  1. What an idiot, the only way that helps the environment is the money from selling the hummer. What it should be, is her auctioning off the chance for someone to take a sledgehammer to her hummer, or someone to hammer her
  2. I'm attending if someone hugs me. And, just to contribute, already, here's an E-hug. : Oh, and there's a link to Juan Mann's (The guy who started this) site for free hugs, from the youtube video.
  3. First of all, I truly did not see any truly unsanitary methods, or something like that. It does not prove anything against the major food companies in terms of health. What it does show is animal cruelty. Quite frankly, that is just meant to scare someone away from a fast food resaurant, simply because one meat processing plant processes their meet in that fashion. And also, I strongly doubt that is how meat processing plants operate. They would use automation, because it would be a) too expensive and B) too lengthy to cut up any meat used by hand. There's just too much of a demand for fast food restaurants world-wide to be met by manual seperation of meat. So basically, that video's full of crap.
  4. My years had a good start so far. Despite the fact taht some [developmentally delayed]ed grade 10's tried to "initiate" me. Basically, their concept of initiation is getting you on the ground, then kicking you. I would have accepted an actual initiation. They tried to trip me, but I'm just too much of a tank for 3 grade 10s :XD: They did finally trip me after a while, but after they flipped me, im guessing unintentionally, I got a weak kick, which I didn't mind because getting flipped didn't hurt at all, and was actually quite fun (I know, it's pretty weird, but it really was fun, although they still are [developmentally delayed]ed for not initiating me the way you're supposed to, tsk,tsk :shame: ) And my classes are: 1st period: Math 2nd period: P.E. 3rd period: French 4th period: Music (Strings) And classes start at 9 a.m., ends 3:15, with 80 minute classes.
  5. Here's my problem with your topic: you're just saying that atheists are huge hypocrits. I consider my self atheist; I believe that the creation of the universe to have been impossible, because to create something, you need to start off with something, and to need something that created that, and that, and it just goes on forever. Basically, I have narrowed down a theory on religion. Religion, ANY religion (I consider science a religion, just one that sways from the beaten holy path), is just a means for us to understand why everything is the way it was or is. Science serves jsut that purpose, and the only goal of science is understanding. Not trying to ask a God to forgive your sins, or anything else any other religion asks of you. Science is just the base of every, single religion, understanding. However, religion also has a secondary base, which is hope. Hope is the one thing people need, and if they find hope in anything, whether it be a common religion or a crackpot idea, I'll respect their choice and leave them be. However, if they find nothing to hope for, then I will try to give them hope, unless they refuse my help. Basically, if someone has no hope left in their life, I'll understand someone trying to introduce hope to them. To quote some saying I've heard "You can lead a horse to the water, but you can't make it drink". Wow, I definitly got side-tracked there >.<

Hell no, its the rest of the class that's at fault. You cannot control bodily functions like sneezing, fart or yawning with ease, and you did not do anything intentionally. Sure, you might have been the one who farted/sneezed and made everyone laugh, but they can stop themselves from laughing, you can't stop yourself from farting.
  7. I'm a somebody! And that is definitly speedofsound, and suzi, and revenga.[/hide]
  8. Reading the last one or two hundred pages of the Amber Spyglass by Phillup Pullman. That book is just... Oh, and you have to be listening to Streetlight Manifesto the whole time, reading it outdoors in a forest to get the full effect.
  9. Basically, something that gives me motivation to think, to stay in my paradise. Think about it, if you had everything you could ever want, what else is there to strive towards? That's why war produces such technology, there is a motivation to get things done, fast. But honestly, right now life is my paradise, I mean, I'm young, I'm healthy and my family is well off. I essentially tied for top of my grade with three other people, I have the right amount of friends, and I have many things to work towards. Basically, I don't have a paradise, but if I had to go to a "paradise" of my choice, I still wouldn't change a thing about the world I'm in right now. Sure, we have war, our environment is slowly dieing, but that produces great minds and better people. P.S. Hume, I owe you one, that is one of the wisest things I have read on these forums.
