There's something called bones for peaches tabs- they only take up one inventory space and cost negligibly more than casting the spell.

If you just want the magic exp, you can alch feathers and get 2gp each.

Oh yes. Assuming you don't get a visage at irons or something. Even per spell you'll be getting much more exp- irons have high magic defense and aviansies have virtually none.

Magic trees are brutally slow exp, and tend to be not very good money-wise either. Yews are generally considered to be better overall.

Let's put it this way. If I said you could roll a 6-sided die one every second, or flip a coin once every minute, with a reward every time the coin came up heads or the die came up 6, which would you choose? Statistically, it's better to go with the die, because the extra tries add up to more of the desired result per minute than the coin. Similarly, if you're looking for the talon beast event, you want to just power through the other ones as quickly as you can. On the medium and hard paths, events can take quite a while to finish. On the easy path, they are easily cleared.

If you bank the yak hides you can even make a tidy profit ^_^

So this morning I was organizing my bank and noticed a new "Deposit 50,000" function. Cool, cool. Later on I came back and found it had been lowered to 500. I laughed at whoever had made the typo up at Jagex and continued on my way. Just now, I got back from an iron dragon task and was met by a "Deposit 9,000" function. What's going on here? Am I somehow changing the value myself (that would be awesome to be able to set it myself!), or is Jagex just tweaking it? Or is it totally random? Is anybody else even experiencing this, or am I crazy?

Nope, you heard wrong. EVERY potion costs less than the ingredients to make it. You'd be better off training combat, slayer, the resource gathering skills, or runecrafting.

I doubt Jagex will ever let anymore bugs pass them by. With more staff nowadays, they won't release something they haven't prefected and made 100% that it ran smoothly. If your last quest point was given to you by the update, it could either be an intentional raise to keep the requirement the same, or a bug with the new quest point not working properly. I'd solve it by going and doing another quest first.

If you refer to the section of the Monkey Madness guide where you make your first gree gree, the process is pretty similar. If I remember correctly, you need the bones of the proper monkey and a blank gree gree, and then you just go through that hellish zombie monkey tunnel to the gnome, who will enchant them for you.
