Most of my classic friends are kind of famous and met them regularly (except me): Iantiger- resident mod here (and one of my oldest friends), Chewy Shoe- my money advisor (very reknown merchant, betting he can buy everything my account owns in one sweep), Rob1ten- Unjustly banned and one of my closest RS friends (used to be in top 1000 until he got banned for reasons unexplained), Musashi22- Retired or probably took me off list from my years of inactivity; a very nice person overall, was usually set in Shilo's anvils to detract attention (Inarguably the best smith in Runescape), Mod Bennett- Where are yoooouuu? (revealed the black holes in the game to me, probably stuck in a new one :cry: ) Non-friends who I met: Tks- I saw her smithing in seers a lot years back (the longest running top player of Runescape classic), Fook A Ji- As usual he used to harrass poor Ardougne paladins for thieving (one of the first to hit 99 thieving), Ladykilljoy- Mostly was seen in Catherby messing about (most powerful woman in Runescape classic),

I've got an even better idea: Make a quest involving construction that lets you build your own (NPC) town! The reward would expand the room limit to 50 and then people will randomly flock into it to live in their own homes. :P

Runeburger: A tasty bun stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes and a runite burger. :P

Get to at least 80 combat, then you get the REAL slayer experience once you get 150+ fire giant assignments. :)

They were still deciding what colour would Runite be. I only joined about November 2001 and was still a newbie for much, so I can't tell if any major happened before then. :(

A true example of Karma: Several years ago (2002) I gave my friend who lost everything full rune and a dragon sword which was the only weapon I had while almost finishing heroes. A month later, he comes back to me and gives it back along with a disk of returning, two crackers and a pumpkin. ^^

You do the shade temple to powercraft. It's definetly the best way to powerlevel crafting.

Some of Runescape's true legends: Zonghui: The very first person to ever max out all combat skills, especially known for reaching 99 prayer first on classic. Bluerose13x: Our great blue, the very first player who reached 99 smithing and got the first rune 2h swords in Runescape. Merlin and Lightning: Yup, our Lightning and Merlin are the first two official Runescape accounts ever made. Musashi22: The most famous smith in Runescape back then for his free smithing and stabilising the price of rune equipment as it is today (rune 2h swords never went below 800k). Kaitnieks: Yes, the cracker duper himself. He invented the duper and when people started to exploit it... You know the rest. He's not remembered for the dupe mostly but the fact that he has managed to breach Runescape's tough security. THESE are some of the people players will and should remember forever. Durial hardly did anything so gamebreaking like the previously mentioned people did to be considered a legend... PS. I pioneered the coloured capes craze on classic, why aren't I a legend? :wink:

A mysterious elf who appears just before you finish Regicide seems to be wearing a khaki legends cape too.

No, this topic was not a waste at all, seeing the hundreds of other topics with people complaining and their "loot" from someone who died by accident it's actually gratifying to see this. You are very noble Sidekick and earned by admiration. :)

It would be ideal to have them dropped by a level 99 slayer monster, preferrably something like the Dragonkin the King Black Dragon works for? It would be around level 400 at the very top of the slayer tower (with several other floors added).

Dharok: The strongest armour, having a special dealing more damage the lower your health. Guthan: The most cost-efficient, since it saves you having to carry a lot of food. Torag: The "best" armour, having the highest stat points of all the armour in the game. You can choose either of those for melee, otherwise for: Magic: Arm yourself with a slayer staff, full mystic robes and any god cape. Ranged: At least iron arrows/knives with best equippable ranged robes. For the whip: I have mixed feelings about this since the only thing it can raise is attack... It's probably best arming yourself with either a dragon weapon that trains them all or a barrows weapon matching the armour you have.

The only way to heal the void knight is to destroy the portals.

With my home in Taverly: I can use the games necklace to get there, There is a bank fairly closeby, Teleport portals to Camelot, Yanille and Canifis not wasted as such, Closest home to Keldagrim, Those are what I can think about now.

I've had several partyhats ever since they dropped, but why would I want a complete reset? Tens of thousands of players would quit and Runescape would close down. Nice idea genius. :roll:

Since when did pure essence jump from 30 to 70 each?

I have an answer for that: Beer barrels! If your friend or you have a level 3 (not construction level, the "stage") workbench you can make portable barrels so friends can have them/buy them. :)

Third Place - The Blast Furnace: The only place I smelt and smith. Second Place - Agility Arena: The feel of a challenge while training the skill is how it's meant to be. :) First Place - The Shades of Mort'ton: Definetly my favourite minigame for experience in several skills. If only people would go less on world 2 and more on world 27. :(

And probably the slowest. It is kind of long but looking at it on the bright side doing this 1000 times gets you a certified million, possibly in a day. :P
