Hehe, I'm onto the fight against Dessous now. My tactic is to try and melee him with protect melee on, the salve amulet (Dessous is technically undead), a LOT of food and hopefully a lot of high hits (the dragon mace must be used for something... :P). If you have any tippers, just say.

Yes... Yes I were. :) I killed him at last doing melee protect with zamorak robes (given to me by a very nice person) and a dragon mace. :D Now I'm having a little bit of troubles handling Dessous with the same tactic... I never get to hit him at all. :(

how true man, how true lol... tights... first frend i ever mad was a lvl 3 on classic, i helped him train and we became buddies/rivals. but now he's banned for hacking, and even tried hacking me :cry: I'm a woman. :P Zape, the other person competing against Zongie for first combat place was ladykilljoy, but then came the race to 99 prayer by Zonghui and the other fellow...

There's a problem with that tactic: Ice barrage. How am I supposed to avoid that spell especially when I am wearing armour lowering magic defence? :?

[This went on until he got to be the first Runescape friend I had. :D ] Typical conversation in the present: (two people were calling each other names when I entered the room.) S: Lol, a level 93 wearing rune and a mirror shield. (directed at me, I was in the waterfall collecting a fire giant bone.) M: Hey now, watch your language you two... S: What are you gonna do? Axe spec me? M: What's wrong with my axe? I surely do more damage than you with knives. S: Lol and a mirror shield too, noob. M: I'm not the one hiding behind a table wearing tights. Bubye! (I had just found the bone and left to avoid prolonging the silly fight). -------------- Moral: The good community is dead. Runescape is dead without its good community so now it's just a walking corpse of immaturity. :(

I don't really like dying... It costs me a lot. :P

I did bring several restores and I can cast fire blasts, but I can't do anything when I am frozen and was stuck till I got several 19s in a row... :cry: Where can I get a death talisman and where is its altar? I need to make me hundreds more again. :cry:

Alright, I am a bit desperate now... I am level 93 and I have tried several times killing this hard monster. The first tries ended with near death while the latest got me killed and I lost a lot of runes as well as pieces of my splitbark armour... Could anyone who has done this quest aid me in what ways I can finish him off? It just seems to always freeze me and I couldn't even warp out last time... :cry:

People forgot to mention bringing restoration, energy and agility potions if you can make them as the arena gets very annoying when the darts lower your agility...

For a second there I thought they could polymorph you. XD

A. Cut the logs instead? B. Make the Nature Runes? C. All of the above? Not only you get more money from that, but you also raise experience in other skills. :P

I ditched that ring for the Ring of Charos ever since Garden of Tranquility came out... :?

The things to do when: A, somebody does the "hidden password" scam - Type out random babble and tell them it did not work. B, somebody begs from you - Beg at them, telling them they have a very rich character when they tell you otherwise. C, someone tries to lure you into the wilderness - Either go with a cheap highly poisonous weapon such as a rune/dragon dagger with the belladonna poison (takes about 8 each time instead of the casual 4 from the blue dragon poison) or teleport as soon as they're skulled (be inventoryless if you prefer the dying part). Those are the most common scams to ever happen to me. :P

I never died during a quest, even when I fought Nezikchened in all his might (no holy blast and bottles) on classic... The boss fight against Treus was just as challenging. ^^
