I dont know if anyone else has pointed this out, but its JUST like "A Brave New World". Freaky.

It doesn't matter how people die. They are dead. Does it really matter to you? Pain is pain. Suffering is suffering. We are all people and the United States seems to think that the world doesnt have feelings because we cry and mourn for 33 deaths in one instance when thousands of people are being killed (Chinese Genocide?) and we do not even recognize it. This is why i make a strict rule of being emotionally detached with all deaths. It makes life easier.

My photo teacher told me today about a contest hosted by apple that lasts 24 hours, starting at 5 pm, lasting till 5 pm the next day. It is coming up really soon, in a week i believe, and i wanted to make all photographers aware. You can find more information about it at apple.com under education. I will be participating in this myself and encourage others to do so as well. Go check it out. It looks like a lot of fun.

One time at a party i took about 4 packs of sticky pads and instead of making a flip book, i made the drawings and laid them out across the house....It looked animated if you followed it for a while...

Your conscious is a man made idea. Your initial reaction to siutation is your concious. Whether you decide to use your brain to disect the situation is another story. That is a really good question, What IS your conscious? I think that is is what we would like to be right. When you tink of your conscious, morality is the first thing that pops into your head, right? Now morality is hard to prove to be correct by any standard, so there is no way to prove your conscious is right. I think that we should really use our brains on when and how to make decisions instead of doing what our concious says. Mainly because we can be programmed from a very young age to believe things that have to foundation or logical backup.

You don't think your religion is true... ...but you believe it is true? Religion has a strangle hold on his common sense? But you don't believe in your religion. You agree with SOME parts of it. I dont get why people say they are christian or mulsim but say "oh those extremists put a bad name to our religion". You ones talking bad about the extremists of the same religion are people who only believe parts of that religion. So why do you get mad at other people when they talk bad about your religion when people actually follow it? For example, not all christians hate homosexuals. In the many sects of christianity most have strict rules against it. Therefore you are not following the religion. The point im trying to make is why do you share beliefs with someone who follows it by the book and then get mad when they do what the holy text says? The reason i dont have a religion is that i can do good on my own and i dont need guidelines on how to make my life and other peoples lives better. Most people say the message is important. You dont need religion to get a message across. You dont have to force ALL of your beliefs down other peoples throats! Spread love and acceptance. Not some filth "written by the hand of god" thousands of years ago.

That's a good way of putting it. I dont think medical advances is considered evolution. Thats just prolonging our already frail body. If anything we are digressing instead of progressing. We have so many comforts in our lives and no physical challenges. Yes we are constantly improving our mental states, but are physically getting lazier. We are only slowing down our evolution, not all animals. They are constantly improving. trying to survive in the world filled by viruses (aka man kind)

Thats because the aetheists dont piss anyone off. They dont force their religion upon others,( if you want to call it a religion) and they dont wage "holy wars" to rid the world of all the sinners. We have nothing to believe in so we have nothing to fight against. Now i know some people judge by groups, aka stereotypes, but think about it. If a group of people following the same religion do something stupid BASED upon the religion, then you can assume everyone will because their religion WANTS them to do it. How is that flawed? Now people who DONT do that ARENT following their religion. Thus when i make generalities it doesnt apply to them because they dont follow that religion. If people want to follow part of a religion, they should find a better one that isnt associated with killing all infidels and unbelievers.

I really don't consider myself to be anti muslim, but when the Qur'ran says that "kill all infidels" and people say oh its not the religion that brings about harm, its the interpretations, i get mad. I am so sick of people defending their stupid religion when obviously it has so many flaws and fallacies and other things that make others wonder why they believe in it. And i feel that i am not insulting any specific group when i say religion causes problems 95% of the time. Because it is true! [/facts]

Err, thats not quite what photoshop phriday is. Take 2 pictures, and combine them to form something funny. Like the most recent on someting awful, was combining animals. Go to the website and check out all of the pictures, they are hilarious and very well done.
