Why do you base things that bad around things that are "illegal"? Legality has NOTHING to do with the ehtics of the situation. It is impossible to say that all things that are illegal are bad. How? Because someone that passed it while you weren't alive pre-formed your opinions on the subject. So please step back and dont judge things on the legality of them. Many eople confuse this issue and decide that since its illegal or frowned upon that it is bad. Legality has no effect on the negativity of it. Think about it.

Well i wouldn't be surprised if it passes. Think of the economic and population boosts. God knows We need it. Deadlast in terms of Economic status in the United States. I have a gender conundrum for you all. Okay so American Citizens can vote at the age of 18. If you know your history, the reason the voting age was changed from 21 to 18 is the fact that during vietnam, 18-20 year olds were the highest percentage killed. The young people found this ridiculous since they were unable to vote. So congress granted them the power to vote at 18. So is it fair that MEN can get drafted and women can't? Isn't the whole reason of the 26th amendment is to make up for the fact that many thousands of 18-20 year old males died during the vietnam war? Why should women get the option to vote at age 18? They are uneligable for the draft. Granted the 15th amendment protects against this, but i find it ridiculous since the only reason the 26th amendment was passed was to give a few civil liberties to the people who FORCED to die for our country, even though women arent forced to die for our country. Equality?

That's actually a really good point. I never really thought about that. The reason rappers get rich is because kids actually buy their cd's. Trapical, i see what you are getting at, and youre right. Its not being stereotypical or rascists, its the truth. The station focuses on the target group or populace that watches that channel. Unfortunately, around where i live, there is maybe 2 black families (exaggeration, but still) and everyone who watches that channel ARE middle class and white. Thats one of the reasons it pisses me off, because it makes everyone around me listen to only rap, which techincally isnt a form of music. Music requires instruments, not drum machines and the same annoying sound clip played over the whole song.

I did some paintig with light. Did the amp with a flashlight. Then had something hold down the shutter while I stood in front with a flashlight and did my face. Maybe I should move to brazil then. I dont know if its just around me, but the amount of music played on MTV is about less than 1 hour. Per week that is. Vh1 is just as bad. They seriously need to change the channel name.

Let me clarify the title: Music Television = lame reality show television? Seriously, how much does that channel piss you off? Who cares who Flava' Flav is going to pick to be married to or whatever? Who cares about fat celebrities trying to lose weight. Who cares about some fake relationship of a couple of teens in the OC? WHO CARES. I hate that channel so much. The irony of the fact it has no music in it, or the one song is plays 10 second clips from between reality shows, pisses me off even more. I hate people :) So how much do you agree with me?
