Are you kidding? Ibuprofen is a minor painkiller usually used for headaches. "STRIP THE ADDICT! MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF HER! BWAHAHAHAHA!" Seems like a proper administrative response, right? It's sick that people could do this to a kid in the first place, but even worse because it was over something for headaches and body aches. You're over reacting as well. You're acting like the VP ripped off her clothes and felt her up when in reality she wasn't even touched. There's no possible way to be traumatized from this and she's just looking for college money from something that happened 6 years ago.. It's not the fact that she wasn't phyiscally abused, but she her humanity was abused. What the administration had was a lead from a trouble-causing student onto a good-behaved one. Who the hell believes that? They had suspicision, fine. But at the same time they can't go far by doing a complete strip search of her for Ibuprofen. The No-Tolerance Policy is a good system, but reduce the rules of drugs. Marijuana or Meth would be more reasonable to search her, but for some painkillers? Christ, at that rate you might as well search folks for pencils. A well-sharpened pencil thrusted right up somebody's mouth into their throats would surely cause serious damage like a weapon. Painkillers can get you high...but it doesn't mean that is their only perpose and the goal of this girl. Good for her, she got college money. The school however, got [bleep] and I laugh at them. She doesn't deserve anything. The only thing that needs to be done is fire the VP but she gets to cruise through college, claiming to be "traumatized", for something that happened 6 years ago? You don't see me trying to sue the White Water Bay theme park because I nearly drowned 8 years ago do you?

As always, my recommendations are The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann I've already seen Melancholy. It was good. As for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, I haven't. I'll add that. Thanks. :thumbup: My recommendations are the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA, Endless Waltz, G Gundam, Rosario + Vampire, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Why Vampire + Rosario? There are only two things that annoys me about texting: 1) The idiots in class who text all day and wonder why they're failing. 2) Text "language" such as "u", "r", "ur", and "y". If you're going to text me use some damn English!

No dude, he isn't doing anything wrong. I'm pretty sure if you were in his position where you're used to being able to use a computer whenever you like, you'd be pretty pissed if some randomer appeared out of nowhere and started running the place, not letting you use a computer that is yours just because she is talking to someone? Wow, all he wants to do is spend his free time doing something he enjoys, he's a kid/teenager, it's a need to do something recreational that you enjoy. I don't really understand the McDonald's part, so i'll pass on that one. You say that about him getting pissed because she has OCD, but I bet you've never lived with someone who has it. I expect you'd feel the same in his position. He's asking for help, not for you to be a jerk to him. About the computer, I'm pretty sure it's his dads computer considering the kid didn't buy it. I mean you can always just ask to move it anyways, it seems like his dad is being pretty supportive. Nah he said he and his brother both have their own computers also in that room. [/hide] We all still highly doubt they bought them themselves. More likely was the father bought them, and they each have a computer they use. Kind of like the one I use, I'll use like "Dad, something is wrong with my computer.", I know that it is technically still his (well, except the 160gb secondary harddrive, the moniter (Christmas present from parents) and the graphics card), however, I find it easier to say "my" because it refers to the one I use (and I'll probably end up owning it anyway when I get a place of my own, even if I do have to pay something for it, I wouldn't mind, my parents wouldn't overcharge and I don't have to buy a new one.) So yeah, until this kid goes and buys the computer, it is not his. I mean, I can say things like the T.V and PS3 are mine, but even then the money came from a policy my parents had on me and I got to keep the insurance (about £500-£600) and put the rest away, the T.V. pretty much came from money put into my bank by parents (even now, I still set a personal limit on what I can hit, though only recently got near it). If somebody else buys it for you then it's yours regardless. :|

:( Yeah people who blatantly hate Japanese stuff for a not so good reason annoy me, too. I do have a reason, it's sad, annoying and childish Oh come on you can come up with a better reason than that. That reason is just plain pitiful. Fake drama and lack of realism makes them boring and just annoying. You could say that about any western "reality" TV show though =/ It's not just the japanese. And it's not just reality TV. Every other television show creates some sort of fake drama or sadness between the characters and come up with pretty non-realistic solutions to their problems as well.

Maybe at the funeral he'll pop out of his coffin and Thriller will play? RIP Micheal :(

You really must've been bored if you've finished that quickly. Anyways episode 00 is just for laughs, nothing really contributing to the story except for the school festival part. As for it not finishing season 2 just started airing like 3 weeks ago.

I disagree. I didn't find it all that sad. Episodes 16 and 21 (After Story) are sadder than 9 (The one you mention). I found episode 18 (when Tomoya finally starts acting like Ushio's father) and episode 19 (where Tomoya settles things with his dad) to be sad as well as those. If I didn't play the visual novel before watching, then maybe it'd have a bigger impact or something. And I'm doing the same thing for Kanon right now. Going through the VN first then anime. Visual... Novel? You mean manga right?

Not brushing your teeth can come with long term effects. Not showering for a couple of days does nothing unless you have a horrible immune system.

The episodes for Haruhi Suzumiya aren't in chronological order just so you know. Here's the correct order: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Th ... a_episodes That has 3 different orders, which is the best way? :lol: (I remember faintly about you guys talking about this before, but I don't remember the best order). The first column is the broadcast order, the second column is chronological, and the third is DVD order. I chose chronological because it's the way the story goes. If you watch it in broadcast or DVD order you have to figure out what happened at what time yourself.
