Yuck, I hate borrowing money. The feeling of looking at my bank and knowing that it's actually worth less than it appears isn't fun. Now, lending money is fun. I help a friend, and when I look at my bank if I think it looks good, I feel even better because it's worth more than it appears to \ . Well, good job hanging in there and not letting that guy win. Ya, I've heard from a lot of people that if one does this right this can be great cash. I wouldn't reccomend the Deaths though, 250ea is basically impossible to get at this current time :? . Using Obby Mauls and other lesser obby drops sounds great, or you could go the Muggi way and do the Fight Caves a couple dozen times :XD: .

The Barrows used to be great cash, but now it's so frikin' easy anyone can do it, heck I'm a measly 96 and I don't pray on 4/6 of the Brothers. Sure, getting an item is nice every once and a while, but with the pathetic prices due to the Barrows being so easy (points conspicuously at sig) it just doesn't pay the bills anymore :x .

As you can see most of my goals are slightly related :lol: . and you look lame making a first post of that quality... remember its a game. its there for fun. if he enjoys lighting fires, then who are we to tell him otherwise? in your opinion, if firemaking sucks that much and is so repetitive, then wouldnt that give you more respect for a person who reached level 99 in said skill? personally, i think firemaking is a skill that has been abused by jagex. i found it fun to train it to level 60, just so i could have the personaly satisfaction of being able to burn yews. i respect those that have the patience to train fm to 99. and if you enjoy firemaking, then dont stop. Ya know, this is probably the first time I've agreed with someone with a post count of 1 :lol: , maybe not with the way he said it totally, but the overall point of the post. We play this game for fun, right? I'd hope so. Firemaking isn't any fun, at any lvl. Nothing about the skill is exciting to be honest- it's just burning the same frikin' logs 100k times. So, if I ever see someone with 99 FM I don't notice their dedication, but the fact that their life is so pitiful that they actually spent the time to burn over 96k Maple logs, just for a number to make they're stats look nice.

Not banned lol, but Jagex discourages it. They know it's dangerous, so they tell us not to do it. Getting killed while AFK'ing and then getting a temp ban is really just adding insult to injury :? I remember doing that exact calculation and laughing at all the people saying they had 100+ dry spells (which was abnormally high) on the RSB. :lol: Someone, I forget who, calculated the average to be about 1/20 from thousands of trips added up from the RSB. So the 1/20 may be inaccurate due to lyers looking for publicity (God are there a ton of them on the RSB) but it's pretty close. Don't worry everyone, if you're luck isn't great you're going to recieve compensation in the future :thumbsup: . That calculation isnt true... if you did 20 trips and there was a 1/20 chance, thats a 50% chance of you getting an item throuought the entire thing. divide that by 5 (20 X 5 = 100), and you have 10%. 10% of the time, 100 trips will amount to nothing. But then again, that's just my math. Actually you can't just divide it by 5, that messes up the calculation. I know, it's weird, but diving it by 5 doesn't work. Basically, the only possible way to do it is to find the chance of you not getting a drop (19/20^100) then subtracting that from 100%; trying to find the possibility of getting the drop doesn't work. Then again, it's been a year since my HS Statistics class, so it's foggy :XD: .
