Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I'll never understand why idiots feel the need to film a live performance with a shitty cellphone.

Maybe ask him whether you can't put the mini fridge elsewhere? Some place both of you could reach seems easier than just buying a whole different one for your own.

That lull in a conversation when you realize you have nothing left to talk about. Also, accidentally posting in the wrong thread.

I haven't posted here in a while because, while I did have a lot of fun the past few weeks, there wasn't a lot I could tell you guys about it that wouldn't be like reading a diary. I'll just say that I solidified existing friendships and forged new ones. I went to work, I drank, I smoked a bunch of weed and all in all just had a ball. It feels like this summer's been going on for ages, just because so much has happened in it. But last night was a bit different. We went a bit old-school mode: we went out for a night on the town in a way we hadn't done since over a year. It was my three best friends and two girls that used to be in our class. It was great fun. It was also a bit of an eye-opening experience, but to be honest, it's not worth writing it all out because first of all, it'd take a lot of back story, secondly, I'd rather keep it private and third of all, probably no one gives a [bleep]. Anyway, more work today, then a birthday party. EDIT: Funny coincidence: I just received my first two payment e-mails from McDonald's (well, the company that does the student employment for them). When I added both of the wages together that I received over the past two weeks, I ended up with 420 euros.

Things That Make You Smile :)
Crawling in bed after a long, tiring day. Or, in a similar fashion, finding a comfortable seat after standing up for a long while.

This is a bit of a weird one, but when you're talking to someone who's on a different sobriety level than you. Or in less fancy term, trying to converse with an incredibly drunk (or otherwise intoxicated) guy when sober or vice versa. Both parties end up getting annoyed with the other, because the drunk guy just won't shut up and the sober guy just feels awkward.

Today...
Had a chilled out day. I went to bed at around 5:30 am last night, drunk and high, and was happy to find myself waking without a hangover this morning around 10. Showered, got ready for work (McDonald's), worked an easy three hour shift. Then I went home and relaxed a bit, then loaded the guitar up in my car and jammed with a couple of friends for about an hour, after which I went back home so I could work another two hour shift. Again, easy shift, I spent most of my time just doing random stuff around the kitchen, no one rushing me or anything, and getting to know my colleagues. Also, I've noticed that lately I want to talk much more. I'm usually relatively quiet, but lately I've been really forcing myself to shut up every once in a while so I don't just ramble on and on.

Actually, it just makes it seem like you feel far superior over others when that's not the case (not meant as a personal attack). When I hear someone say "plebs", I imagine a guy in a monocle saying it as he's being carried by two slaves through a busy Victorian-era London marketplace.

Or when you keep them in too long and they're incredibly difficult to get out because they're sticking so hard. Also, Sbrideau, if I recall correctly, exercising regularly would make you sweat faster and not slower. Since your body's used to having to sweat while exercising, it'll start sweating faster whenever you're physically moving in preparation for exercise.

I said I'd pull an all-nighter and I prevailed with an eventful night. There was a party in the next town. Great music, great people, great mood. We drank some strong liquor before we headed out there, that kept me nicely buzzed throughout the evening. It started falling apart around 3 though, with on the one hand my friend nearly being beaten up and on the other hand a girl who'd drank way too much. She was having some kind of weird convulsions. After making sure my friend could leave safely, I stayed with the girl with a few other friends. Left that place around 5 AM. Then around 5:30, two of the friends I was with took a cab back home, I decided not to take it and instead to walk because I didn't want to spend my last money. Now it's 6:30ish am and I'm finally home. On the way back, I met a biker who'd come from the same party. The guy was lying down on the grass when I passed him, I asked him if he was okay and we struck up a conversation for a bit as we were heading in the same direction. All in all, good evening with a bit of a low point. Also, I love living at the beach. It was a beach party on the sand. Awesome.

DIY flame throwers in the form of a can of deodorant and a lighter. Even better if you use it to kill mosquitoes (not at home obviously, but outside when there's lots of 'em in one spot). Yeah, I'm a bit of a pyromaniac.

Today...
Jetlag finally caught up to me. When I came home from the trip at 6PM, I immediately slept until 3AM the next morning (yesterday). Then I just stayed up because I couldn't fall back asleep and end up staying awake till around 1:30 AM, as I was chilling with my friends who I hadn't seen in over a month. Then I slept till, no exaggeration here, 7PM. That's 18 hours of (albeit interrupted) sleep. I'd never felt so tired before, I tried getting out of bed at 4PM, but ended up just going right back and sleeping some more. Now it's 4AM and I have no idea how I'll get back to sleep. There's a party Saturday, I'm thinking of just staying up all night then and falling asleep in the evening so I can get my sleep schedule back on track.
