Exp Countdown - 162+ supporters!
Are you that lazy/impatient that you can't take one second to change tabs and check the amount of exp you have, then calcutale how much exp you need? Or is this for when you're fighting something and can't change tabs for fear of death :-k

New pick ideas! (Not dragon) *n_odie support!* |AXE UPDATE|
I thought of altered mining requirements: For the pick molten, the requirements should definitly be mining and smithing. However, instead of just using the minimum mining level for each ore, it should something like 1.5-2 times the mining level. At first this seems as if the level will go above 100, but it won't with gold being the highest single-ore bar at 40. I've also thought of a new variation fo smelting the ores. If you have the required amount fo coal in your inventory for a bar which you are mining the ore, there is a 25-50% of smelting the ores into the bar. This means that if you have 2+ coal in your inventory, while mining iron, you will make a steel bar 25% of the time, 25% of the time getting your iron back and 50% of the time losing your ores. This effect would require nature runes (1-2, most likely 1 to fit with superheat). The single-ore to bar effect would not require any runes and would be passive (Meaning you can turn it off). With the requiremennt of nature runes to mine&smelt multi-ore bars, there is a possibilty to introduce the pick molten giving unlimited fire runes - very good for mining in the wilderness or on Crandor. You just mine coal, mine & smelt addy or mithril, then high alch. For mithril, that would lose you quite a lot of money, however for addy, theres a possibility. For rune it would be too much of a hassle, only being able to mine&smelt 3 rune ores before getting more coal. Then the unlimited fire runes could provide protection when mining in the wilderness. Just bring some air runes and chaos/death/blood runes to cast the fire attacks. The axe aqueious would of course provide unlimited water runes. The unlimited runes and mine/smelting multi-ore bars are fairly weak ideas. The requirements however, are good IMO. Another opening that the pick molten opens up is power training smithing and mining at the same time. Just powermine iron with the pick, training both whenever you successfully get the ore. Another thing I was wondering: Would you get mining, but not smithing experience, every time you successfully got the ore, but unsuccessfully smelted the bar?

New pick ideas! (Not dragon) *n_odie support!* |AXE UPDATE|
You easily 1 hit iron at level 50+ mining, and if what you say is true, :ohnoes: What you should say is 1 hitting coal would ruin the economy. Now, for my second post on this: I love the quest, especially the furnaces and this "Mysterious Rune", leaving ALOT of room open for sequels, one for the mysterious rune, the other for each or both of the furnaces (Gaurding them maybe?). I do still think you should stick with a gem higher than diamond. You can buy those for about 1k from the gems trader in Al K.. I like the low requirements on the pickaxes, however they should be untradable for balance. These pickaxes would provide too much profit and xp to be simply bought. The quest requirements should definitly be higher, seeing as how good the pyro axe is. For the Pyro axe, there shouldn't be any requirements at all, just that you need the appropriate smithing and mining levels for the ore you are mining/smelting. You've covered alot of what I've thought of saying, from the low success rate of mining with the pyro to the low mining requirements. To finish this off with an Off-Topic question: Who is n_odie :?

The new Pickaxe Types!(I did not copy the other thread)
Iron ore (1/2)??? Why not just halve the amount of coal needed or something like :-k The coal is what refines/ heats the furnace enough to smelt steel. Therefore if the the Iron ore is already refined enough to make iron bars without fail, then you shouldn't need much coal to heat the furnace to refine the iron even further into steel. Also, how can you possibly make half an ore? Use a knife with it?

Development Diaries! A new branch on the jagex tree
Even though I am not, never have been and never plan to be a member (I am on P2P forum because it is the itsh), I find the bow probably one of the best updates I have seen. The whole revealing of the development was awesome, almost comparable to the Editor's weekly articles (Which by the way, could never be beaten by letters to the Editor). I always suspected that it took Jagex months to produce simple articles, however I never realized the things they went through. I thought most of it was always bug fixes in the scripts, not actally creating the scripts. That told me that, unless all scripts are, RuneScript is quite complicated and fitfully so. Then my favourite thing is all the conversation reveloutionary (For Runescape) updates like these create. I'm not talking just about the diary but the addition of dragon items and the dark bow. That stuff is able to keep me quite satisfied while essence mining, woodcutting, or doing any task that gives me a minutes chance to browse the forums. Now for the actual contents of the diary. B-E-A-Utiful. From the concept art to just the length of creation time, I loved it. The mage-like Impling? loved it. Talk of which Mod seems to do what? Loved it. This was pure gold. The only problem is that idiot noobs who think Jagex are a bunch of liars will rant that they made all of this up just so that it seemed they were hard at work. Nevermind, not going to bother changing this. :-#

