  1. Hmm, in it sounds like a fairly well thought-out idea, but really it doesw not seem too practical. I mean, aren't there already enough shortcuts for you provided by Agility. I can see using magic, but not prayer, magic would be the most likely skill to be used, but who really needs something faster than running? Not only that, but it would almost completely eliminate the ned for agility and would make crafting runes and such way too easy (Think, flying over the trees faster than running, crafting nature runes).
  2. I dont see much of a difference, and anyways, is this really a suggestion, or just a little piece of information?
  3. Put my name down, do it now, I mean it. If someone wants to have an online girlfriend/boyfriend, they should jsut go on (Insert online dating service here). The only time it really should be acceptable is when you know the person really well and aren't just wanting to become their Boyfriend/Girlfriend because they will give you items. Maybe if that person really is your spouse or boy/girlfriend irl it is acceptable, but you may have no way of proving it, unless you want to mail Jagex a copy of your marriage certificate.
  4. Yes, it's true, but i can't seem to put my finger on what's wrong.. Hmm, maybe it's the whole non-medeivle fact, but then again runescape already threw that away with POH's... To me, it seems as though they didn't throw away the idea with POH's, becasue the house's feature nothing that is not medeivel, other than the sinks (unless of course they running water in the 1400's-1600's). Also, There was mention of the fact that since there is a steam-powered cannon, why not have a steam-powered train in the Tip.It Times article, "It's Getting Better All the Time!". Tha answer to this is simple, Runescape should be kept as simple as reasonable and should generally follow the technology of the 1400's-1600's. No electricity, no gunpowder, no fancy technology such as laser beams, oand nothing that would never have been seeen in that era, excluding of course, the steam-powered cannon, that big smelting machine in Keldagrim (Can't remember what it's called), and any other subtle technologies that would possibly require a historian to discover that it does not fit.
  5. *points at the thousands of autoers cutting yews*
  6. Trust me, I would if I could, but I'm F2p at the moment so unless they had a hidden update that let F2pers cut magics, I can't.
  7. I currently am trying to make some money in order to make sure that when I become a member (which will be in a few days) I will not simply go through all my money in a few days trying to do all the quests and skills and minigames. I would also like to make 1 mil, which would be my first mil. My stats are: Attack:62 Strength:60 Defence:60 Health:62 Ranged:49 Magic:57 Prayer:44 Runecrafting:50 Woodcutting:75 Crafting:43 Mining:60 Smithing:53 Fishing:56 Cooking:53 Any help is apprecieted and I have 450k to start off with. Also I plan on reaching 70 fletching almost immedietly after becoming a member. I have almost all the supplies needed, (logs to get to oaks, oaks to get to willows, willows to get to 70)
  8. No, Touch-screen laptop+52" plasma= ownage, especially if 52" plasma is High Def. Off-Topic: All this talk about XBox, and Ps2 and all other consoles got me thinking, webcam + digital imaging=animated you. Just have to go through a process that programs all the actions (I know its impractical), along with a screening process to get rid of obcenities, and then viola, like looking into a blurry mirror. I know that this would probably make the game run slower, so there should then be 3 versions to rs2: High detail, low detail, high detail with animated persons.
  9. Yeah, I think that most of us know that already. So, how about telling those who haven't done the quest yet how to get 2 or more? My understanding is that it's basically: 1) Get lots of blurite ore. 2) Get lots of redberry pie. 3) Give ore and pie to Thurgo and get the sword, then drop it. 4) Repeat step 3 until desired number of swords has been reached and then pick up all of the swords. 5) Go to squire and drop all but 1 sword. 6) Give sword to squire to complete the quest. 7) Pick up all of the swords on the ground and bank 'em. The key step is #5. I read that if you don't do it right, the squire will take all of your swords :( I haven't made a newbie character to try it though. quote] Dragn said that you cannot get anymore copies after the quest, but you can get them during the quest as you explained, but you need 2 iron bars per sword you want made along with 1 blureite ore. Not only that, you only need to give Thrugo a redberry pie once, after that, he will keep on making you swords as long as you have not completed the quest and you do not have any weilded/in bank/in inventory.

Rise Against-Runmors of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exagerrated (Soory if thats mispelt, song titale i ahve only goes to 'been') Streetlight Manifesto- A Moment of Silence or Everything Goes Numb Can't decide which one #-o So hard to pick between my two favourite bands.... I'll just go with Simon and Garfunkle- Mrs. Robinson (Sorry if i mispelt that, never seen the band name)
  11. Sweet, first time I've ever heard of someone other than myself that listens to Streetlight  The Good Left Undone-Rise Against
  12. I agree with your concept of the dialougue, but what, my (possible)friend is wrong with the Da Vinci Code? And also if they did come out with a movie, it would just be a crappy little kiddy movie that was mean to be appropraite for four year olds, so it would be a cross between LOTR and Pokemon :-X and would lean more towards Pokemon =; No Thanks
  13. Lol. I just hope that squirrel doesnt decide to get an account on Runescape :ohnoes: The next day.... OMG!!!Rapid Archer squirrel on a rampAHHHHHHHH!!!Run for your life!!!!!
  14. Rune Battle Axe, Rune Full helm,Rune Kiteshield, Rune Platelegs, DF Shield, and nothing else. Thank God, I mean Jagex, for woodcutting. wouldve had mithril if it wasn't for yews/willows. Because then i wouldn't have had Full Adamant which a level 90 i believe traded his full rune for with me : . Oh and if you were that kind player, Thank you so much, it was and still is, much apprecieted.
