More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
When you defined the 3 types of players, you forgot 2 or 3 types, which are combinations of the three you listed. First off, there is the casual gamer. He/she does everything, from quests to merchanting to skilling to pking to messing around with friends to doing organised events. If it's in the game, he/she has done it. This uses up a massive amount of bank space (For a F2p'er). This person always has a full bank. This person has no goals but to have fun and I call them the ADD players, they can't devote themselves for longer than a half hour. They won't focus on any skill, they just play as long as they are happy. The comes the person who uses merchanting to provide for pking and skilling. This person will marchant so that they can raise their skills, then once they reach a skill goal they will pk until they've made back their expenses or lost so much that they have to merchant again. Then the cucle repeats itself. these people are basically skillers, but will ususally focus on skills such as crafting, range, mage runecrafting, smithing, firemaking and the other skills that use resources instead of producing them. Finally comes the former P2p'er, which is more of a secondary type than anything. They have an unruly amount of items in their bank and have no clue what to do with them. Do they wait until they become a member again? Do they drop any members items? Those are the only two options they have, either drop or wait. If they decide to wait, then they will just focus on melee or pking. If they drop, then it all depends on what type they primarily are and if they will become a member in the future. If they don't become a member in the future, they go on as a F2p'er normally would. If they plan on becoming a member again, they probably stock up on resources, maybe get those last few levels so they hit the ground running once they become a member. That part is also in itself another type of player, because it could also be a F2p'er who has never been a member but has decided to make the jump to P2p'er. Love the idea, mostly because I could really use the bankspace. The only other option to solving the F2p bankspace problem is become a member for the month, stock up on every F2p item you can, then go back to F2p. Only problem then is that you have to always have 2 of every item in your bank to hold the spot, meaning that if your a merchant who deals with rares, you'll need to buy a bunch of rares and also then you cant buy any rares without becoming a member again.

@ Construction Guild @ (includes lots of graphics)
I like the dragons, you should just stick with the violet and gold, but change the violet's name to crystal, but leave appearence the same. The crystal (Formerly violet) drops a magic crystal (Or whatever it's called) 1 in every 200-400 drops and maybe something else instead of 100 gold ores. And the dragon hide is called crystal dragonhide for level 90's with a much heavier magic defence (Maybe even a high magic attack bonus too). And how does a tree ent drop marble bricks? Maybe make marble golems in the limestone quarry.

World 16 Air Company - Calculator
If you pay 2k to runners for 25 ess and you buy ess for 30gp each (Not sure if that's the market price), sell airs for 15gp each (Again, unsure) than you need Rc level 55 to actually make a profit. BTW, it costs 110gp per ess to use runners, paying 30gp each for runners and 2k per 25 ess (2000/25=80 80+30=110) Just for those who dont get the cal to work. Also, what did you type the source code into.

To go back in time and get rubber chicken to spread mayhem upon the autoers  P.S. Also would like to get my old Yofreddie account back. Damn 12 year old stupidity and that old 'The block your pass' scam. They really should block your pass.

Tip.It Times Presents: Growing Pains
I agree that most of the younger players can be EXTREMELY immature, but sometimes the older players can be even more immature. 20 year olds are the ones that do THE most idiotic things I have ever seen, however I'm sure that alchohol is somewhat involved. IMO, three quarters of Runescape is made up of kids. Not adults or even youths, but kids. This would be alright if these kids were mature, but maybe 1 out of 10 is mature. These kids are the ones that use 1337 speak and have names like S3x pl0x or other things like that. I know half of what i just say is completely obvious, but that doesnt matter. What does matter is that Runescape should be aimed back at the 20 year olds, or even just the mature people. Make immaturity a crime and end this endless onslaught of immature, baby-sat, little kids who need a parent just to log them on.

Future of the german servers..
Or you could not be lazy, hop to an english server, and solve it there. I myself find that I have to hop from German -> English if I want something that requires me to buy it from the black market I meant that that would deter some players because they cant answer the mysterious events, such as the mysterious box, and maybe get stuck o the world or have to log out and go to an english world. Also, I think i clearly expressed my opinion that if you can't answer the mysterious box, you shouldn't be able to log out, even if you are close the window. It's like the after effect of attacking someone, but permanent as long as you have a bow in your inventory.

Is luring an acceptable practice?
IMO, most lurers will lure for the discontinued items that are worth millions of gp to players, yet only a couple gp to a general store. These items really should be considered priceless, yet if you have different items that are priceless, then they have comparable values, which means a phat is worth more than an easter egg, a certain colour item is worth more than another, and these comparable prices are updated a few weeks/months after the item has changed market value. This however will certainly jack up the prices of these rares, a major downside IMO compared to the amount of people lured for rares. Actual gp should not have an individual value at death, but a total value, so that if you're most vaulable three items total 1.5mil and you're carrying 5mil of gp, you keep only the 5mil. This will also work if someone is supposedly selling you something for 3mil and the item is really worth 5mil.

