Imageshack or Photobucket. By using sites like these, you can prevent your signature and avatar from triggering malware warnings like the ones we have been getting. Thanks! Tip.It Staff PS: :)
  10. stalks the forums looking for lolz.

  11. He has to leave it as a tip as that is the point were it would violate the rules of the forum. Any more than that would have to be in a private conversation. :) Personal addition to the thread: Just be careful with torrents, many of them are untrustworthy. Many people just reinstall the trail version over and over again. :P
  12. The administrative team is going to leave it as is. It was actually lowered from 60 seconds -> 45 when we changed forum software. We have found this time setting to be the best so far. :)
  13. I'll bring it up with the admin team, odds are it will stay the same. The thing is, it has been perfected through years of staff watching the traits of the users. Sadly, the few bad ruin it for the few, it's there to prevent the REALLY bad users. :(
  14. At this point in time, it is only a tool for staff. The reason being is to prevent spam within the PM system. Is your friend on staff?
  15. But he could always of kept the admin title and just not bother to do anything? That's a great point. The thing is, we as admins tell staff that to remain staff, they have to keep active. I was going to be gone for the whole summer, and possibly permanently, so I decided to step down. Lead by example hopefully. :P
  16. <3 Why thank you!

  17. Thanks everyone for the kind comments! For all those unkind, you can expect something in your inbox shortly. :P @ Goonstalf: I'm watching you. :ugeek: Jk. :)