  15. Best item= Lederhosen hat Best Outfit= Lederhosen hat, Mime shirt, Zombie Pants, Mime boots OR Full Zombie with no mask and Skull Sceptre This is coming from a F2Per so if i had to choose members it would probably be what nts1 posted or full dragon. If dragon could be trimmed  then it would be Zamorak trimmed dragon
  16. I too agree with the idea of Courtesy Week, but it should not be for only a week, try Courtesy Lifetime. You should always be courteous, even when you are attempting to, in basic terms, tell someone to !@#$ off. And this shouldn't just apply to the game, it should apply to your entire life, except in competetive sports, where it is called sportmanship. Think Just what would happen if the entire world was as courteous as common sense would allow for their entire lifetime. This would cause global effects, but not negative effects, try maybe the most positive effect imaginable, wars would stop, robberys, murders, rapes, and other misdeeds too. And of course world peace would eventually settle O:) . (Sorry I make it sound like I'm in a Beauty pageant and was ased what I would change about the world if I could)
  17. That is a very good article  but sparks a question: Why do we have a rants section if it only generates negativity towards the game and Jagex. I know it allows the players to vent their frustration, but the only rants that really should be allowed should be on the topic of macroers and cheats who do not play the game fairly or maybe those players who are incosiderate and do not cheat but ruin the game for others. NOT aspects of the game that are meant to be there. I mean, hey, if those aspects were non-existent, such as the chat filter, the game would be ruined and desicrated because some player had a problem with it. If you don't like something that you choose to do, don't do it. Also if you choose to do something and one thing frustrates you but the rest of it doesnt, just ignore it, it's makes logical sense. Oops, looks like most of that could belong in the Rants section #-o
  18. Actually, the bolts (at least bronze and probably up to addy/rune without gems/barbs) are non-members to use, but not of course make/enchant. I found this out when someone was trying to sell 'rare' arrows. I go to see just what kind of s**t this is, and what do ya know! I see a couple of bronze bolts in the trade window. So i knidly telll the player that these bolts are not arrows, nor are they rare. Also there are new croassbows (bronze to rune) Also, I think jagex just saw the crossbow section of the ranged skill badly needed an improvement (with only two crossbows (normal/pheonix), and four types of bolts (normal/opal/pearl/barbed), I think this addition may prove to be welcome among some of the rangers, especially with the ability to to drain health or prayer from an opponent, except for zombies. Not only that but the cross bows link fletching and smithing and magic alot more, demanding that a player needs to master a wider variety of skills to become succesful.
  19. uhh sell that pure ess and then you are 1/10th of your way there. Then cut 1k yews to get another 300k ,4/10th of they way, and buy coal, as much as you can, which is about 2k. Then mine 1k iron and smelt 1k steel bars. Finally, sell the steel bars for 600 each to get 600k and 6/10ths of the way there and repeat but with 3000 coal and 1500 iron to get 900k. Then just do whatever you think would be best to get the 100k thats left and you have your 1mil. If you want to keep going over 1mil, instead of getting that 100k in any miscellenious way, just keep buying, mining, smelting, selling, and repeating. You can also buy the iron ore instead of buying it, but this weilds less of a profit. I know this may be a more F2P approach, but this is what spawns from the mind of a F2per
  20. If you already make 2mil a day, why try something else, unless of course you are getting bored? You would need to make 500k+ an hour to match what you make (assuming you only play for 4 hours, which is a substantial amount regardless). Just do what you want, and if its making money no matter what you do, then stick with what you already do to make 2mil a day. Or if you like somthing else, do that.
  21. I'm level 75 and i only need 200k at the worst of times so what does one such as your self need 1 million gp? Don't you realize that is probably a goal most people below 70 and some above (such as my self) have never reached? And by the way... 101 1 hp 42 agility 8 herb 4 theivin 27 craftin 5 fletchin 9 slayer 1 mining 21 smithing 30 fishing 19 cooking 21 firemaking 28 wudcuttin 47 and farming 1 what does the 101 1 mean? Also it might be easier to read if it was either vertical like this: atk: str: def: hp: etc, I did not mean for my first statement to offend you in anyway, just curious as to your reasons for obtaining 1mil gp. And BTW, one of the quickest ways is probably to mine pure essence (the way i see it). You need just as much as you would iron, except banks are closer and you only need to click once to mine a whole load.
  22. Good advice, I think i will take it. Even though I've had an unpleaseant experience trying to craft air runes (50,000 essence without runners*shivers*) Also for anyone that told me about sursing, I tried using it just to get a few thousand xp to get 55 magic, and it is not only slow, which I'm fine with, but it requires almost full attention, meaning i cannot browse forums to alleviete my boredom. But thanks anyways, I know you were trying to help.
  23. Edgeville=2 Fally=One immedietly southwest of the southern entrence, and two east of that tree, but the two are about a screen and a half apart.
  24. Look closer at the spined armour chart that shows what you need... Piece of Armour Items needed Spined helm Dagannoth hide x1 Circular Hide x1 Coins x5000 Spined Body Dagannoth hide x3 Flattened Hide x1 Coins x10000 Spined Chaps Dagannoth hide x2 Stretched Hide x1 Coins x7500 Daggs drop all the types of hides needed to make spined armour, which includes flattened hides.
  25. Right now I am trying to get my rune crafting from level 48 to 50. I would also like to use the runes I craft to raise my magic to 60. I am crafting body runes so i can use curse to get my runecrafting to that level, seeing as they give the most F2P experience. right now if i were to craft mind runes instead, i would need to craft about 600 more rune essence into mind runes then i would into bbody runes. I am looking for the best, most efficient and easiest way to get runecrafting to 50 and magic to 60. And by the way, I would need to cast 5000 fire strikes versus 4000 curses in order to achieve these levels. Not only that, but I make 2 body runes per essence and 4 mind runes per essence. Thank you in advance for your contributions.
