f2p bank space guide v. 1.1 pictures coming soon
Very good =D> Another thing you might want to add is that both members and non-members alike have a sort of wardrobe (Like the one possible to create using Construction) for most of your holiday items. He's named Diango. Unless you use a holiday item constantly, you should just destroy an item, essentailly "banking" it with Diango. Those holiday items can take up quite a bit of room (At least one row for those hats and scarves, then the R Chicken, zombie head, easter ring, chicken outfit, etc.). You should add that into your guide. That and Capitolization. Also, I think I might just make you some pictures right now.

~~Newer Bank Of Runescape~~ **Updated again 05/15/09**
Just two questions. Do locked items with a value of 0 take up bank space (i.e. I have a locked hammer in my bank. I withdraw all of the hammers so that there are none in my bank, Does it take up any bank space?) If locked items do not take up bank space, could this not be a possible loop hole to having limited bank space? You would just put in one of an item, lock it into place, remove all of it, repeat until every item in the game is represented. Then you just put every item in the game back in. Unless of course once you have filled your bank you cannot put in any more items at all in, even if it has a locked representation that has a value of 0.

My way to slow Macroers
So it takes the autos a couple more days to cut/mine/fish the money making items. That would actually create more autos because they can only get 100k xp worth of resources on an account each day.

The Legend of Zelda
I'm hoping I still have Oracle of Ages and Oracle of seasons. Those were the best GBA (Weren't they actually for GBC?) games ever. Then Majora's Mask for N64 had to have to best graphics I had ever seen when it came out. I just want to get the rest of the GBA/GBC/N64 games from Legend of Zelda. THe next best game for N64 after OoT and Majora was Banjo-Tooie \

Halo 2
I would be playing Halo 2 alot more, had it not been for two things. The first of them is Gears of War. The second is the fact that with the two new maps, there aren't many game modes you can play. BTW, I never even tried to play the game on live until after the Halo 3 Beta ended and the new maps were released. Now I try to play it since glitching is almost completely eliminated from Gears :boohoo:

Call of Duty 3 players?
I might start playing it, just have to get back into COD3. I finished the game in about two days since it was the game that came with my 360 and at that point I was PWNing Germans left and right. Then I got Gears, then Crackdown then Live, so alot of Gears, then the Halo 3 Beta came out, so alot of that, then it ended, so Gears, Gears and more Gears. It would be nice to play COD3 again.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
360; with Wii in behind and PS3 so far away from my choice that I would just go for N64. 360 just has all of the good games, along with backward compatability to get alot of the original Xbox games. Also there seems to be alot more support for the 360 with the Marketplace. Wii as my second choice just because it costs so little and has that whole interactive aspect. PS3 is just way too fancy and pricey. Even at their $800(?) price tag Sony apparently loses money. The Blu-ray to me seems quite useless. The only people looking for something like that are looking to deck out their entertainment set-up, not just play the games. Introducing all of these expensive features made the PS3 only available to those who really want it or, like I said, those who are looking to deck out their entertainment set-up. It doesn't make it available to main customers, the people who just want to play. They will care about graphics, but probably not enough to spend an extra $400-500 dollars.

Banner posting help
I was just wondering, how would I post this: It is supposed to be a banner however when I try to post it in a thread, it shows up as that when I use . I am not used to posting things like these, all I've had to do so far was copy and paste. Sorry if I posted somthing already posted, I really do not have time to do this before I have to get off the computer. Also sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but this really seemed the logical place to me, or that could just be my need for sleep.

From a Whim
Hi, I'm Aquariusman. I live in Canada and I'm just graduating from grade eight. I found out about From A Whim while sifting through some Rise Against covers. I found a cover of Swing Life Away by this guy named Lamoni. It was amazing, both vocal and acoustic cover. After that I just went through some more videos, until I came upon his second cover of Swing Life Away. The first he did with a broken thumb and there were some things he needed to work on, but thus time he nailed it. Then in the related videos I saw another one of his covers: Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure, in acoustic. The original isn't exactly the best, but his acoustic version was amazing. Then in the details it said he had a band, From A Whim. So I checked out his MySpace site http://www.myspace.com/fromawhim. These guys are amazing. They are from Soda Springs, Idaho and they have a CD out, Fighting For The Losing Side. I have not bought it yet, so I'm not going to say to go buy it, it isn't through iTunes or any of the garunteed online music sites. All of their songs are acoustic and it seems that they have written them all themselves. You definitly should check out From A Whim, especially if you love acoustics. My Sig also has another link to their site.

