"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
If you know each other, I don't see why striking up a conversation would be odd. Hey man, you never know! I added a really cute girl in my science class on myspace, and decided to IM her one day.. We ended up talking for a while, and now shes one of my best friends. Just do it, whats there to lose?! Wait, msn? I skimmed over that vital detail. Why don't you talk to her in, uh, science class? If you're interested in her, ask her out straight up. All you have to do is ask confidently, as hard as that may seem for some during the teenage years.

This is a false dilemma I think. If not someone can tell me the right word.

Change the title. It's a company, not China genius.

Post counts
I like them as a personal statistic but wouldn't care if they were taken from public view. Since I stick to OT most people here are familiar faces. Or avatars, I guess.

Wow, it would suck to have AIDS. You're going to die and you'll never find love :|

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Oh for the love of god *facepalm*. Yes, people do keep using it wrong. I did not. If you want to read up on the device of irony, I'd like to direct you to wikipedia or some similar encyclopedia. It comes in many forms and the one you're referring to is situational. It can also be verbal or dramatical. Irony thrives on a disparity and friction between two things. Like you said "something not expected to happen happening"; but just as much things unsaid but (unconsciously) said for example. So. From the years I've spent here, I dare to say that a lot of OT'ers are slightly condescending and arrogant. This is not necessarily an insult, I tend to be that too. I love Rebdragon, I do, but he can be a sarcastic and arrogant [wagon]. Actually, it sometimes seems to be the standard mode of communication on TIF to be a bit harsh. So one OT'er calling another arrogant when in fact he is being arrogant himself, without being aware of this hypocrisy and actually 'blaming' the other for what is in fact a shared arrogance, that IS ironical. Oh, I get it. You think I don't think I'm arrogant and condescending. On the contrary my dear, I most certainly do. Thus no irony. [/being a tool] ... [being a tool]

I don't see the irony. Mebe I'm slow. Apparently Goddess thinks he hasn't changed in a bad way, so I guess that initial pretentious sounding comment was a blip. Or maybe he's just on a high horse and makes up for it by being helpful. I dunno, I don't remember the guy.

I don't remember him very well, but I think we got along pretty well. I'm just not liking the vibe of the guy who came back.

What are three things you wish you were good at?
Drawing. Stock predictions. Speed in running. The first two I wouldn't feel bad about skipping the learning process on, and the third I've hit my effective limit on.

You're not the only one, Its quite frustrating. Mentally arrogant, sure, but are you guys socially arrogant?

Pardon me if I'm immoral, but can't you show sexual interest in someone who has a significant other? You could put it in joking terms, but I don't really feel like you have to submit to the other guy if she wants you more. That's probably practicality over nicety though. God damnit, why do nice guys have to finish last. Stupid world.

If you want to be her friend, do what you're doing. If you want to be her boyfriend, ask her out on a date. The maths of society are complex.

Actually, Mage seems to get on pretty well with his sister. Anyway, as I told you, go for it. If I'm remembering right, she's shown some interest in you, correct? And if it bothers you, ask what your sister thinks first. If you don't hate your sibling a little you aren't siblings.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
First, stop being so vain. I has seeing guys at the gym who are obviously there for nothing but vanity. Second, incline bench.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
Meh, it really depends on the person I think, but I'd say that the average recreational lifter can bench their own weight. Personally I bench something like 140, but I weigh about 170 (below average for lifters).

The MBTI Personality Test
God Damnit. I was going to respond something like "these tests are stupid feel-good pseudo-scientific wastes of time," and then I went and took the frikkin' test. Extroverted (E) 50% Introverted (I) 50% Sensing (S) 64.71% Intuitive (N) 35.29% Thinking (T) 60% Feeling (F) 40% Judging (J) 56.25% Perceiving (P) 43.75% (I/E)STJ I received as result of INTJ last year when I took the test in the last thread. I guess I'm less intuitive now or something.
