School Guards Break Child's Arm/Arrest Her For Dropping cake
To puff up the story more. As much as i find this incredibly outrageous, i have to say something is missing. Yes yes, i hate to be that skeptic, and i know how power hungry stupid security guards can be, but i don't think it can be this simple. Maybe i'm just in denial of the fact that I have lost faith in any sort of public safety.

Its gettin' towards that time of year
I really hope you aren't referring to me. I am so glad i go to University of Michigan, instead of Michigan State University. With the release of 300 (the movie) there will be so many Leonituses. It won't even be close to original. . .

Close Encounters With The Famous Kind.
I met Mike Hart at a party at the University of Michigan. He was bumpin' and grindin' with some chicks. I talked to his friend and asked if that was him (it was dark), and he gave some lame name and tried to cover it up. I got closer and it was definitely Mike Hart. Him and Alan Branch (i think) were at Chi Phi during welcome week. It was awesome.

Music and Studying
As everyone else already said, music with lyrics = distracting I find classical/instrumental music works wonders though.

Its gettin' towards that time of year
Its already October! And you know that means, support pagan holidays such as Halloween! Anyways since I am at a major university, and plan to attend all the costume parties, i was wondering what you all had in mind. I really like the group costumes think that is cool to go with people and be like "Hey look at us, we match". Anyways, what funny pop culture references are going to be popular this year. This really isn't pop culture, but me and my friend might go as the two guys from Double Dragon. . .

how to make 75 quick dollars
Go around your neighborhood and have a can and say it is for charity. If you can get 75 people to give AT LEAST a dollar, then you're set. Dishonest, yes. But lets be honest (pun intended), how bad do you really want this thing?

How to make a John Kerry speech interesting:
You can't deny that the kid was resisting arrest. But you have to ask yourself, if you are sitting there eating a bagel and a cop comes up to you and says, "You're under arrest for having a weapon in public", would you resist as well?

Need Confidence Boosting tips...
don't be yourself. Be whatever you want yourself to be. Think of yourself and talk about yourself in very high esteem. People will think you are confident then.

Man wakes up during his own autopsy!!!
I base all my facts of life off of CSI. It is so accurate for a police crime drama. This story is pretty interesting. I wonder if i would even tell him we thought we was dead. "Uhh yeah! We saved you! We thought we lost you there for. . .a couple hours. But good. Damn I am a good doctor"

When was the last time you cried? And why?
Sounds like someone is jealous that I got the casting part in 300 instead.

True story very funny
I must be out of the loop because i really can't think of any sexual innuendo that talks about the "ring" (the pair was tight and kept her ring really shiny).

Woman arrested for putting salt on a burger.
With the low standards of all fast food places, especially McDonalds, a slight slip up like that is hardly grounds for firing. I am just speculating right now, but probably in the training video that they use at Mcdonalds, they are told to not waste food, for food is their profit. I mean if the burger was that big of a deal, he should have stopped eating it, ask for a new one and NOT press charges. The quality of that food is never high. Why should this one girl be punished for doing what she was told?

Nervous, Someone please Calm me Down...
Psh, high school parties. The only thing you have to worry about is that people will snowball and it will end up being a lot of people. I mean its like you invite 5 friends who each have 5 friends who each have 5 friends. that is the ONLY downside to having a party. Oh that and people falling down stairs and dying. But that usually doesn't happen. Hint: When whatever you're drinking starts to taste good, stop.

My issues with Athiests.
That doesn't make any sense. What does explaining your position have anything to do with objectivity? Your entire post leads me to believe you don't understand the concept of objectivity. Maybe you could explain it to me, so I can better understand your position. I know what objectivity is...the point i am trying to make is scientists do nothing other than try to prove themselves to be correct. And they approach these truths by being objective. Christians are subjective in means of that they reject strongly supported theories (IE evolution) for other fictitious material. Since they are Christian, they are obliged to prove Christianity correct. Scientists are just trying to prove truths in general. Or come as close to them as they can. That last statement was about if scientists are wrong, then they say oh well, i will have to try another approach and continue finding facts in life. Instead of a Christian, if proved wrong, would call the thing/person who proved them wrong a sinner or blasphemous.

My issues with Athiests.
Science is only trying to find truths. Science is based around trying to prove a hypothesis. But for in order to the hypothesis to be considered, it must be falsifiable (IE being able to be proven wrong). Things that cannot be tested or proven wrong then go under the philosophy category. Also science must be supported by several independent lines. Scientists never claim to have absolute knowledge. All scientific theories are open to revision in light of new discoveries. The fact that nothing is absolutely certain in the universe is why science makes a lot more sense over Christianity. Christianity tries to stay on one story covering little plot holes that pop out as people examine it. Christianity is not objective because they are trying to convert whoever they may be talking to. (for what reason, we will never know). Christianity is like that stuck up kid who never can be wrong and if he is, he just calls you the three letter G word.

So, if you were lazy enough would you do this?
this fall i am attending the university of michigan. For those of you who don't know what the place is like: Its huge. I have to walk a half mile to get to my nearest class, half mile to my friends dorm, 6 flights of stairs to get to the base level and a mile to get to any of the frat houses. Now i love this. My goal by the end of the year is to have a serious defined calf. In other words: NO.

My issues with Athiests.
Right. If they think they increased tolerance or togetherness, i haven't noticed it. Heh, you live in the South :P ? Heh, no i live in Michigan. Can't get much more north than that. Norse gods ARE manly. . .

My issues with Athiests.
- My issues with Athiests.
So i am thinking that the cycle for this topic roles around about every week and a half (just an estimate). and it always ends up the same way. Warning: if you are easily offended over personal opinions, do not open. =; [hide]Every single topic that comes up in this forum that is related to this is always one sided. The Christians always end up embarrassing themselves. The things they bring up end up being ridiculous and serving no purpose. Either they talk about how atheists have low morals, or quote the bible. It isn't everyone else's fault that Christians were taught to have no tolerance for any other beliefs. And if you disagree, then you really don't know much about your own religion. Christianity has never supported anything other than their own certain sect. I mean even intra-christianity. Protestants disagree with the Catholics and so forth and so on. The point i am trying to make is the Christian society does not take any other beliefs into account. And that is why the Christians posting make fools of themselves. This is just what i notice ON THIS FORUM AND IN MY COMMUNITY. I am not stereotyping Christians in general. Just my experiences[/hide] A little about me: Atheistic. But if god showed up tomorrow, i would accept it. But since its been about 2000 years since any of these "Miracles" happened, i really have a hard time believing. I personally believe that it is good we have such diverse religion. I believe everything in the universe needs to be balanced with some opposition and different thinking. It would be hard to imagine what it would be like if we all agreed on the same things. Just think about that.[/hide] - My issues with Athiests.
