  1. No, but if you go to a crowded world and go to the two steel spawns nearest the entrance, you have a good shot.
  2. Yeah i kno my stats are bad for bgds, but Ive saved up most of the money already. Now I"m mostly gonna train combat to get ready to own with it. Do you think it is better than zammy gds? Depends on what you're doing. For monster hunting: Sara>Arma>Bandos>Zamorak For Bounty Hunter: Arma>Zamorak>Bandos>Sara For Castle Wars: Zamorak>Arma>Bandos>Sara For Dueling: Sara/Arma>Bandos>Zamorak
  3. I can confirm that if I hit the Kalphite Queen with a 67 bgs spec, she doesn't fare too well.
  4. If you have Guthans, don't bother healing the poison. Bring a dose of anti and take it when you leave. Otherwise you'd run through antipoison pretty quick and have to break up the trip banking for more. It doesn't do that much damage.
  5. Duradel. If you don't have Karamja gloves, use a teleport to Ardougne, boat to Brimhaven, and cart to Shilo. Actually not a long trip at all. Oh, and you want to kill the Kalphite Soldiers.
  6. Slayer all the way. You'll be glad you got the slayer exp down the line, and the black mask bonus is really quite awesome.
  7. Cool, thank you ^_^
  8. Yeah, I figured as much. That's a little different though, because I never had to put anything into that.
  9. Let's say hypothetically I have mahogany everything in my costume room. And hypothetically it's so cheap to buy the best flatpacks now that I feel like I might as well. If I hypothetically destroyed, say, a mahogany magic wardrobe and replaced it with a marble magic wardrobe, would my stuff still be in it? Or would I have to take all that crap to the bank? Please only post if you have first hand experience, guesswork will do very little here. Thanks!
  10. I'm still thinking about that... Probably: Raw and cooked food/ingredients Runes/Runecrafting/Magic Herblore/potions Weapons/armor/slayer Miscellaneous tools and quest items Ores/bars Ranged armor, weapons and ammo Seeds and farming tools OH! And a clue scroll item tab as the poster above said. And then I'll look at the rest of my bank and find out what I forgot.
  11. Here are a couple reasons I can think of why nature rune prices are dropping: Fewer people are alching these days. A lot of people who would have alched to 99 are drawn to bursting rock lobsters and training summoning at the same time, and yew log prices are at an all time high. Now that we can do something useful with most summoning pouches (trading in for charms), alching those for the sake of getting a return is out too. The spirit Graahk. I don't care about the debate regarding how fast you can craft that way compared to the abyss (though I'm inclined to believe that it is slightly faster). What matters is the fact that people think that it's faster. Thus, people are excited to train their summoning up, buy a few Graahks, and try it out. If they like it, you have somebody into crafting natures who wouldn't have been otherwise, regardless of whether they're really making them at a faster rate. These people also won't move on to laws even when abyss Runecrafters recognize the advantage, because the Graahk is specific to the nature altar.
  12. This makes 3/3 Tip.it suggestions on this forum I've seen that have ALREADY BEEN IMPLEMENTED.
  13. Yup lol. My first memory is accidentally clicking on a goblin and freaking out. I did that several times. My favorite early memory is going to al kharid guards and being told I need to pay 10 gp to pass. I was like come on what am I made of money Ill walk around (since walking was all people know of back then). I do miss the days of the old learning curve. What do you want to be? Ummm a miner. OK heres a pickaxe you are now lvl 8 in mining go find the mines yourself. Of course they were nowhere close to where you started out. Man I remember wondering around for hours looking for them. Haha, at least you chose something useful like Mining. I chose mage. Hmm... now how the hell do I cast spells? The magic book wouldn't tell you what the runes were called, so I didn't even know enough to ask where to get mind, water, air and cosmic runes lol.
  14. Yup lol. My first memory is accidentally clicking on a goblin and freaking out.
  15. Assuming no alliances and just sticking with the normal AI, Zilyana would win. Both of her attack styles are ridiculously strong and quick, and she has pretty great defense.
  16. That's a really good way to put it. Of course, this could be fixed by implementing untradable benefits from the skills :D That would make skillers self-beneficial, wich would not solve that problem. He's talking about giving services.(Assist system.) It wouldn't directly solve the problem of exp costing money, no. It would solve the problem of skilling being worthless, which is really the root of the issues here.
  17. aright i linked it. ive also posted my thoughts. Ooooh, that was YOU. I was wondering what thread you were talking about lol. Awesome, thank you very much! I guess, given the circumstances, I won't link to your post in the RSOF then lol.
  18. I think you should check out my skilling suggestion (see sig). You see, the problem isn't that there are too many high levels, it's that there's not enough to DO at the high levels. With high and mid levels essentially taking up the same room, because you reach a ceiling and stop in far too many skills, there is an issue. If high level meant 90+ in most skills, there would be very very few high levels, and the issues would subside.
  19. My suggestion to fix this problem has been posted on the RSOF, quickfind can be found in my sig! If you see this as a problem, I strongly encourage you to come down and check it out. If you like it, great, leave your support and a bump! If you don't, tell me how I can improve my ideas! :D Hopefully this thread can become big enough to actually change something about the way Jagex (and players) view skills.
  20. i take it you did't read that the high task isen't going to be hard at all? The point wasn't "what is the diary going to be," it was "what COULD the diary have been if Jagex hadn't decided to exclude the high level part of the diary."
  21. Craft a diamond ammulate on the lumby furnace Grow a yew tree Chop a yew log in the grave yard Use the cross-bow agility to cross the lake from lumby - al karid make a high level pie/food on the stove in lumby castle Or if those aren't high enough, make a GLORY amulet, grow and chop a MAGIC tree, smith a rune/adamant bar, get over 100 tears in Tears of Guthix, complete a lap of the Dorgeshuun agility course (it's under Lumbridge, not sure if that will be in range or not)... If there are high level activities in Varrock, there damn well are high level activities in Lumbridge.
  22. HAH! I KNEW it! I just FINALLY reorganized my bank, which had been out of hand for months. As I did it, I was thinking "of course, now I do this, they're going to release bank organization." Not two weeks later, we get this BTS. Also, I'm moderately upset that the Lumbridge diary is not going to include high level tasks. What a nice slap in the face to the high level community there, Jagex. Just when I thought we had the perfect formula for updates, with something for everyone, they REMOVE the high level part. Next one had better be medium, hard and expert, though I doubt it... 90+ skill reqs pl0x?
  23. My thoughts exactly. Heck, even the top 1 million is nothing, and level 30 is easily under a day's work in any skill (I usually get 60 the first day trying a new skill). What could be harmed by showing ALL the levels?
  24. That's a really good way to put it. Of course, this could be fixed by implementing untradable benefits from the skills :D
  25. I use high detail all the time (no lag at all, I can run fullscreen in world 2 without incident), but only use fullscreen some of the time. If I'm multitasking, I obviously don't, and also when I'm doing something where I need to be on top of things like fighting mithril dragons or bosses. The latter will go away as I get used to the interface, but I'm not quite quick enough at finding the prayer and inventory menus yet for my liking; I don't want to get killed by a mith while I'm trying to get to my inventory for a shark. Full screen on a wide screen monitor is absolutely beautiful though, and the extra area you can view is invaluable for places where you need it like Fist of Guthix.
