Some interesting statistics
So, what, you expect a frech off the boat level 3 player to skip all of the training and head straight for the Greater Demons? Quite interesting really, it is actually a fairly good thing that you did not go to lumbridge bank or where the death spawn is, else it would be altered very much. I am surprised though that the median/mean for fally is only 50 and that varrock beats it out. By the way, it would be better if you did this across all of the F2P worlds. It takes time, but the world does affect the outcome. What I'm saying is that most of the averages for world 1 would [bleep]e because of the merchanting and the fact that because the world is almost always full, the onbly players trying to get in would be the ones with a reason to get in. Mostly that would be high levelled players who know about the mnerchanting and want to buy/sell something valuable.

Your Dream Band
I've already found the near-perfect band (For my preferences). It's Streetlight Manifesto. If they had a few slower songs they would be perfect, but I think it's hard to write a good, slow ska song,

- More HARD f2p monsters
First of all, you said you want a monster to train on. There are quite alot of monsters to train on. For some reason everyone thinks that training on a high-level moster is better than a low-levelled one. That is quite wrong, ignoring drops. The only reason a high-levelled monster would be wanted is for a challenge or the drops. If you ask me, you can go pking if you want either of those. That means that xp is what everryone should be after. Probably the best way Jagex can give F2P and P2P another way to gain xp is that you gain xp for attacking other players.- âš¿~RuneScape User Control Panel~âš¿ (READ BEFORE POSTING/FLAME)
Isn't that pretty much Jagex giving us a bot to use? P.S. Wrong forum- Safe-ing
The point of Player Killing is to kill another player (You know you like my inferring skills), however if the other player doesn't try to protect themselves, it's just a massacre, without the chainsaw. Besides, if you eat, you can't fight. Anyways, some people don't run after they eat all of their food. What's so bad about running anyways? Do you run from a moster if it's about to kill you? I do and I don't see any difference between running from a player or running from a monster*. Either way, they're trying to kill you. *Only under special circumstances will I not run, whether it be that I have no chance of getting away, I agreed to a Death Match, I have nothing of value, I am facing somone who cannot hit high, I can just pray to protect my items, I only have 3-4 items, etc- More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
If anyone knows a j-mod (I'm not talking about IRL, just if you happen to see one) I think it would be a good idea to invite them to one of the rallies. It would be better toinvite them to the third or fourth one, just to make sure everything is good first.- SoS Safespots.
I can't think of a real "safespot" but you can just get one of the pile of bones (The decorative ones) inbetween you and the ankou. Other than that, I'll just look right now.- Barrows items at 0, why?
It's not to prevent drop-trading. I am just assuming here, but since you can only trade at 0 or 100%, they must appear that way. Lets say you use your barrows armour a bit, and instead of going to get ti repaired, you get the smart idea that since barrows armour is only tradable at 0 or 100%, when you drop your armour, which is above 50% or something, it should go to 100%. If this worked then you would have a loophole to repairing barrows armour. Also it is so that others can pick it up if you die.- The positive effects of playing Runescape
There are amny things, some people could have learned/practised advanced computer skills creating fan websites like Tip.It. Then Theres the interactions through forums. Event planning, bank organisation, creativity fed through the Suggestions forum, a way to vent some anger through the Rants forum. My favourite would have to be Tip.It. We would not have this wonderous contraption had it not been for Runescape. I could name endless advantages, the weight of which vary depending on the person. A physically active person would say that it's geeky or boring, while someone who is shy would like it because of the anonymity of the game. "One man's garbage is another's treasure."- What would be the most useless item to have irl?
Thats called a stick- Jagex considering runescape for a console release.
I think it could be very much like the curent version on the Xbox 360, especially with the keybord support. Then Xbox Live is already set up and is extremely good.- Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Doing this would have the same effect as the rune essence update. Instead of getting rid of the autoers, it moved them from a resource that your ability to collect it was unreliant on competition to a competition-heavy resource. If there were now yews, F2P'ers would be hurt two fold. First of all, no more yews. Second of all, coal/lobby&swordfish fishing would be swamped. Then what, take out coal? Then the conomy would drop, and IMO, if F2P falls, P2P falls.- LVL limit for becoming Member
It would not solve anything. All that would be needed to happen was the autoer is programmed to reach that level before they are made a member. Aynways, this would restrict the number of players becoming members, as little as it would, reducing profits for Jagex. They would probably not want that.- picture of dragon full helm?
