Took me 2 tries, and of course I forgot my [bleep]ed Boots when I beat him . Dessous, what a joke :lol: . Well, I did get a glitch on him where he teled next to me and froze up, I guess lag owned him :XD: ! Damis, total joke, didn't even take a dose entangling + earth waving (though I was 79 mage and 90 combat when I did it :lol: ). And Fareed, as everyone knows, was a pushover. Easy as heck.

True, I suppose this'd be a good first timers guide =D> . And if he had suggested maging it'd just be exactly like every other guide (and everyone would say that it'd be pointless to make it- we've got Sat's guide for that). So kudos to you for being unique :thumbsup: .

You're respect of someone is based solely on whether they like your guide or not? :-s Okay, I was a little harsh I guess (though honest), but idk, the Barrows never seemed like a "fun" thing to do. Also, getting back a Veracs Helm isn't as hard as you might think :wink: . This is kind of "A Poor Man's Guide to Cheap and Safe Barrowing." Nontheless, meleeing at a low level... eh. Seriously, if you want to have true fun at the Barrows, pack a few Ice Bursts and go :P . That's way better than continuasly hitting 0s meleeing on Dharok with a lvl 75 Character :? .

Ya, but not every bow costs 900k to recharge :roll: . This thread is simply another cost:benefit analysis. If people want extra bang for there buck, they can use accurate. Though for people like me who don't care that they're spending a small amount more cash go for rapid :thumbsup: .

This is one of those "I wouldn't use it if it was the last method on earth" ideas for the Barrows. Let's see the flaws: No way is anyone going to be able to do squat using a whip on the melee brothers, as has been said earlier. Bad idea. 1 Prayer Pot? Going suicidal? (Note, I use a method that doesn't use Prayer Pots, but I use melee armor and mage the 4 easy brothers without Prayer). Bad idea. You've got a cruddy outfit. No offense, but it just sucks. This is like a 3 itemers outfit, which is kind of pathetic. Killing only 2 or 3 brothers? What's the point in that? You're going to end up getting items VERY rarely, I'd average one every 40+ trips with that method. With your method and outfit I could see anyone under 105 combat getting annihilated in the catacombs (especially having 4 brothers randomly pop up at you). Those Sharks are going to eat up the profit that you're trying to get with this method. Going past 30KC is pointless, it has been proven. Also, you're going to be eating through a hell of a lot of food that you'll need for emergencies by getting a 30 KC with frikin' Monk robes on; I see no kind of defensive armor on at all (what, is every defense stats +0?). Have you actually tried this out? I doubt it, it doesn't sound like it'd work all that well. Sorry, but this doesn't sound like fun. Now Ancients and God Spells, that's fun. Okay, you can breathe, harsh criticism is over :| .

You realize that this thread is so old that Dmeds were worth well over 2mil back then. The price you see today are simply due to the Barrows update, which annihilated Dmed prices :| .

and you also have 99 attack and str lol being super potted too Wait, are you saying that he's stuck at 99's even when he pots? That's not true lol, with pots you can break 100 :wink: . And it's not harder, it's just 78 is full of noobs now that the 90+'s have moved to Affliction and Heartreturns.

And maybe the training could be more interesting, 'cause doing the same thing from when you can burn maples all the way up to 200M experience doesn't exactly sound interesting.

Yep, and you'll be happy to know even new members are allowed to organize KBD and Mole trips :thumbsup: . Chaos, DK, and KQ trips, along with miscellaneous (i.e., CW or Fight Caves on rare occasions) can only be planned by TO's and Leaders though :| .

Noobs 8-) . Both in quantity and sheer mastery of the Noob skill. IDK what Jagex was thinking making the Noob skill so easy to lvl; it's becoming hard to find people who aren't already 85+ in it :| .

I'm sure that if firemaking wouldn't have been created in the first place, we wouldn't be missing it, but that applies for other skills too(also the whole game) Ya, there's no way of getting rid of it, it's here to stay. But even though I hate skills, the other ones actually have some uses- Slayer, work hard at it, get a few combat lvls, and w00t, Abby Demons. Farming- Great for seeds, also has some eccentric uses. Cons, eh, just for fun :lol: , but POH's ROCK. I mean sure, if we never had the skills we may not have missed them a ton (except Magic, no Magic and I would never be playing :lol: ), but every other skill actually has a use. And this is coming from a guy who basically hates every skill :lol: .

^^ Everyone who is saying that FM is great for total lvls is basically agreeing that it's a worthless skill. So without it, would there be any problems? Kay, some people wouldn't look as cool with and extra 99 lvls stacked on their total, but if all it is is a total and exp helper, why even have it.
