the sole purpose of jagex putting in the fight caves was a test of skill, this cannot be argued that is why i admire fire capes, ya it is easy, but it still shows that you killed the big baddie of rs and sure ill throw slayer in there as well, not that i disregarded it i just didnt think of it. Keep in mind that probably 50% of people when pking was out bought their fire capes off other players (eg transferred 2 mill for another person to do it on their account). Quite a while ago I actually did fire capes for people, I only did about 7 and then stopped, but even then I still got people asking me to do their's for weeks after every day, and I still get people asking me atleast once a week to do it for them.

What about slayer? It has more movement and variety than both of those put together and done three times.

wow i didn't noticed that until you brought it up you used over 6 brews in those pics. ...quite alot of brews ill say.. The thing that caught my attention is that he used 0 antipoison doses in the first like 10+ kills according to his inventory. I highly doubt that someone in welfare gear would sit there for 30 minutes letting poison hit them. If you just want to change your thread to saying that in your hour dk trip you got these drops, but you got them all within 30-40 minutes it would be better. But right now you are just lying about how long your trip was, and that first ring could have been near the beginning of the trip and you piced later.

I am kind of a mix of both sides. There are some stats that I have grinded away at, and others I just power train. If it is a stat I truely enjoy I usually dont mind doing it the most fun way in my opinion, even if it is slower or more expensive than other methods. On my first account I got 18.5M range exp without ever throwing chinchompas, on my second account I did 1-97.5 with slayer mostly and did 97.5-99 with chins (that I got from a drop party) and I dont think that my first account deserved the cape any more than my second. With magic I alched to 94 and bursted to 99 on my first account, on my second account I did 70-99 with fire bolt, slayer dart and fire way on metal dragons and dagannoth kings. Although it took MUCH more time and money on my second account, I dont feel that I deserved the cape any more than someone who alched, I just feel that I would rather do something I enjoy to get the 99 than do a grind JUST for the cape. I am currently going for 99 summoning, and I know some people have been flaming others for bursting the whole way, just because they have 300M+ to sink into the skill they dont deserve it as much as someone else. The reality of it is that the people who didnt burst for it just camped waterfiends, are they any better because they want fast charms but just spend less? I dont think so. I have done a big mix to get my charms from slayer, rock lobsters and mith dragons, but I dont feel that I will deserve the cape any more than people who bursted the whole way, I just dont have the money to fund that, but if I did have the money I definitly would have bursted it all. The way I have mostly gone about my non-combat stats which I do not enjoy that much, but need the levels for quests or other things is I sink as much money as I see needed into it, because in the hours I would spend getting the levels slowely and cheaper, I could easily have made that money back doing dagannoth kings or another money making method. I know that if I ever go for 99 cooking or fletching, I will be doing sharks and mage longs, just to cut down time and give me more time to do combat related stats (which I enjoy more).

Very nice except I think you are lying about the length of your trip, based on your inventory your trip was 1 hour long minimum. Its still a very good trip for 1 hour but lying about the length isnt really worth it.

I did this with 200 keys on the weekend, you lose about 3k per key on average.

Its not worth it unless you have a lot of money sitting around and nothing really to use it on.

Find a friend with 90+ smithing and get him to assist you in making the shield. This way you wont have to spend 1.25M to get Oziach to make it into a shield and you will profit 900k over selling the shield on the Grand Exchange rather than the draconic visage.

Fire Giants - With the introduction of the Chaos Tunnels, there is a ton of places to kill these, you never have to worry about getting a world. They have 111 hp and low defense so you can really rack up the kills quickly. Their drops are above average due to the rune drops, half keys and rune arrows that you get. Dagannoths - One of the best tasks in the game if you have a cannon. During a normal task of these in the lighthouse it takes me 4-5 second per kill. That means I can do a 180 task in about 13 minutes. That is just amazing experience. Bloodvelds - 120 hp, extremely low defense. These things die fast and don't hit you back. They are good for green charms and blood runes and if you have done quite a few quests you can kill the mutated ones which are over 40k exp per hour and drop dragon medium helms relatively common. Trolls - These are also cannonable. They are not a multi cannon task but they are still able to be cannoned quickly. Their defense is low again so you can rip through a task pretty quick. Their drops vary since there is so many of these you can kill but it ranges from nature runes and herb seeds from the lowest ones, to granite shields from the level 91's, and if you kill ice trolls you get a lot of rune items which will cover the cost of cannonballs for the task.

15-20 people is not tri-briding :D it is just massing, I bet you half the people dont even bring all three cause in mass trips usually some people dont feel like ranging and other dont want to spend money to mage.

I highly doubt that this will effect prices at all. I remember reading somewhere that the items would only be able to be lend to another person for the session, meaning the period where both users are logged in. This means it wont be practical for most things and will mostly just be a novelty for people to show off.

Very Very few tasks are worth it to kill with chinchompas. The only ones I can really think of are Nechryaels and Dagannoths.
