That method didn't look very cheap or easy, and you couldn't have been ranging while eating those sweets very easily. That was more of a show-offy thing than a practical method.

Oh, awesome. Achievement diaries are hands-down my favorite kind of update (excluding just generic high level skill updates like pies). I love it when I actually have to train to get something new, and both hard diaries have posed some sort of challenge to me (gout weed for Karamja and smithing for Varrock).

This will go away in a week when everybody's done downloading the update. This happens EVERY SINGLE UPDATE, but varies in severity depending on how big of an update it is. And every time a big update comes out people forget this and freak out.

It's a combination of both. I'm not lagging because I can more than double run the new graphics. People more on the fence are going to be more affected by the fact that tons of people are constantly downloading the new graphics from the servers.

I am so freaking excited that I can permanently disable roofs.

Either I don't have talkback, or I can't find it. Talkback is a tool used by Mozilla to submit software crash reports. I don't see why you'd want to disable that if you're crashing. :? I have talkback and it's running just fine, so I don't think that's enough to make you crash. I'd just restart and clear your RAM; it worked for me. They both use Java, so on slower computers they can clash and cause issues.

More curse spells is actually a fantastic idea. Higher level curses which require blood, soul and body runes which are actually useful would be awesome. Ooh, maybe there could be a curse which makes all damage done to a player increase by 30% for the next 5 seconds! That would solve the KO problem and head off the imminent issue of soul runes costing less than bloods. I also like the idea of a contruction farming garden. I was totally expecting one when the skill came out, to be honest. Both ideas will be added to the first post :D Thanks for the support everyone!

Saradomin Sword is FAR superior for killing waterfiends to a Godsword. This coming from the owner of an SGS who fights waterfiends with a Zamorakian Spear.

That I'll believe, but my test task was 73 dragons, which took 50 minutes. That adds up to a better kill rate than you, and I didn't use prayer potions. That's gotta count for something, right?

If you don't bother with the SGS, this method doesn't slow you down in any way. Just throwing that out there, since you seem to think that this method wastes time. Think of it like finding free prayer potion on the ground. I'm also going to go ahead and say that I HIGHLY doubt that you can finish a task of 73 irons in under 40 minutes. That's a ridiculous claim.

Way back in, oh, probably early '03... Full rune and rune 2h. Full rune was whatever the shop price is, and the 2h was around 200k. This is when 100k was about like 10mil now lol.

Interesting... Proselyte top is -30 more crush def for +3 more prayer. On the other hand, it doesn't need repairs. I might try it out next time I go down there.

That feels much more like "bug abuse" than "game feature" to me, even if it does work occasionally. A real KO spell complete with game balance would be nice.

Well, a Guthan plate has 20 crush defence on Veracs, but is lacking 5 prayer bonus. To me, it feels like 1 prayer bonus is worth much more than 4 crush defence. Keep in mind that you get to heal hp while your prayer is on, so prayer lasting longer = more hp. I would not recommend trying to do this in armor other than Veracs.

Way more than 150. I end up getting 600 damage every round just attacking portals, so ANYBODY can get 300. If they really can't, they don't deserve to benefit, because they sure aren't helping.

@Muggi: Was that... did you use graphic lag to do a double hit? Okay... innovative, but useless. You're going to max about a 55 with that, and it's half the speed of normal magic spell. That's weaker AND slower than a Godsword, they have plenty of time to eat to full hp. I mean, I guess you could KO somebody with under 80 hp if you're lucky, but 99 mages should be able to KO somebody a little higher level than that. @Great_one: Thanks :D

Yay I inspired someone :). But yea I liked your idea about the [bleep]es. Maybe take it to RSOF? Yeah, the plan is to make one of those giant suggestion threads on the RSOF, but I'm starting it off here to gather some feedback first.
