Go to the events forum and find an open gilded altar. The house owner is usually responsible for keeping the burners lit- you can donate herbs or money to them if you feel like being nice. The house will probably be in Yanille. You have two choices- the slower cheaper way, or the faster more expensive way. The slow method involves walking from the bank to the house portal and back again. The fast method involves using law and dust runes to teleport to your own house (which you will have moved to Yanille), leaving and entering the other house, and then proceeding as usual. When you finish, hopefully they have a glory amulet somewhere nearby- use that to bank. I HIGHLY recommend using the best beast of burden you have access to, it really speeds things up for almost no cost.

I just did 900 bursts (9 lobs) and got 98 crimson charms >_< Rotten luck.

They won't drop pouches until you do the Zammy mage miniquest.

That is basically the best you can get, I would also buy guthans to use to heal but if you don't find it useful you could always resell it. Oh yup, Guthans too. And Karils top and bottom for tasks with magic, and proselyte for prayer tasks. And Veracs skirt for those tasks where you need the extra def (use it with Guthan plate).

You could try your hand at hunter! First, go down to Feldip Hills (look it up on a map) with some bird snares (you can pick those up in Yanille Hunter Store on your way). Catch the red birds until you're level 19, then the green ones until 29, which shouldn't take long at all. Then, do the quest Priest in Peril to get into Morytania. Look up a map for the swamp lizard hunting spot. If you catch those (bring a couple ropes and small fishing nets- they're reusable) and bank them, they're worth over 1k each on the GE.

Do Smoking Kills before training combat, the points you get are extremely useful. Train controlled, or you'll find yourself needing a weapon that trains strength and not being able to use your whip (yes, I got most of the way to 99 str on controlled, it's possible).

Do Smoking Kills and then train Slayer with melee.

Train up a little bit and join one of those lowish level Bandos mobs. Go often and have coinshare on. Eventually you will get good drops, and then you will stop being poor. After that, train more and then do the Saradomin boss. Excellent money to be had there.

For rangers, yes; for mages? It costs a lot to use fire waves. You get about 2.2k every kill, excluding all drops except addy bars. It doesn't take too many casts to kill an aviansie, their def is terrible.

More like merchants going "I'll buy 500k of this item for mid, and then sell it back at max asap," which would screw up prices.

If your training magic with combat is costing you money in the long run, you should be at aviansies. They turn a consistent profit.

Maging aviansies is more reliable than irons, but they don't have any big drops. So if you have terrible luck at metals like I do, aviansies are better.

I'm not sure if it's more cost-effective, but diamond bolts work quite well. You could also try broad bolts if you can make them, cheap and almost as good as addy.

Because, as was already said, you can't sell back an item you just bought off the GE. Wait 6 hours and try again.

Slayer mask, helmet as soon as you can scrounge up the points. Amulet of fury. Bandos plate Bandos tassets Dragon boots. Highest Recipe for Disaster gloves you can get. Work on getting barrows gloves. Berserker ring or ring of wealth if you feel like it helps Skill cape, fire as soon as you can get one. Whip, with an SGS for the specials. Dragonfire shield. Edited to reflect "money is no object." AKA the slayer outfit I use :P

Whats the exp/hour and how much would 99 cost? I thought in one of the rooms there was more then the max amount of mummies, And they drop Rune stuff and Ancient Staffs. :S Oh yeah, forgot about the drops. Sorry lol.

I don't see how... you have to pray for both, and you spend time waiting for mummies to spawn, killing less than the maximum amount at a time.

Don't do mummies, they're fixing the Ape Atoll skeletons according to a J mod on the forums.

I don't know what to do but to laugh at you. My SGS has helped me make over 60mil at God Wars, and I still have it to sell if I want to. I can also, as I've shown here, use it to kill iron dragons without prayer potions. What "better things" are you going to use the money on? Prayer levels that barely do anything? You do realize that any stat you buy can't be sold back, right? I still have my SGS after getting all this use out of it. Buy 99 prayer and that money is gone. Maybe you'll understand one day when you have enough money. Until then, try not to lash out at people with more money than you out of jealousy.
