  1. this post is a bit pointless sorry, it turns out i was mistaken and everyone loves quests. btw lavaownz i found your herblore guide very helpful and i used it extensively recently, but it would be much more effective if you could bold all the titles for second ingredients etc.
  2. I love quests, the longer/harder the better IMO, and have a quest cape, and look forward to the new quest every month more than other updates. I see people showing off on the forums all the time about how little quest points they have and how they dont like quests. These people must find it annoying that many areas, equipment and abilities can only be accessed after quests. I think jagex probably puts the most effort into the quest updates compared to other updates and it shows Should jagex take away the advantages of players who do quests? Your thoughts?
  3. I am the first player to have my exact skill total, In new zealand, on a southwesterly, windy night, while watching infomercials, within three weeks of the winter solstice! well im pretty sure i am anyway, im probably second or third. rate this first ever achievement
  4. yay, my 20th post and my first emoticon :-# I also find it annoying to have a conversation while i am playing. and am proud of my empty friends list, even more so now that i realise how people seem to think it is so ridiculous to play wothout friends/ talking
  5. i am pleasantly surprised with the responses, i like that a lot of people play, like me, alone. I was sure people played like that but just didnt post as much I dont really want a clan, unless it was the "i just like skilling by myself clan" and this isnt a "i dont have any friends" thread this is a "im happy without rs friends" thread. I do talk to people fleetingly, but its not like im going to form any long term relationship i.e. finding my wife, let alone talking to the same person twice. I started sheild of arrav before i knew about the forums and i didnt know what i was supposed to do, noone, like now, was on my friends list and i was confused lol.
  6. haha yea, sorry about the topic name, its way too dramatic. I am also killing high level monsters for the first time trying to get an item, which i am enjoying, even though it is eating through my prayer pots. That visage would be pretty sweet though
  7. I like to go about my business quietly as well. Questing is the favourite part of the game, i would definately do it with out the rewards I guess i am a walking contradiction because i am enjoying my own electronic conversation right now
  8. Is there anyone out there whom i can relate too? I Have no friends on runescape and i dont really see a need to have rs friends, but when i look on the forums i see that the community is something which other users value. I dont talk to my rl friends about runescape at all, and they dont know i spend so much time on it when i go home. I dont PK at all and i have hundreds of pots that i dont really know how to use. I have little money and I value my autonomy, but it seems to me like i play for different reasons, there is nothing wrong with this but i find it hard to believe that noone else is the same for all these reasons i feel disjointed from the runescape community, and i was hoping there was someone else on the forums who can looks at the forums and all the petty arguments and wonders how pwople can take it so seriously
  9. I have killed about 200 irons, all on slayer tasks. I manage about 15 irons per trip, how many do you guys get? It does sound like ppl are getting the drop off black dragons more, maybe i should change. Are people who have the shield stoked with how it performs?
  10. haha i thought my level 65 slayer was pretty good. I would have awesome herblore, moneys, farming and items if i had trained my combat on slayer, instead of being greedy and going to pest control.
  11. I really enjoy quests, and i think they are the best part of the game. the annoying ones, for me, are the ones that dont take skill or ability. i.e. one small favour. My favourite quests are the ones with kickass monsters to fight at the end, like dream mentor. or quests where you need really high requirements, like rfd my vote goes to gertrudes cat, whats up with that quest?
  12. some questions: im 72 agility, in your opinion should i train dorgush kaan or ape atoll or wilderness? ~Zargo
  13. blood runes, whats up with that?

  16. I was hoping that perhaps someone could tell me all the skill levels that are required to complete all the quests. I searched for it but couldnt find it on the forums so if you just send me a thread that would be sufficient thanks

  22. Their once was a indian tribe trekking across the rockies in order to exact some revenge on cowboys that disrespected their burial ground The indian cheif was told by one of his clairvoyants that a monster would attack his camp that night. So he set up his number 1 indian warriors to gaurd him while he sleeps but when he wakes up in the morning they are all dead. The next morning he sets up all his second tier indian warriors to try and protect him but once again when he wakes up they are all dead. So on the third night he sets up all of his tribe to gaurd him thinking that their is no way that one monster could kill his whole tribe. But he awoke to his entire tribe being slaughtered. The cheif continued the trwek anyway and set up camp on the fourth night but he was awoken that same night by heaviy breathing. He opened his eyes to see an enourmous monster leaning menicingly over him. "ahhhhhhh" he screamed "you must be the monster". "no, im not" said the monster
