It's not that they shouldn't be allowed, but that it creates an incredulous conversation. Honestly, as a scientist, a parent, or a non-virgin, one would like to know where someone is coming from before they listen to what they have to say. A scientist would rather here the words of another scientist when talking about science, a parent would rather hear the words of another parent when talking about parenting, and, quite frankly, someone who wants to talk about sex would probably not be consulting a virgin. If one who is highly qualified in the topic at hand, and they read something that sounds ludicrous, would they not like to know they amount of weight they can give to such a ludicrous statement before they feel a need to confront it? If said statement comes from someone of experience, further delving into that person's reasoning grants a reasonable possibility of learning or gaining something. But if said statement comes from someone who is inexperienced, the conversation loses any kind of mutual learning or argumentation and devolves into a teacher-student relationship with a student who thinks they know more than the teacher. It's a waste of time; it's ineffecient to put it coldly. But for the record, I never said you don't have a right to talk. I'd just like to know where your coming from so I can really understand the point of view of what you're saying. And no, it ain't Christlike what he's doin'. Yes, it is Christlike for a school to get rid of someone who isn't instilling Christlike values in their students. For a Christian school one expects a higher appreciation for what is fair and just, and that coach did not meet those expectations. Both the parents and the faculty have every right to stop him from teaching the students poor values on their way towards becoming adults.

I don't care if it sounds arrogant; I (and I hope many others) honestly need to know the information to really post on this thread. You really do need to be "qualified" to talk about this topic. I mean, as a random example, what if there was a thread on debating military tactics? Sure, all the guys who spend they're lives playing Halo and Call of Duty might have a meager grasp of such concepts as flanking and diversions, but would a person who's in the military (like the marine on this forum) honestly give any kind of a damn about what they have to say? Probably not. Not because the military officer thinks said person is an idiot, but because they know that said person is not properly specialized in knowledge of the topic at hand. Such is the same for those who play team sports when they read posts of members that compare basketball to war. How can one debate properly with someone who does not properly understand the unwritten codes of sportsmanship? It's a wasted effort, like explaining the color red to a blind person. It's not that they will not understand, it's that they can't.

If you aren't sore after a workout and the day after, you either aren't doing it right or need to change things up so that your body doesn't get used to the workout routine. Although the soreness when you first start out is generally bad enough to keep you out of commission for two days or so, there should still be at least some soreness that you feel after any workout, especially if you're lifting. If there's no soreness your muscles probably ain't growing.

Well you don't have to intentionally miss, but you should tone it down a bit. I thought that most coaches don't like to run up the score, as it makes you seem like a jerk. If my hockey or football team is winning 6-0 or 52-0, then my coaches will tell us to take it down a notch. You play till the game is over. What team sports do you play? This isn't war mate, it's a recreational game. If they were bad enough to lose 100-0 then, most likely, any opportunity to let them get a basket would immediately result in the opposing team knowing the winning team was going easy on them. I.e., I'd bet they were nice about it, but they weren't going to blatantly give them a free lane to the hoop everytime they were on offense. When you tone it down a notch, you don't play like you're playing with three-year olds. You play more or less normal, just not so intense. Basically, if you break a sweat when you're toning it down, you're probably doing it wrong.

Same advice I gave a few posts up, it may be easier to start off on AIM or even threw texting, a great conversations starter is get a friend to go along with it, and text the number saying who's this? She'll answer and say "ashley (idk her name) who's this", then you say your name and be like, I think we go to the same school, then say you're friend told you to text that number and it must have been a mix up, then she'll say oh that's alright, and then say anyways.. what's up, and start from there. It sounds dumb, but it works. But at the same time that shows a blatant lack of confidence. Just do what the guy in the superbowl commercial did.

All right, if you're serious, answer this: Why are you making it your main point that Az shouldn't be bumping this thread if he doesn't like it? Do you expect that by him not posting, it will suddenly dissappear? It's already made it to five pages on it's own (and five excruciating ones at that), so what makes you think that him voicing his opinion is such a problem; why do you think that posting a rare negative opinion is hypocritical? It's like he said, would you rather that he voice his opinion in another thread? Because that would just mess up the forums. Or are you saying that he shouldn't voice his opinion here? Then that's just sugercoating everything, and sometimes things need to be said (to properly represent the true opinions of this forum). If neither, then what exactly do you propose? You can't criticize his actions if you can't think of a proper alternative.