RuneScapian Wishing Well
Maybe you put something in, and whatever it's high alch value, you get something with a close low or high alch value? You can only use it once a day, and it doesn't depend on other items that are put in, but what you put in. You put in something worth 10k high alch, you get ANY item with a high or low alch value of 9-11k. This means that the unfortunate idiot who puts his phat in expecting to get a phat worth more will get a bunch of ashes. He would deserve that however, so no problem there. But also that could mean that some lucky person could slowly build up from item value to item value through sheer luck (Put in ashes, get bronze axe, put in bronze axe, get bronze plate, put in bronze plate, get iron short, etc.,). That's what the 1 time a day rule would be for. Holiday drops, such as phats, would only be available if you dropped another holiday item in, however you wouldn't be limited to getting a holiday item. Again, little Johnny gets that smart idea to drop his santa in and get a phat. *Drops in* Johnny would right about now start of in some mad rant to Jagex, saying that he didn't get his P hat.

How much money would it cost(RC question)
From what I've seen, the normal trade for world 16 airs is 25 unnoted ess for 25 noted ess + 2k. This ends up costing 110-120 gp per essence crafted. From level 1 using this, it would cost around 1.224 mil to 1.335 mil.

death runes
Theres always using the German servers. Not many autos there and although it can make you feel shameful, I just don't talk at all, giving them no reason to believe I do not speak German Morals and ethics kicking in in 5 4 3 2

Telegrabbing Nats
It is just south of the Greater demons in the wilderness. There is an island in the middle of the lava, supposedly with nats on it (I haven't checked yet, might just do that now). I was thinking I could telegrab the one or two nature runes, run over to the lava maze, grab the steel plate and hi alch, repeat. Now I am just thinking of telegrabbing the nats, ming or buying coal and iron ot make steel bars, superheating, then selling the steel bars for 580-600 each. This seems much better to me, getting me magic experience in two ways, plus smithing and possibly mining.

Training magic. Low level'd (11, actually)
What the above person said, but I would suggest the Monks of Zamorak where theWine of Zamorak is if you have 43 prayer. Just Protect from melee and curse at least three. Curse one as many times as you can until the spell works, then move on to the next. Also, you can bring along some law runes and air runes to telegrab the zammy wine once you hit level 33 magic, allowing for you to earn a little extra money and magic experience. If you don't have 43 prayer for protect from melee, go with the caged monk of zamorak.

fastest wc-exp at level 64?
Cut willows. If you are members, I have no clue where to cut them. If you are F2P, cut them in either Rimmington or Draynor. If you're at draynor, you'll have quite a bit of competition, but you can bank the willows. Rimmington has extremely low competition, but you can only sell to general store for 4gp each. Although that does add up if you're trying to cut alot of logs, it is only about a fifth to eigth of what you could get selling to other players. If you want to get firemaking experience AFTER you've got your woodcutting goal, go for Draynor, but if you plan on cut & burning, go for Rimmington.

Telegrabbing Nats
I was just looking through the wilderness map for some reason and noticed those two nature rune respawns, along with the steel plate respawns. I was just wondering if the nats were there on F2P worlds and if it would be worth the time and risk telegrabbing the nats and then high-alching the plates. laws are about 35-400 each I think so it looks like a good triple in my money, along with some decent magic experience.

Where would you put a toll gate?
The entrance to Runescape..... The toll? Answer a simple mathematical queston of 1+1=?. The two acceptable answers would be 2 and a window, answering window giving you bonus points. That toll gate would just about double the average IQ of 'Scapers to about 3

An Economic Crash :O!? OMGZORZ!!!!
No one can predict what will happen to the economy, however the group of people that has the best guess would be TB@JT. They control the basics of this game: whether an item is tradable or untradable, whether coal availability will suddenly skyrocket or plumment because they tweaked the respawn rates, if they somehow got rid of every autoer in the game ( ) or if they completely ruined rune essence mining ( :shame: ) Runescape is Andrew's and Jagex's world, they are the true Gods of Runescape, the ones who created Saradomin, Guthix, Zamorak and all of us mouthless, computer-generated sapiens. All we can do is play the cards we're dealt and try not to bite off the hands that feeds us.

