  1. A few reviews ticked me off, they are quality games and what they say can hardly qualify as a review. Honestly a game review should analyze, Gameplay, Graphics, Lifespan( replayablity factor) and some other stuff. Well, in their defense this is more of a review to help parents choose "wholesome, good games" for their little kids, not a review for what games are flat-out the best. The Christian sides of it kind of tick me off though. Oh, and of course the fact that "Pokemon promotes the disproved theory of evolution." I mean, that makes me go "WHAT THE [bleep]!?" on more than a few levels.
  2. I remember I had some Digimon game for the Ps1 that just went on forever and ever and ever and ever... and the challenges were worse than doing Zelda: Oracle of Seasons without a guide. I just gave up after I had like 100+ hours on it  .
  3. The concept of independent study isn't that hard to grasp, is it? Plenty of people at my school will study for an AP or two outside of their normal coursework. Being the motivated people they are, they study enough throughout the year and end up doing fine. I've seen plenty of people take the regular class and go for the AP test too. It's annoying having to go through like 50% more work and information than the regular class offers, but if they study enough they usually do fine.

For a guy who seems so sure of himself (and saying carbon dating is wrong... why?) you sure use the words "probably" and "I think" a lot. I mean, you're guessing at the proportions that the Bible is built of. Have you even read more than 3 verses of it? Seems like you're pushing a blind faith in something you don't even understand :-w . Sometimes I wonder if people just act this stupid to try and start a riot for their own amusement. I did detect a hint of sarcasm in that post, especially in the first line :-k .

Satenza. Stop living in the past. And for one thing, you're denying the value of the Bible because of how people have used it, not because of what it says. Where the heck did you get that kind of logic?
  6. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
But that's the problem. They claim it as the "Word of God", so they'd say you're argument was incorrect, or something like that. And the Fullmetal world was smart, they got rid of Christianity almost 400 years ago  .

You sound like someone's grandpa :XD: . "We go to school uphills, both ways, in absolute zero weather."
  8. "The Bible Game"-97. Bibleman- 99. Christian Founders- 100. Charlie Church Mouse Bible Adventures- 103 (wtf?). ONLY from a site like this  . Elder Scrolls almost failed :-k . Oh crap, The Matrix: Path of Neo got a 36 :XD: . Basically, this site is for parents looking to control their kindergardner's lives with brainwashing Christianity :-$ . I mean, read why these things lose ratings :XD: . Edit: Randomly looking through them, I came across this hilarious review:
  9. Are you lowering yourself to the level of a mere animal? That seems a lot like Roman philosophy though, except for the nice touch of cynicism. It's basically dividing the body into parts and naming their functions, i.e. labeling us as not one living thing but a sum of parts, which is false, or at least bad, thinking. (The basic philosophy is eye=for seeing, ears=for hearing, sex organs= for reproducing). Do you really believe that if you have a purpose, it is to be nothing but to be a worthless carrier of genes?
  10. Did I mention I (kind of) love the smell of blood? Hate looking at it (at least while within the body, gross...), but the smell is quite interesting. Let's leave the Dracula jokes at home kiddies, we can all see them coming from a mile away :-$ .

Who, Masaru Emoto? Or are you resorting to petty attacks? Yes, it just looks like he's hallucinating. I was never reffering to you... Read the edit in the above post will yeh. Hallucinating in what way? In following scientific experimentation? It's not like he used just one crystal lol... there's mountains of evidence for Emoto's conclusions. As for the edit, I don't know where you're going with that. I agree with it- it's why I threw away Christian beliefs as bull, and don't believe in Heaven or Hell, no matter how many religions say it exists. Still has nothing to do with my belief in a God. Ugh, getting way off topic here -.- .

