  1. Stop playing the damn game then.

actually if your a "believer" and you have to fake it then you never really owned your religion in the first place. How can you know if televangelist have anything to do with the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is only for the Believers mate. Yes I understand some of those men/women are just trying to earn/scam people for money. Don't stereotype televangelists. Corinthians is provable. Quite obvious really. If you don't understand the message of the cross you are perishing. Only doesn't make sense to an unbeliever, and to an unbeliever it is not "provable". We have two choices here: To experience what you are talking about and follow it blindly. or To stay in the dark about it, and, without any experience, produce an unbiased opinion about this matter. Bother have their advantages. Both have their faults. Sadly, it's choose one, or choose the other. Personally I'd rather analyze something and not experience it than follow it blindly. Oh and kudos to you on the total contradiction in the bolded parts. Oh [cabbage]. This is going to get bloody.
  3. Tom Clancey's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the Xbox 360 :-w . Only slightly addicted :anxious: .
  4. No, I don't remember him quitting. I remember him "quitting" and logging on less than a week later though. Still, I believe he has permanently quit at this point, right? Can't recall :-k .
  5. Pfft Sat, stop getting frikking philisophical on us, answer the question, and have a laugh for once on these forums. To answer the question, personally it's knowing that no matter how hard my work is for the night, I'll have an episode of Fullmetal Alchemist waiting for me at 12:30 later that night. :ohnoes: Damn Adult Swim took up the slot for Ghost in the Shell... I could give it a chance, but with no FMA on Adult swim I'm starting to go into Fullmetal de..bt.... can't.... breathe.... :uhh: . I suppose Oreos and Ghost Recon (i.e., blowing someone's head off with a Grenade Launcher from a couple hundred yards away) make me happy as well :-k . Still, going to be tough these months without my Fullmetal... Don't you dare say it Sat :-$ .
  6. Nice almost-elegant save there :-w . These quitting threads appear to be similiar symptoms to Trojann's Quit and Stay Syndrome, for any people who have been to General P2P in the past few months :-k . It was, and may still be, quiet a rampant disease throughout the General P2P forum- couldn't go a day without at least 5 quitting threads being on the front page. Maybe the virus mutated and infected the Off-Topic inhabitants through a carrier... Okay, no matter how likely it appears that it was me, it wasn't, I swear! :-#
  7. I've never heard a statement sound so wrong and yet so correct at the same time :-k .
  8. I just use both :-w .
  9. What about a 2 child limit? And that's your 2000th post. If anyone has read Ender's game, the idea of letting families have two children with basic priveleges (sp?), and any children after that not getting things such as public education, etc., could be a good idea to not punish people for having 2+ kids, but to make them not want to have more than 2. (like sumpta) Pardon my sentences, it's too late for me to be thinking straight >_<.
  10. Forgot to add, if it's on National Geographic, I'll watch it. Bleh, Trinity Blood... can't believe that show still has that slot on Adult Swim... it's such crud :? . I mean, I've seen bad anime, but geez. And I agree on Inuyasha, it's cool but I never really followed the show that much :-$ . FMA still beats them all.

