  1. Yes because a 1 year old knows what the sound FA BARELY, KINDA, ALMOST, IN A REALLY MESSED UP WAY, sounds like. This makes me want to slap those two ladies right in their [bleep] mouths.
  2. Barihawk, i can't really understand your mentality. You state one of the most ridiculous statements in the world. "If you don't like it, LEAVE". Now if that doesn't remind you of a redneck who drives a pickup truck with confederate flags in more than 1 spot, then i don't know what to tell you. What you say is a fallacy in logic. Specifically the "Either, Or" rule. Someone states something and you only give one choice to another person. There is no middle ground, IE Fixing the problems in America. Which I believe is what LP was getting at. Meaning, you don't have to go around shouting leave everything you know and own behind because you disagree with a few sections of your country. So please, stop using that statement. People will respect you more and not feel like they have to stop listening to you completely. Also, i can't see why you are trying to defend the celebrities who hire the lawyers who in turn use lame loopholes in the legal system to get them off the hook. I can guarantee that the only defense the celebrities lawyer uses is, " you don't want to make my clients image look bad. They have been exposed to the public too much and shouldn't have their image ruined." Or something as such. So instead of applauding their ability to get them off the hook, why don't you ask yourself if that is really just.
  3. As i sit and watch all of the current sport related news on ESPN, it has become clearer to me about how our system works. As you all know, Michael Vick, the star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, is under allegations of hosting illegal dog fights at his house. There is indisputable evidence that he is guilty and no way around this fact. Also in the news, the NBA referee Tom Donaghy faces charges of betting on games, that have proven to have had mob connections, including games in which he officiated. He is looking at a maximum of 25 years in prison, while on the other hand, Vick, is facing under a year, with the benefit of still playing NFL (Although this is still in the works, i imagine a compromise will be created in his favor). Now how is this fair? I am no animal rights activist, but hosting dog fights (which no doubt include illegal gambling) deserves more than a year (not to mention all of the breaks from prison he will receive, to play football and train and such). Now officiating games that you have placed wagers on and NOT proven that he Fixed the games, as in made lousy calls in favor of the team he was betting on, is worth 25 times as long? Granted the referee must have signed something agreeing not to bet on any of the NBA games, but i still do not see how the legal system is working. The average guy who is also committing a crime, with lesser or equal severity is getting 25 times the prison sentence? You always see in the news that celebrities get DUI's and have some sort of illegal substance in their car and nothing ever happens to them. There is one exception of Paris Hilton who spent a whopping 23 days in jail for something she should not be allowed to drive again and she wrote a book and is profiting from her encounter with a water downed, fluffed up version of the law. I don't care what you say. If you are rich, famous or just well known in general, the law is not fully enforced upon you. What type of society are we to allow this to happen? I know, from experience, if you are caught with a minute amount of Marijuana, you are detrimentally effected. I am disgusted at what we allow to happen.
  4. Teenage pregnancy is a great way to ruin your and your partners life.
  5. I am not going to even bother reading the first 10 pages of this article, nor will i continue to read any of the posts following this one. For one and only one reason. You cannot break down something so delicate in our society today such as Homosexuality into "right and wrong". You must first establish what right and wrong are, and how homosexuality is related to being right or wrong. Since i am against the basis of society and "accepted" morals, i feel it is impossible to determine the basis on which you base your claims crediting or discrediting the status of homosexuality.
  6. There is a point where being naive and ignorant become distinct. You have clearly crossed this border. Now i do not make this flame for no reason, but if you stop to think about the "article" for 30 seconds, could you come up with a crazy twist to the story that they are leaving out? Considering the child was being arrested under the charges of "Criminal Mischief" and "vandalism", i am not sure what part of the story they ACLU (Damn those liberal bastards trying to protect the Bill of Rights! The bill of rights was always the constitutions drunken cousin) is leaving out. So you try and dream up a way the child would deserve to be handcuffed for writing "okay" on the desk. off topic: Please, everyone stop writing about. . . "In MY school, if someone writes on the desk..." EDIT: i forgot to bring up the point; that being why was this article in the early spring?
  7. I want the super power to be able to give myself any super power i want...or invisibility. That would rock
  8. Why doesnt everyone stop pretending to be the saints they arent? I know i would keep it. Hell, I wouldn't think twice about keeping it. As some of you already said, yes, it is karma. Maybe the person who lost it was a terrible person and didnt deserve to have it. Maybe a kid stole it and then lost it. Maybe a kid worked about 20 hours of his life to earn that and mis placed it. Who knows? We will never know. That is why it isn't my problem if someone loses something. Firstly, it will never make or break someones life. Its an iPod. A pleasure. A bonus in life. Its not like you found someones life savings under the table. I guess what I am getting at is why bother to try and do the right thing? Sure the person will be grateful for it being returned, if he does seem to have faith in people and think that someone would report it. But wouldnt it be more important to have that person taught a lesson? Dont leave your sh!t lying around? Life is about personal experiences and how you can go about life with them. Keep the iPod.
  9. I just have a feeling thats not the whole entire story. But whatever.
  10. See and this is what people don't understand. Most people who haven't drank, and never will, have no expertise, per say, in the area and they call anyone who enjoys social drinking to be alcoholics and lame people since they "need" alcohol to have fun. If you haven't even consumed a far amount of alcohol I give you 0% power to judge anyone at all on this thread.
  11. "Life is tryin' to shoot the breeze, and not get life"
  12. To whom is may concern: It is apparent to me in the previous 6 pages of this post, that we have very split stance of opinions on this board. Those of you who wish to call people who enjoy drinking for fun "alcoholics" and "sad people" are not creating any basis for a logical argument. This is called an Ad hominem, meaning attacking a person rather than the issue at hand. This is a common fallacy among all arguments and must be put to an end. If you would like to prove a point in your argument, that is why underage drinking is wrong, then please put it in the following format: "I personally don't like drinking. I mean I read from the Mothers Against Drunk Driving website that 'rinking by children under age 15 seems to be related to a range of behavioral problems, not just a predisposition to alcoholism' (Reference)." This makes you seem more respectable and have a more mature attitude towards things. Just a friendly little reminder on how to post.
  13. Key points to take into consideration: -Cheaper! -Hotels cost more when someone lands on the card that says "upkeep" or whatever and you have to pay per house -Allows more distribution of wealth -Green is a better color -They seem less menacing and thus giving the person a higher chance to subconsciously roll a number that lands him or her onto your housing square
  14. Being a good drunk driver is a very important skill to have. Learn while you're young! It could save your life.

Same here. I saw Night of the Living Dead 2 and i was complete scared for about 4 months. Something about a thing that is unkillable scares the hell out of me. If they are the zombies are like the ones that can be killed by shooting them in the head it doesnt frighten me...but how can we know what type of zombie they are!?!?! Luckily i have the zombie survival hand guide. (its actually my brothers but its hilarious. Ill try to find a link).

  19. Why the hell would anyone make a topic like this? [/spam]
  20. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6623189.stm Summary: Its a test that pregnant mothers can buy if you want to find out the sex of a baby as little as 6 weeks into the pregnancy. Honestly, who can be that impatient? I thoughts thats what ultra sounds were for (among other things of course). I can see chinese people love this invention though....

  24. Orgy Porgy. And when they visit the genetic engineering place it talks about little kids having sex too  Weird! Too bad this didnt happen when we were reading it in class. Easy way to waste an hour.
  25. I really like the first one. The second one uses nice use of playing with the light. The others are interesting, but hard to tell the actual subject of the photo.
