If I was a mod I would have already locked this obviously. It is common sense that if people make new topics about something that has been discussed many times in the past and no new information has arisen about it, then it should be locked.

This same question has been asked like 200 times on these forums, use the search function and stop posting pointless topics. This should be locked.

Even though I always use my DFS for all tasks I will still recommend rune defender over DFS. In my case DFS was better since I have 99 attack and use piety on every task so I dont need to worry about accuracy. You however do need to worry.

This has happened many times before and they were down for 2 hours in the spring and we got like 100 of these stupid threads. I hope some mods are looking and just lock this thread and delete any other ones that pop up.

These "people" that call it rubbish are just reffering to the fact that it has low defence compared to a torag's helmet or some other barrows. The fact is that it gives +15% att and str which no other helmet does at all, and those bonuses are huge. Another way to look at this is compare a rune defender to say a mithril kiteshield. Sure the kite has more defence, but the defenders bonuses overpower it by so much that it doesn't matter.

Many people don't, and the few that do disagree with the helmet are probably level 50's with 15 slayer. You have two people with 92+ slayer posting in this topic, listen to them. I am 99 slayer and I have another account with 93, I know a little about it.

Erm, bad math. You said it's 50k exp per hour and he's 8m off to 99 attack. So, 8000k / 50k is 160 hours. Yah just noticed that somehow I thought of the 2M slayer exp... and then multiplied it by 10 cause 40 hours didnt make sense lol. Bad mental math. But yah definitly do slayer, camping ftl.

If you are using Duradel, which you should, you should look at blacklisting Steel Dragons, Greater Demons, Gargoyles and Hellhounds (In my opinion). Assuming you get 50k exp per hour (you should get somewhere around this once you get used to it) it will take you 400 hours.

People who say it is bad for slayer because of its low defence are complete and utter idiots. End of story.

Same, I bought my first one for over 100M and it was worth every gold piece back then too. I think you should just leave and come back, if it is low enough then you can buy it straight cash, if not then you have to make money.

There are max prices for certain items, such as water runes which are stuck at 18 because you can buy them in a shop for 18. Sorry that I misread your question earlier but there must be a shop where you can get lobsters for that amount somewhere.

The +13 is not a recommended price, it is what happened compared to the previous day. You can usually look at the ge graphs to see when a price is going to peak and start falling. The GE is updated randomly now by JaGEx.

Def pure are for looks, if you want to be a TANK which is a defence pure with range, you need to get your range WAY up.