Sounds more like your conscience :-w . Oh, and I believe Tigra has already burned that second point to ashes.
  13. EDIT: Just check my sig. I got the quote from the "Christian game reviews" site in the Video Games&Consoles forum; yes, a Christian did in fact say those precise words. Funniest thing I saw there.
  14. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
Yes, arguing a battle using intelligence does in fact mean Jack Sh!t when we're arguing against someone's beliefs, which, when one is stubborn to such an extent, becomes no longer a debate. -Again, the typical "you're not a Christian, you wouldn't understand" [cabbage] is getting really annoying. -No one knows Truth. Many people, including some Christians and many others of course, are just so narrowminded and arrogant to accept the fact that *gasp* they could be wrong. -You'd be surpised how many "false prophets" there are out for your mullah. -Can you define what the Holy Spirit is? Not in an insulting way, I simply can't remember how exactly it works and how people view it, and I'm too lazy to go check my Bible  . -No one knows if "spirits" talk to people, now or in the past. It's highly unlikely, so don't go automatically thinking without question that the people who wrote the Bible, and people today talk to God and spirits. It's not a bad idea to have at least a little skepticism dude. Some don't, some do. It's not like every single one of them was on one side of the spectrum- some were greedy, some were good, whole hearted, "children of God" or whatever. Don't think that just because they fit the category of an evangelic Christian that they're automatically good, and same goes for the other way around. Wow. You make it sound like you don't trust in, nor have any, "intellect". I'm not calling you an idiot, but it's just the way you phrased it  . Oh, and claps for the personal attack. Good job evading explaining your point by insulting their intelligience. =D> Yes, well It's about time he got a taste of his own medicine. And yes warrior it does speak to me. And is something you'd have to experience to understand. It doesn't speak to me like a human would by voice...but yeah hard to explain. And yes I understand if you think I'm crazy, weird etc. Please explain so I can call b.s. :-w .
  15. I hate going with the crowd. Even if I might like something, if everyone else does I just subconsciously decide I don't like it. Or partially consciencly. Wouldn't say I'm abnormal, "crazy", or weird, but I don't like things that the majority of people do, simply because I hate going with the crowd :-$ .
  16. The first post contains a paragraph on that subject. Ownage new sig, by the way, and I'm not being sarcastic. :) I agree with the essay, it's too true (except for a few parts). Ya, I want to know who reported and who edited it.. I mean, it's just stupidity :-w . Saying that my quote (as I'm assuming they don't actually have anything against Fullmetal Alchemist or water, could be wrong) is offensive is in itself hilarious irony. To say that what one fundamentalist Christian said is "offensive" is itself acknowledging the fact that the Tip.it staff seems to find fundamentalist Christians idiots, which is proving and agreeing with my point and yet (at first glance) going against it at the same time. The irony is just hilarious :-w . If ya'll had just edited the quote and said "no religious stuff in sigs" I may have been okay with it I guess (though it's not really religious), but editing out the whole sig for thinking that people can be offensive to themselves, it's just hilarious, no other word for it. My pm box is waiting mods, but enough about me... let's get back on topic.

The bible is very hard to understand due to its metaphors. If it was really that simple, everyone would know excatly God was talking about on every scripture. Yet there is many different intepretations (sp?). Seriously, The bible is made for everyone, but not just for "the dumb". Its not a book on knowledge, its a book on life. ~Defender~ Wow, can't believe I'm saying this, but... *gulp*, I agree with Defender (*bleh*, bad taste in my mouth). The Bible is extremely complex, saying it's "only for the dumb" is simply ignorance.
  18. If that's not a laugh, I don't know what is.
  19. Wtf, does Tip.it have no Stargate fans o_O?
  20. Well, when I first aspired to get 94 Mage and Barrage those with the ability to cast the spell were quite scarce, making the ability respectable. By the time I got it it was worthless to call yourself a Barrager, seeing as how everyone and they're moms could do it by then.

Seems like Tip.it is cracking down on everything from generally non-insulting phrases to Edward Elric. Seems like we're getting varying opinions on souls :-k . I personally believe that souls are energy within us, and that when we die that energy is released from the body and integrated into a universal energy, my view of "God" if you suppose. It'd be like going to Heaven, or being with God, but being those two things at the exact same time.
  22. Crap, 5 posts into a technology thread and we're already debating about Christianity and the Bible :-w .
  23. Teenagers have killed themselves from finding out they were gay.
  24. Rebdragon replied to Rebdragon's topic in Off-Topic
Now, when you say thoughts and morals, do you mean morals integrated into ourselves since birth, or morals that we gain in life? :-k And trap, I'm not sure I get the "5,621" connection to souls. Maybe to the mind, but the soul and mind are generally seperated in philosophy.