Looks somewhat like a red Dag head, just downsized. Anyone else think that? Besides, I think it looks decent.- 99 Major Acheivements in Runescape [Organized]
I think that the "Completed Stonghold of Secuirity" acheivement should be changed to "Obtained Skull Sceptre from Stronghoold of Secuirity". Anyone can Complete the Stronghold, but it is quite a bit harder to kill Ankous and Catablepons to get their Sceptre pieces.- Brainstorming Session: Elminating autoers from coming back
If there is a sure-fire way of getting rid of an incredible amount of autoers, however there is a backlash on the legit players, use it. While the backlash will be complained and whined over, the absence of autoers will be very much worth it. Unless this way is something drastic like removing yews, don't use it. However if it's just like putting the accounts per IP cap on, use it.- 200M Experience In A Skill - The New 99?
i disagree.if someone but a bill and a half into construction then it wouldnt take aslong as you think, construction to level is incredibly quick with larders yet runecraft and slayer arent quick.someone could spend all that money on it just to show that he can.doubt that anyone will but you never know You are right, however Runecrafting makes you money. That means that unless Jagex decides to ruin Runecrafting even further, someone will keep on Runecrafting, earning experience. Eventually they will get 200m xp. Slayer is the skill I forgot about. Slayer will only get a 200m if, like with construction, someone decides they want to get that one 200m. And yes, I know construction is fast xp, however who would really want to waste a couple billion just to get a 200m, other than somone looking to max out their stats. Once someone does reach that mark, it is a sign to Jagex to increase the skill cap. Back to Slayer, it is the skill that you only need to get a certain level to kill a monster (Once you get level 90, you can kill Dark Beasts and you don't ever need to touch slayer again). You don't need to be on an assignment to kill a monster, you just need to get the level. Then your leveling is slow and you are not able to focus on a single monster, you kill a random monster. Essentially, I still hold the opinion that, unless some bored, rediculously rich player gets the idea to get the construction 200m, construction will be the second last 200m, slayer possibly never seeing the 200m. I'm still holding out on that xp ratio- Items and Death
I was just about to ask how you tell... Then I realized this was the Behind The Scenes, not an actual update.- While Playing Runescape
I like you taste in music : Anyways, I usually listen to Rise against, Streetlight Manifesto, or just use party shuffle on iTunes. Pretty much the same thing I do when I play Gears of War (Rise Against has to be the best music to play Gears to). And anyways, like someone has already mentioned, I don't listen to music while playing Runescape, I play Runescape while listening to music and browsing these forums.- What after Rune dragons
Then you slash away for another hour and get a Dragon Plate :wall: With the release of the Dragon Full-Helm, Arrows and Darts, I really think the Dragon Plate is looming on the horizon. Or, at the very least, the Kite. Adamant Dragons get Kite/Claws Rune Dragons get Kite/Plate Seems quite simple, no?- 200M Experience In A Skill - The New 99?
The one skill that I thnk will never get a 200m is constuction. It is the one skill that you cannot turn a profit, really. In every other skill you either use constantly (Hitpoints, Attack, Strength, Defense, Prayer, Ranged, Magis) or you make a profit off of. even though Runecrafting may be slow experience, but as long as someone makes good money off of it, it will slowly reach that 200m mark.constuction, on the other hand, offers no profits from focusing on raising it past level 99. The only way you will get a 200m in the is if someone constantly changes the layout of their house, has ALOT of money to burn and pretty much never quits. THe only way we will see a 200m in Construction is if someone really wants it and has billions of gp to spend. BTW, what if the best gp to xp ratio for construction?- f2p bank space guide v. 1.1 pictures coming soon
Very good =D> Another thing you might want to add is that both members and non-members alike have a sort of wardrobe (Like the one possible to create using Construction) for most of your holiday items. He's named Diango. Unless you use a holiday item constantly, you should just destroy an item, essentailly "banking" it with Diango. Those holiday items can take up quite a bit of room (At least one row for those hats and scarves, then the R Chicken, zombie head, easter ring, chicken outfit, etc.). You should add that into your guide. That and Capitolization. Also, I think I might just make you some pictures right now. - More HARD f2p monsters
