I'm not saying they're doing it for the fun of it, I am acknowledging that they are confused, mentally unstable people. I however don't believe that mutilating your body is the right way to "cure" them as it doesn't actually work they're just very mixed up people that need proper help. Nice argument there "the law is stupid then" how ignorant, you've just made an effort to try and ignore my point because you cant think of a logical way to argue it. I was using it as an example to make my point so it is relevant. As the law is a representation of society, designed to protect its citizens. Born in the wrong body, well if they say so right? I personally don't believe that anybody willing to have their entire body, personality mutilated by drastic surgery is in a position to decide what is right. Are we supposed to trust people with Multiple Personality Disorders just because its "their body" means they should be allowed to go around behaving erratically. Seriously if you're in a position where you are willing to do such a thing to yourself then you're not in a position to make good decisions. They're not mentally ill but have a mental condition, whats the difference here? I don't see any information supporting what you're saying here and either way just because I have a source on the Internet doesn't make it anymore reliable than what I'm saying right now. They aren't normal people they are very sick people.

Because its a very drastic move to have such surgery on your own body, to do such a thing should be a crime as it is violating your very personality and existence as a person. Such strain could provoke the character into perhaps deep depression and suicide as well as harming others about them. Stop with the pathetic argument that "its their own bodies" explain to me then why suicide is against the law aswell as assissted. You guys live in a fantasy world if you think that people are free to do whatever the hell they like with themselves. I see people as disturbed that want to have their own bodies completely mutilated in an effort to solve their depression, even though like someone said earlier changing their gender won't even fix their problems but probably create more (such as the person Grim_Jokes mentioned). You can't expect people to behave normally, they need to be properly councilled and given mental help before they wreck their own lives and perhaps others, seriously I know I'm right here you guys just need to open your eyes, just a little bit :roll:

^^Says the guy who often makes a reference to the "evils of religion" in most of his posts. You're just asuming im some right wing tosser like xplsbam but I'm not going to fill that role in this "debate". You do not need a degree in Psychology (note correct spelling) to understand that these people are under pressures and have lived a very confused life as I said in my previous posts. They could be a danger to society as they are very disturbed, they need proper psychological help not the declaration to hungrily have bits and pieces chopped off them. Seriously what is wrong with my opinion I'm not suggesting they should be exterminated or anything,just that it is to dangerous for (their own sakes) and societies to make this decision on their own.

But. some don't. If they choose to alter their bodies, let them do so. We do live in a free society, don't we? I think you have to be confused about yourself if you think you were born in the wrong body and are willing to undergo life threatening no doubt very painful surgery for something that won't even work properly. Lets stop trying to be politically correct and "respecting" their decisions when we all know they have problems that they cant handle themselves.

The only reason anyone would regret a sex change is the way people treat them for it. My girlfriend knows a lady who works at a hardware store. She had a sex change from being a man to being a woman. Yet, she is still forced to dress up as a man, even though she wants to be a woman. Now, that, is unfair. Do you think being bisexuality is a mental disease too? People that have had a sex change have probably lead a very confused, angry life and I don't think they are in a position to decide whether or not a sex change would help them. I never mentioned anything to do with bisexuality so that is irrelevant, its not about physically altering your body.

This is quite an odd topic to be discussing :| I think its very strange for someone to want to have a sex change though. I imagine that the person wanting to have such a sex change would be in a very unstable place (mentally) and should not be allowed to do something that they would probably regret in later life.

Ahh that makes me feel so sorry for that 400 pound woman I saw waddling down the street, she is so fat and its obviously to do with the fact she is oh so poor! If people weren't so lazy it is pretty easy to find cheap ingredients, for example not all food is simply sold at a supermarket. Meaning I personally find it pretty hard to feel sympathy for the American families there. EDIT: Germans have a alot of meat there =P~

we arent allowed real life pictures yet this is allowed, i could start to put together a picture of how someone dresses, their eye colour, hair type/colour, height, weight, shoe size- if i was a stalker id have it narrowed down what to look for.