The man who wrote those books was a Japanese scientist for the Hado corporation. Not some deluded Bible preaching Christian (not that I have anything against the Bible). A scientist. Anyways, Zeus probably doesn't like you much :P . He usually doesn't respond to people other than his offspring, like King Iarbas (at least, according to man, which we know we can't trust). Man did Dido make a bad move on that one... Meh, I'll give it a couple years, seems like it'll take that long for you to open your mind. EDIT: Ah crap, we turned this into another "religion" and "does God exist?" debate. Eh, it was inevitable on a Bible thread I suppose... Lez attempt to get back on topic :? .
  14. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
Ugh. I'm not saying there's evidence that Zeus exists. I'm saying that there's no possible way to ever say he doesn't exist. We can't ever know everything, especially not when it comes to supernatural debates. "You're on drugs". Cute. Anyways, did you even read the whole thing? I mean, it's practically impossible to not at least think there's something out there based on that data. What, are you some rebellious teenage atheist who's had too much "God" in her life from church, family and school? You seem stubborn to the extent of not even daring to look into the reasons why people believe in a God. It's like you're afraid to be proven wrong (not that I'm saying what I believe is 100% fact, it's no where close).
  15. Ever been to World 2? The air is toxic with the fumes of scammers and merchants. I'd rather be in a Nazi concentration camp than there.

    1) For all you know, neither cameras nor the human eye could detect Zeus and the other gods. We don't "know" that they don't exist, we just assume that based on modern science. 2) When I say "gods" I'm not talking about Roman and Greek beliefs, but the possibility that if there's a chance there's some kind of a "God", there could be an equal chance that it's actually "gods". 3) http://www.cygnus-books.co.uk/features/ ... -emoto.htm Read it. If you don't believe in some form of a god by the end of that, well, then you're too stubborn to even listen to those who believe in one, i.e. a lost cause. It seems like it too, the way you go on about, "I ain't believing in God unless you basterds give me a mountain and a half of evidence." Maybe I should just make a thread about it rather than reposting is to this extent...
  17. Yer, I was completely knackered after my first session lol. Much harder playing singles though... double doesn't tire you out as much  I play tennis... that's a workout, a real man's game 8-) . Rock climbing will have you use and excercie every muscle in your body if done correctly Geez.. I've tried those indoor ones, I do okay vertically, but when the rock slants to the point where you're between vertical and horizontal (back to the ground horizontal), I just fall because it's so hard  . Anyways, I was just saying that tennis>badmiton.

Zomgz, I live 45 min. from Dayton!!! It's a small world. ON TOPIC: I had a snow day today, and I get another one tommorow!!! No sleeping ftw! Same o-O. Cincinnati area. That's 3 this year; I'm content. We had a 3 hour, then later a 7 hour blackout... kinda scary at night, especially with the whole neighborhood black... like a frozen hell o_O. And we literally have an inch thick layer of snow-ice and a centimeter or so of clear ice on the top of the packing snow and that layer of snow-ice (or whatever it's called, it's white but won't budge). It's kinda freaky.
  19. Yes, it's allowed. It might suck though.

Faith is blind. It isn't evidence- it's hope. If you've ever read the Bible, blind stupid faith almost killed Isaac, for one thing. Also, there really isn't evidence against a God existing- if anything there's plenty (including scientific data) for it. There is evidence though for debating against man made Gods, such as the Christian God, and arguing against what man pictured Him as. Again, arguing against one view of a God of a small section of mankind is not the same as arguing the existence of a God (or gods, maybe) in general.
  21. Nad, you're giving 'em way too much credit. It's more like: --->Joke ---->Head

Are you saying wrong "weird" or wrong "mortal sin"?
  24. Rebdragon replied to a post in a topic in Off-Topic
I do not find anything wrong with incest. I do find it wrong for two closely related people to attempt to create a child, as statistically the chances for a disorder are high, but I really don't see anything morally wrong with incest. So it's weird, we get that, just because our society has taught us to think it's weird doesn't mean it's morally wrong in any way, shape, or form. And the fact that you don't even have enough evidence to convince yourself shows that you're point is weak beyond comparison.
  25. Or be like me: I'm no fighter; I'm pretty weak, but I'm much swifter (including reflexes), smaller, and faster than most people  . Great for quick escapes or dodging punches/kicks in general :P .
