Actually I believe the armour boost is seperate from the prayers and potions, so the 10% + 15% bonuses would actually give a +26.5%.

Red chins are trash if you are below 85 range. They are just a mass waste for something that is inaccurate and hits low. Go with bronze knives, 75 range is not hard at all.

It is purely bad luck. I have gone up to 2k tokens without getting a defender before. Keep in mind that when you can't see the drop you got on top of the bones, it is a rune defender underneath the bones half the time, just incase you have missed it.

You will only need like 2 super restore if I remember right, and you are not too low of a level. I did it when I was nearly the same stats. I believe someone made a guide for it on these forums (maybe try and use the search function even though it is terrible). There is safespots that you can temporally use a halbred from that may interest you.

You can use any random event, or previous holiday clothes as a costume.

I suggest bronze knives for pretty much anything except dragons, black demons or maybe some of the level 125+ monsters you need to fight. For those tasks use broad bolts.

Do it, a pure without prayer is useless anyways. If you are going to be a pure rangers you should have 44 prayer.

One more skill? If sailing were to be released (I know this isn't confirmed), it would massively disrupt the economy. New skills mean that people want to power train (assuming sailing is buyable). When summoning was released many items just went crazy, certain ones tripled in prices, and other plummeted to nothing.

You will need 90+ range to do it effectively, and at your level you are kind of forced to be a tank if you want to range. Meaning get 90+ def, 90+ range.

More often (barely), not harder except for slayer dart (possibly let you hit 1 more).

I have to admit that some of my 99's are purely for the cape, and they are just becoming a big money expense. If skill capes were not out I would only have Attack, Strength, Defence, Hp, Range, Mage and Slayer. Cooking, Fletching, Herblore, Crafting and Summoning (would only get 96) would not have been worth it for 99. A lot of people say it is just a grind to get the skill capes now though, which I disagree about, because I just powertrain everything. 99 Herblore - 6 Days - 120M Loss (81-99) 99 Crafting - 7 Days - 40M Loss (87-99) 99 Cooking - 5 Days - 5M Loss (81-99) 99 Fletching - ~10 Days - 15M (70-99) 99 Summoning - ~7 Days - 45M (96-99) This ends up being 225M extra that I normally wouldn't have spent.

Ingame the quest symbol is not there, and if you speak to Explorer Jack he just tells you about the achievement diary. It makes sense if the quest starts in Lumbridge seeing as it will be part of the halloween event, meaning it will be a 5 minute quest that everyone in rs needs to be able to do.

It is easily do-able, and once you get 85+ combat (for Smoking Kills) you will be able to profit easily. I got 65 slayer already just ranging tasks, it isn't bad at all. At 70 combat when I can use Chaeldar I will go back to slaying till 99 range. After 99 range I will just camp for magic and then get 85 combat with summoning most likely and I will be able to use Sumona tasks. You will have to pray melee every task, but you can still make money. I piety every task on my main account, and I use cannon when possible, and I still make loads off slayer.

Dark Bow in my opinion was another let down, it was better than a lot of things but for general use magic short bow was still better and unless you are willing to spend a lot of money on dragon arrows it's fairly useless for pvp too. There were quite a few things I "missed" but that was because I felt the article was dragging on a bit, if I had included every small update I'd have been there forever lol. I could have also mentioned how slayer influenced the use of cannons and things use as that. Maybe that'll be for a future article :) Yah well bone bolts weren't a "small update", they were the BEST training method for 6 months. That is nothing minor.

I am amazed that there is nothing that talks about Bone Bolts. With the release of infinite shop stock these bolts were bought by the millions seeing as they hit as hard as mith bolts (not quite as accurate) and cost only 4 gp each. The speed of the bone crossbow was the same as a mage short bow making these bolts 5-10k more exp per hour over the conventional training methods. I was able to do 80-97 range with these in a very short amount of time, at which time they finally nerfed it, taking away another good ranging method.