Stats on Low levels with Fire Cape? What are they?
I believe his full name is Muggiwhplar (Maybe a letter off) And you would need 43 prayer for protect melee for the lower levels that melee you.

best way to smith?
correct me if i'm mistaking, but isn't the mining guild for 60+ miners, or has jagex changed it? 60+20=80 Therefore, 80>60. Any further questions?

Runecrafting Airs
Hmm, seems strange how you would provide the ess. Even if you paid only 2k each run and runners provided ess, you'd be paying 80ea for ess. That means I can get 127 runs*25 ess each run*5 airs per ess* 12-20 gp per air=190,500-317,500 gp profit. That means I'll lose ~40k at the least. Hopefully I can find someone selling ess for 20-25 gp each, if not, I'm mining about 3k of ess. Time to go ess mining....

siggies
I'm sure if we wait a month or so someone will make a sig that updates at the press of a button, like what was suggested by Jagex/Andrew

Runecrafting Airs
Do you have to buy ess for that or do the runners provide the ess.

Runecrafting Airs
I was looking into crafting air runes with runners since I've had a bad experience crafting 25k ess into airs (Without runners, ugh). I currently have 55 Runecrafting and was just wondering if I should. I'm not sure yet whether or not I'll mine the ess or buy it, depends on how much money I can get for my bank. Also, I need to know whether or not anyone is willing to run for me. You need to supply ess but I will give 5 airs per ess and eventually 6 if i get that far. If not I will just go to world 16. I only have 350k max. cash available and 5k airs in bank. That means I can buy about 10k ess (From what I've seen at the marketplace they go for 30ea) but I won't have anything left for runners. Since I've only just come back from a long break I need to know whether world 16 runners unnote your ess or give you ess they have bought. There, that should make more sense. I was a bit brain dead after reading alot of topics.

I will hate myself for saying this..
if u had a classroom with 40 kids....the 39 kids would be WoW players and only 1 kid would be a runescape player.... Actually it would probably be more like 3 WoW subscribers in a school of 400 kids and then the janitor playing Runescape Think... 8 million people out of a world population of atleast 3 billion (Unless of course i was given the power to make some 'changes' )

Any cases of Extreme Luck?
Luckiest thing that has ever happened to me was when I was a noob (Still hadnt done dragon slayer) some level 70 or something traded me his full rune for the full addy I was wearing. I'm pretty sure I kept everything but the plate, which i sold, and used that 50-60k to but a rune b axe and finish dragon slayer.

Future of the german servers..
Theres one thing everyone's over looked: the random events like the mysterious old giving you the box. Most English players on the German servers will be screwed if you get this. the only way to get around this is translate square, triangle., into German and remember what they are in German. If not, then the boxes will just start piling up until they completely fill your inventory. Just a question that regards what I just said, can you log out with the mysterious boxes in your inventory. If you can't, that's good, if you can, you shouldn't be able to.

Sony plans to cut PS3 cost
XBOX Live does own, and I only play it at friends'. 360 emphasizes on XBOX Live, which is why they are so succesful. Like alot of people here have said, PS3 is pretty much PS2 in High-def with a $500+ price tag. Also, granted I'm from Canada, sending only tens of thousands of units to a country with population 32 million (quite small compared to the U.S., albeit) doesn't exactly help to sell units and raise popularity.

fighter torso: further degrading player killing
Here is how I think, albeit me being a non-member, an item should be considered for the status of non-tradable: 1- Does the item mark a very significant acheivement, e.g. Skill Capes, Legends Cape, Fire Cape 2- Is the item from a holiday drop, excluding the current rares 3- Is the item only used to it's full potential during a quest and 4- does the item provide outlandish bonuses, cheaply available only after a difficult acheivement I know that not being a member severly lowers what I would know, seeing as the most i likely would know is from what is expressed here at Tip.It and that which is given by the Knowledge Base.

*** REMOVE TELE FROM WILDY ***
Teleing makes pking fun. It gives you that desperation to kill your opponent before he realizes you will kill him and he teles. Without it, its just like regular training, but more rewards, and frankly, if thats all pking becomes, I'll stick with the creatures of Runescape, not someone with feelings on the other end.

Macroers.
I guess you don't see that macros are automated programs running all the time, gaining experience and resources? This wouold be a quick fix annyways, like putting a bandaid on a leaky dam. Eventually, like the ess split, macros will just explode into the rest of the worlds, and even before that they will have already been in those worlds.

May i ask you people to post illegal ad - thoughts here?
I was just wondering about that too. I don't mean to seem like I doubt Tip.It, but you guys say you uphold the Rules of Runescape, yet this site technically encourages the breaking of rules, with the illegal ads promoting realworld item trading and what not. I really am quite close to reporting Tip.It to Jagex, but only if nothing is done and something happens to push me, such asthis thread being locked.

luring..in world 155 im sellng wip for 700k in 55 wild*wink*
And be rid of a couple of beggers while we're at it. Yet I do remain a pessimist. Luring is like the whole switching the item at the last second, and the other player ignores the second trade window. It really is perfectly legit, just hated. The fault lies in the victim for being fooled so easily or being too impatient.
