From what I understand (it'd be nice if you could clarify though) I probably mispoke- I meant instead of what I would do, what would improve this piece, and your work in general. I apologize I wasn't concise enough. But what did my drawing have to do with anything?

Hes freaking incredible. Kudos to him.

It seems too monotone, with only some harsh lines really seperating anything. Practice using shapes to create shading, upping your contrasting and pushing your lights and darks, and using less dark outlines. Try to rely on contrasting shades to display a figure in 3 dimensions. Just what I would do.

By its very definition pillowshading is a bad thing. Its as if I said " Dont run around in traffic or fart in peoples faces" and you said "No, those things are ok!" I'm being serious when I say that its ruins pixel art.

Just IMO: The tutorial heading kinda makes the heading sucky and cliche. Posting Constructive Criticism seems like it would be enough.

Assuming someone doesn't have any clue on how to do Crits, its only natural that they wouldn't know what C/C is, and you never gave a definition. Also, since they don't know what it is, they may never click on the tut because of the name thats strange to them. Just a thought.

Just so you know: I'm not tryng to diss you or anything. Just trying to help. I can't tell if this is the pose you where going for or not, but heres my best approximation.

That that doesn't look like part of the human anatomy and you shouldn't rely on your mind when you seem not to know how to make whatever you were trying to make. No offense.

Show me the refference you drew the arm from or at least a muscle on any part of the body that looks remotely like that. Even better (sense I highly doubt you can do those things) show me a picture of what you wanted it to look like.

Probably just the amount of inexperianced artists versus experianced artists. That and the overall lack of a solid # of people.

He has virtualy no forehead, he lacks definition of the side of the face ( His chin and lips and nose being more than hard lines) His crotch is down too low, and his legs arent long enough. If his entire body is facing away at at least 3/4 at the legs and 1/2 perspective in the abdomen, his foot would be feel very awkward in that position. Don't be afraid to turn the feet and do something other than the classic one foot directly on and the other at 1/2. Also, check out folds on real subjects. Unless thats dense heavy cotton or something the pants legs would not be so... mushy looking? Hard to describe.

I'm kinda dissapointed with the dragon, cause I keep forgeting your a new pixel artist. He should have highlights and a scaley effect. Don't use so much black. And from a stylistic standpoint, the dragon is too cartoony with its big eyes and what not compared to the guy. And I dont really dig cartoony dragons. Also, its neck shouldn't be so straight. Just my opinions, no rudness meant by them.

I'd suggest you edit that. The mods are pretty tight about even talking about it.You dont want this locked.
