  1. Note to self- if Chrisman asks for advice on woodcutting, tell him to chop normal logs.
  2. Not sure what you mean by that, but you can probably get a better answer if you ask on that thread.
  3. http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-spreadsheets/ Was on the first page of AoW..
  4. A video would be great. My suspicion, though, is that your problem is just having the wrong prayer on sometimes, which would result in the demon not switching styles and also you taking a bunch of damage. Pretty much every time you get hit at TDs, it was a small mistake of some kind. Even the wrong prayer guesses can be avoided if you're FAST- you have a tick (.6 seconds) where you can see what attack was used and still have time to put the right prayer up. That's really hard though. And yeah, that's not how equipment bonuses work. IIRC there's a lot of interesting info on that sort of thing in Grimy's Spreadsheets on the AoW.
  5. Stats and pot types don't change which weapon is better. Whip is always better. Demons will ALWAYS change attack style when roaring UNLESS: A) You had the wrong prayer on when they roared, in which case they stay on the same style, or B) You're not standing next to them, in which case they might switch to melee, realize they can't reach you, and switch again to either magic or ranged (50% of the time this looks exactly like not switching). What you should be doing is guessing the next prayer each time they roar and switching your prayer ahead of time. If they're on melee, guess magic when they roar If they're on magic, guess ranged when they roar If they're on ranged, guess magic when they roar Then after they attack, you can adjust it if you guessed wrong. That way you only get hit by magic specials if they were on magic, and you only get hit once by the new attack style 50% of the time.
  6. I even made a provision for people who purposefully limit themselves, and I STILL get flamed.
  7. Good soloers benefit from fast spawn worlds. You might miss a minion kill here and there, but the extra boss kills are more than worth it.
  8. And my response is, again, if you have a divine and 99 summon, why the need for the extra 2 people taking your money? The whole premise that anything other than a solo can be effective for a maxed player is fundamentally flawed, because the limiting factor to Bandos kills is, again, spawn time. You're not going to overcome that hurdle with any number of steel titans. You also don't seem to be aware that rapier is better than CLS, defender is better than divine in a trio, and recover special potions exist.
  9. 3 players would essentially 1-hit the boss with claws. The steel titans wouldn't get a chance to do anything. Why are you, as a non-maxed player, theorizing about how maxed players should kill Bandos?
  10. Have you ever done TDs? There isn't a way to not get 3 on you short of using a horrible spot. The trick is to get 3 on you on your terms so that they don't sneak up and surround you, which is the problem OP has. Setting up your lures is just a simple system of running to X place when you want a TD to do Y, everything else is experience.
  11. That video definitely isn't for people who know what to do already. It's a step by step guide. Get demon's attention, then stand here, then stand here, then kill. How could it be simpler?
  12. Obviously. No diary rewards lose abilities as they level up.
  13. Don't chop yews, unless you're one of those DIYers who doesn't allow themselves to use the GE. You only make in the realm of 300k/hour there, which is a REALLY poor income.
  14. Oooh wow. Never thought I'd see that timer over 1:00:00
  15. You don't need a unicorn at ice strykes, soul split flashing a tiny bit gets your hp up FAST. When you're hitting 900s it doesn't take much.
  16. Put it this way- a soloer spends around half their time waiting for the boss to respawn, if not more. That means that if 3 people killed the boss instantly every time it spawned, they would have a lower killrate per person than a solo. That's what we're dealing with here.
  17. The limiting factor of Bandos kills is spawn time. That's the reason that a 6 man team will never do better than solo/duo, GP/hour-wise.