Songs That 'Pump You Up'
Double Post :-# !@#$%^& refresh!

Songs That 'Pump You Up'
First of all: Anything by Flogging Molly and some by the Dropkick Murphys, Partners in Crime - Comeback Kid, Heaven Beside You - Alice in Chains, Hold Ya Head (Feat. Bob Marley) - Notorious B.I.G., Fear of the Dark - Iron Maiden, Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden, Murderers - John Frusciante, Numb/Encore - Linkin Park/Jay-Z, Bed of Razors - Children of Bodom, Worth Dying for - Rise Against, Boom - P.O.D., Everything Goes Numb - Streetlight Manifesto, Trying to Find a Balance - Atmosphere. To finish off my monsterous list of pump-up songs mentioning EVERY single one, here's the number one pump-up song for me: Give it all - Rise Against. The one song that got me into that amazing band and probably kept me into Runescape, along with Trying to find a balance and whatever else was on the West 49 music player at the time. Each artist above pretty much represents all of the phases in my musical life, just I dont have any Fallout Boy, Say Anything, Cute is what we aim for, Our Lady Peace and more (All of that is only equal to about a year or a year and a half, maybe even less). Now I listen to all of it, and I have pretty much found the four artists that I feel represent me: Rise Against, Streetlight Manifesto, Atmosphere and John Mayer. Quite paradoxal considering those four artists and Rock, Ska, Rap/Hip-Hop and Soft Rock/Whatever you want to consider John Mayer.

2007: The year of the sequel
If this forum included games, I would include those such as Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3 (I think), Forza Motorsport 3, etc. Technically alot of those aren't sequals, they're trilogies or greater ( Shrek, Pirates, Harry P., Spiderman, The Bourne____ series [There's atleast four books I know of: Identity, Supremecy, Ultimatum, Betrayal], etc.,)

Any Fatboy Slim Fans?
I would love to download more of his songs, unfortunately, I procrastinate alot, so it probably won't be done. All I have are three songs: Rockafella Skank, Praise You and Don't Let The Man Get You Down. They would be three of my favourite songs, had it not been for Atmosphere, Streetlight Manifesto (All forms) and Rise Against. Maybe even Immortal Technique, John Mayer and John Frusciante. On top of my procrastination, I doubt I know I will either find nothing by him or absolutely everything by him. That's just the way Soul Seek works, unfortunately.

last.fm Tip.It usergroup - official topic
If only this could somehow work with iPods :( All of my music is split between three or four accounts on two computers, so I just use my iPod, which is loaded with all of the songs. I would plug my iPod in and play the music off of it on the computer, but I don't see the point in that.

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
Scorched Earth is a desperation tactic in which you have nothing to lose. Once there are about 30 autoers per tree, that's desperation. But don't take away the trees for that, take away the regular/pure essence split. Ever since then, autoers have been flocking to yews away from the essence, or moved to P2P. That one event is what has ruined yew cutting indefinitly. Keep those autoers on the essence, where competition is insignificant.

Reusing RuneScape Usernames!
Only problem I see is with famous or infamous players who have quit/been banned. Other than that a good idea. Also maybe you have an option to delete your account, which automatically "donates" your username.

~The Healing Skill [Thought out]
Definitly needs some tweaking, but other than that, very well thought-out. Fopr the light converter, does the poison get reversed only if you are already using the spell, or does it get reversed as long as you have the spell active (i.e., you get poisoned in a fight, then activate the spell, any affect? or should it be, you activate the spell, get poisoned, but poison is reversed). I also think that there should be some herblore requirements to making the potions, because while Healing can be considered a skill (Back in the mediveal (sp?) ages, there were people known as Healers, just can't remember whether it was in the "New" world, or Europe), mixing potions is Herblore.

Why can't F2P have...?
I, as a F2P, actally see that as a good idea. There's enough room for another ad right below the game screen. That will pretty much increase the amount of money F2P generates by about 50-100%. If you don't think we pay enough, make us pay more through ads! I am just fine with having an extra ad or two below the game screen. It just involves more scrolling which doesn't affect anyone at all.