  10. I do not think I am the centre of the universe, I think that a super massive black hole is the cantre of the universe. I am conceited at times, however this question only came from a chain of thoughts and I thought i would be a good topic for discussion. Basically, I was either wrong, based on the the amount of people waying I should just stop thinking about it, or I was correct, based on the fact that in the space of a couple hours, this thread gained four pages of posts.
  11. Don't you have anything better to do than waste your life questioning why I wonder if we really exist?
  12. Thank you, that basically smotthed out alot of things for me. Basically, I realize that we are stuck like this and I wont quesiotn it anymore. Also, I only created this thread because I thought I could generate some actual discussion that was the quality of Sere's post. And to all those telling me to stop thinking about this/that it is pointless, once was enough! I get the idea!
  13. Again, im not going to dwell on it, I'm just wondering at the moment. Your kidding right? Why would I create a thread about this if I didn't care?
  14. I'm not worried at all, or that could just be the fact taht I know I'll be bigger than most students at my high school (Woot, go anyone taller than 6 feet/72 inches/182.88 centimeters/1.8 meters!). Also, for homework, I procrastinate like a true procrastinator, I procrastinane in procrastinating to procrastinating my homework (I procrastinate on homework). Also, I'm in a special programme that moves through units VERY fast. Hell, the only thing I'm worrying about over school is who's in my classes.
  15. Tigra, how is it irrelevant just because someone was high? That's like saying guy a drunk guy getting a girl pregnant is an irrelevant excuse for not drinking. Kelem, to me existence is physically being in a certain place and time in the universe, in the form of matter. How can there not be relevance to anything? I'm saying that there is a possibility that none of this may be real, I could be something else in a completely different universe and time, dreaming of dreaming of dreaming of dreaming im in my present state. Does it really matter? I guess not, but it would be good to know, but until I die, I will never know if what I thought I was is a lie, or a dream, or something else. That is where all relevence lies. HOW2PK, at the moment, this matters to me, I know that dwelling on it will almost certainly cost me my insanity, but for a while, I think I will be safe to wonder. P.S. Wow, i wen all over the place there #-o Go topic-hopping!
  16. Basically, I've been wondering about something. Do we really exist? I mean, I have no proof that anything/anyone/anywhere I see is even real. For all I know, I could be living in a delusion and all of you are made up figments of my imagination, or those of some other concious beings. I only have proof that I am concious, that I can think, because I am pondering over this question. I have no proof this world exists, no proof any of the scientific laws exist. Also, any evidence that everything is real can just be seen as a figment of imagination. Basically, I'm asking you, "Do our bodies really exist, or are we just random concious lifeforms, wandering through the universe?" The only solution to this question I can see is death. However, delusion or not, this life is too good to give up willingly.
  17. *Nukes hill* Now no one can be king of the hill, without radiation suits, but I'll just poke holes in them while you arent looking
  18. I quote for the obvious, but I won't consider a relationship based on a butt. The first thing I consider is their personality, if they lack a personality, they are rejected immedietly. Besides, I like the appearence of the butt when one is wearing/not wearing certain items of clothing, so it is very low on my relationship consideration checklist. Not to metion I'm a semi-immature fourteen year-old
  19. Is that part meant to confuse me?
  20. So basically, you're a metalhead? Thanks for posting : Don't mention it. I already did
  21. Grrr lol, you lot confused the hell outta me. Ahh, but you have to admit, it was fun and funny.
  22. Identity theft is an increasing problem.
  23. So basically, you're a metalhead? Thanks for posting :
  24. You can only paly two players at a time offline. Online, there are two different Match types, Ranked and Player. Ranked is where how you play actually counts and where you get any acheivements and the Leaderboards are accounted for. You cannot bring a guest here. You can however bring ONE guest during online Player matches, but you cannot earn acheivements or contribute to the Leaderboards. I am not sure about system link though, you may be able to have up to eight players with system link, two players per Xbox 360.
  25. Nice, I guess I'm not an individual after all. I really like quite a lot of those (Imogen Heap, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Kanye West, I'll listen to Jazz if I can ever be bothered to downlaod some of it, I love instumentals, Indie, alternative, heavy metal, never have really heard much Death Metal) Thanks for such a deatailed and organized post, I think it might be better if mine was like that #-o