New pick ideas! (Not dragon) *n_odie support!* |AXE UPDATE|
Very good (Support) With the mini-game suggested, all of your ores in your inventory when you start should be held with Smorlof until the minigame is over, and any ores on the ground/ in your bank will disappear until the minigame is over. This will keep players from cheating. Also, there should be limits to how many ores you have to mine for a specific ore, based on the average respawn rate. So say you have 18 minutes and you have to collect x amount of an ore with a 60 second respawn rate. You should only have to collect 9-14 of that ore to account for competition and travel time. Maybe even you get a bonus of DP for extra ores? I can also see another direction a mining-based minigame like this could take, which is very similar. You are given a time limit to mine as many ores as you possibly can and return them to an NPC. If you return any ores before the time limit runs out, you are given a time bonus. The time bonus should be such that if you are skilled and/or lucky, you can keep on with the minigame for quite a while. Points would be accumulated based on: A) How long you were able to play for over the original time, B) The median of how many ores you were able to collect per trip (Back to the NPC) and C) How much extra time was leftover when you decided to end the minigame. This would be very good for high-level miners or those who can plan very well (They would create very efficient cycles to keep themselves playing the minigame).

~- Loyal / Members / Rewards -~
 On-Topic: A weapon like the rubber chicken would be good, maybe have a hair-removing cream pie for one of them (Of course the hair would grow back after a couple of seconds) You throw the pie at someone and splat, right in their face, bye-bye hair.

~- Loyal / Members / Rewards -~
Good idea, but there should be another requirement for the items. The item should only be obtainable by long term members if they either have no blackmarks, or maybe one. Loyalty isn't just being frequent customers, it's keeping promises (i.e. the promise you made not to break the rules when you made your account). This will also promote good behavior among players, not matter whether they are members or not, unless of course they never plan to become or stay a member, or plan to quite.

would you play RS if you broke your wrist?pic, cast is off
I would almost definity play Runescape with a broken wrist. Maybe not go on the forums because it would be too much of a hassle typing. Anyways, how much movement does your cast allow your fingers. The only reason I want to know is that if I break my LEFT wrist, I know I will be able to type, however it may require a great amount of arm movement. Breaking my right wrist would piss me off, actually breaking anything would piss me off, especially during hockey (Scarborough Sabres FTW!) season. An even better question might be "Would you still play if you broke your fingers and thumbs?" because your fingers are what do most of the work, not your wrist. That would be hell, with no fingers :ohnoes:

Dragon Arrows, Dark Bow, Dragon Darts-Starting Prices?
I am sure those level 85 slayers are trying to hike up to level 90 in time to reap the rewards of the dark beasts.

If by mandatory you mean that there always must be a bnkpin set, then yes, this is a good idea. If you just mean that you must set up a bank pin once you start the game and then you can get rid of it, this is a horrible idea. The thing about having a bank pin right now is that you can delete it after 3-7 days. This means that all an autoer has to do is set the bank pin, go to a bank and delete the bank pin. Then the autoer starts leveling all the levels it needs while waiting for the pin to be deleted. The autoer might even max out the skill by the time the week is over (Is that possible?). Once the week is over, the autoer goes about its autoer life as usual. If you were required to always have a bankpin set, you couldn't delete the bank pin, only change it, with the changes taking place in the time period. That would be the best idea.

The Cape Of Music/Adventure!
Maybe have two different capes, one for those who have all of the music that was available for a limited time, then a cape for those who have everything. The effect might have to be increased a tiny bit. The cape for all of the music should only be obtainable during holiday events, and maybe is just the non-exclusive music cape if you don't have the latest holiday music. This means that once you get the cape without the non-exclusive music (I'll call it the regular cape from now on), you can "upgrade" it at the next holiday event if you have ALL of the music. When a new holiday event comes out, the upgraded cape is reverted back to the regular cape until you complete the holiday event and get the music. Once you get the music however, the cape doesn't automatically upgrade again, you have to talk to an NPC at the end of the event (Possibly the MOM). Upgrading the cape has no extra cost. Also, the quest cape could just be upgraded to this cape and called the Adventurer cape or Master cape. There are so many more options for acheivement capes, and there should be a cape for maxing out all of the skills and completeing all the quests. Another name for the Music cape - Cape of Discovery

Good level to start WCing yews.
All depends if you are F2P or P2P. If you are F2P, god help you and damn those bots, or use the german servers. If you are P2P, I have no clue.