f2p range update with dark bows coming out?
Oh my god... get a freaking life will you!? I LOVE it when some gay little punk who has absolutely no understanding of economics decides to call someone else "cheap" and that they "don't deserve" updates F2p makes enough money from adds to pay for ALL servers... YES little kiddy that includes your oh so precious p2p server... They could run runescape off f2p alone... the wonderful p2p is for profit only... F2p'ers are hard working gamers who enjoy the game even if they don't get all the items they could... EVERY single level that they earn is two to three times as hard as every level you get while using a whip or pcing your exp... I almost never see f2p'ers asking for updates... normally they are quite happy with the decent solid game that they have... F2p is balanced pking... all 3 combat types have a chance against one another... I know alot of guys in real life who play f2p... They aren't bad kids... many of them would get members but either their parents say no or they can't afford the $5 a month... WOW, does that shock you that some people out there can't afford to pay 5 dollars... guess we aren't all lucky middle class Americans eh? Get your head out of your pathetic, slushy, overweight, [developmentally delayed], the worlds a wonderful place buttox and stop being a stuck up, socially rejected [puncture]... Have a nice day :x Other than that quote right there, so true. I am F2P and always plan to be. Personally, I am actually against F2P updates, unless neccesary, even graphical. The only update I really want is to chop F2P range down a bit. getting owned by a level 68 range pure when you're level 78 with 60+ defence is not all that enjoyable. F2P range is way overpowered. It's one of the easiest thigns to train, what with the cost of bronze and iron arrows, the safespots available, etc. Then you get hit with rapid, constant 5-15 hits, through rune, it gets annoying. Although I don't feel it is neccesary, that is only because I almost never PK. If you feel you must correct me on that, refer to the italicized words. OT: No F2P updates!!!! I do appreciate the updates, however I would much rather see that time go to something like articles, much like the now-monthly installments by The_Editor. Other than the addy arrow+maple bow update and graphical, all of the other updates lasted a month or two. Yes, I know updating F2P range will last for ever, however it will lead to and extreme inbalance to the already off-kilter F2P combat triangle. Jagex should also not try and balance this by adding more to F2P melee or mage because that would just make more problems arise.

Have YOU noticed anything unfair about Runescape?
Runescape has essentially become more and more user-"friendly", somethings for the better, some for the worst. Cook/fletch/smelt/smith/any other X options? Fairly good IMO. The entire conversion of the toolbar-thingy ( :wall: The inventory, etc.)? Bad for us literate pllayers, good for eveyother 'Scaper. Ease of XP compared to RSC? I could say it's overkill. While it shouldn't take a rediculously long time to level/ get a 99, it also shouldn't take month at the most. Acheivement capes show Acheivement. In other words, dedication, not addiction. If you can get that new skill cape in four weeks of no-living, good for you. Want a cookie for your wasted hours of monotony-earned pixels? Tone down the training rates. ure, make it so that if you are truly dedicated you can get 200k xp an hour, but make the average rate of xp around 50-100k per hour. Make it feel near-impossible to drive away those newbies wanting to do it all easy. But first get rid of the wide-spread autoer infestation.

Being nice... is it really worth it?
I am nice for one simple reason, other than the fact that it is who I am. On either my current account or my past account (Yofreddie, hacked a year or two ago) I was simply walking around around Varrock square in full addy at level 40-56. All of a sudden, a higher leveled player tells me to trade my full addy, while taking off his full rune. I put two and two together and figure it's worth a shot. So we swap armour sets, with me getting full rune for my full addy. I was thrilled. I sold the plate, seeing as I could not wear it due to my incomplete Dragon Slayer quest, bought a rune battle axe and lobsters to fund the trip there and killed Elvarg. Now I help players with a hope similar to something the main character in the movie Pay it Forward did. That my helping of someone I either do or do not know will cause them to help someone else in return, sparking a chain of kindness that I would like to spread to the real world. It's like everyone in the world doing something small like replacing an incandescant bulb with a flourescent bulb. Each of those bulbs is a bit more efficient than an incandescant bulb. It's aninsignificant amount, but when you do something small over and over again, it builds up until it reaches significance.

Mithril, Adamant, and Runite Dragons *CONTRIBUTE TO DROPS!!*
Very well thought out, support. Also maybe add a minigame so that you can't simply just face the second most powerful moster in the game without some kind of challenge. I would suggest something like the Fight Pit/Caves, except with all of the dragons. Maybe you fight green dragons, then red dragons, then black dragons, then bronze, iron, steel, mithril, addy and finally, the rune dragon. Once you kill one dragon, the next dragon flies in to attack you. You can however retreat and come back to the dragon you were just fighting. Once you kill the Rune dragon, you either go back to the mithril dragon, the bronze dragon, or the green. There would however be a chance of facing the rune dragon again. Once you rack up 10 rune dragon kills, something special happens. I dont know what, I'm too tired to think.
