As cliche as it is, melee stats are extremely helpful to have at a high level. They bring in some of the best money if you know what to fight, are used in several quests, and just made RS easier in general.

Nobody knows because Jagex thinks it's cool to be mysterious about important information like that. I've never noticed one making any difference in my drops.

I take it this account isn't the sort of account you'd bother training slayer on? If you need/want cash, green dragons are awesome for that. Otherwise, there's cockroaches for great exp and moderate drops, or the classic fire giants and what have you.

There's a signature updater at Draynor.net you need to use. I'd suggest using bone bolts at Pest Control long enough to get full void ranged, regardless of where you end up training. That armor set is SO GOOD, and the exp at Pest Control isn't bad while you save up for it.

They have low defense but can hit pretty hard on lower levels. If you're so inclined, they're pretty fantastic ranged exp- mith bolts or arrows would hit fine. For melee, you'd want some good armor and Guthans.

Wildy shortcut is one-way, you can't get into Trollhiem using it.

That's the air obelisk I believe. Go through Edgeville dungeon, up past the thugs to the red spiders, west to the black demon room. In the farthest north part of the black demon room there's a ladder which will take you to your clue spot.

If your mass is killing him that fast, it doesn't really matter if he's frozen or not. Be better off just tanking him normally. A big problem with using ancients or Lunars at GWD is the fact that you can't teleport there, too. Trollhiem tele is the only thing even remotely close.

Wilderness course is better than all of those.

Unless you're going for 200mil fishing exp, I wouldn't recommend shark fishing... Actually, even if you are going for 200mil, at least do monks. Honestly, if you don't have the money to shell out for Bandos, I'd suggest just grabbing a d skirt and a granite plate/fighter torso and slaying in that. After you get 83 slayer you can get cash that way for Bandos and actually get yourself some useful melee exp in the process. Bandos really makes a tiny difference compared to lesser armors, I just wear it because I like it and because I can :P

If you're losing much money training slayer, you're either doing something very wrong, or pulling out all stops for quicker exp (cannon). Pick up those coins, alch those drops, bring back some good herbs, wear something that's not barrows unless you're healing with Guthan's, and I'd be amazed if you came out behind using a couple super sets and 5k in Guthan's repairs per task. Heck, I've been ranging my safespottable tasks with addy bolts, and I'm coming out ahead.

With such a tiny difference, and my tendency toward strength bonus (owner of full Bandos and owned a berserker ring when I was still training melee :P), I'd just as soon go with the much cheaper dragon boots. However, I can definitely see the argument for Bandos, and added that to the guide.

thanks for the information =D i might try for 83 summoning now. got fire titan recently and i must say, it's getting tiring because all of it's dialogue is song lyrics Hahaha, the lava titan is all limericks, so I wouldn't get too excited about that. "Well, I'm rather busy at the moment, but--" *lava titan says limerick I failed to memorize* For the people who think a beast of burden is better for the KBD... Don't knock the titan until you try it. There's no reason to extend your trip when you have 61 minutes of infinite teleports to literally 20 seconds away from the KBD. Heck, there's no reason even to use expensive fish, might as well just bring cheap fish and kill three or so. Then teleport, restore prayer, bank, and go back.

No, all damage spells have the same cast time. Lol @ people who think testing means casting one spell, then another, and deciding one looks faster.

I actually just tried that out today. It does help, but not a whole ton. If you're banking the 500g pieces, you'd be better off with a beast of burden, but if you're just camping out, the lava titan would be a help.

Can anyone guess who received mod powers on this new chat? Lol yup. Every single one of the mods are like that as far as I can tell. Total kiss-ups who will defend Pope against any dissent. I shudder to think what the chat must be like.

For gods sake, calm the hell down. Only TWO people said it, its not my fault 5 have to respond, sounding like no one has said it yet. And, "most people"? I was the first who asked, they said otherwise, (two people did) and then the other guy asked. Three people said it, two after people had already said no. I don't want people to be disappointed trying to mine rune at 75.

I don't see how they compete, unless you mean you like using the unicorn to fight the KBD... It's not like you really need any healing familiar to fight green dragons or mine adamant/rune. And if you do mean using the unicorn on the KBD... banking is so quick with the titan that it's almost pointless to focus on extending your trip. Go with a load of lobsters, kill as many as you can, bank, repot, and teleport right back.
